The modern beauty industry offers a huge number of different instruments for creating the perfect manicure and pedicure. There are many ways to handle nails, with hardware manicure being considered the safest. Its essence is that the cuticle is removed not with manual devices, when using which there is a risk of injury or infection, but with the help of special attachments for the device. The sawdust of the nail plate and the area around it is carried out by a milling cutter. The procedure is simple, so it can be performed even by novice masters. These devices are so convenient and practical that many women prefer to have them at home.

Types of machines for manicure and pedicure

The principle of operation is similar for all devices, so let's dwell on their differences in more detail.

  • Power. The choice of the power of the device depends on the purpose for which the device is purchased. For manicure on natural nails, power indicators up to 35 W. For the tougher skin of the legs, this may not be enough. If you intend to remove gel polish and work with corns and calluses, it is better to take a closer look at 30-60 W models.
  • The number of revolutions. For home use, a device up to 5000 rpm will be enough. For students and novice craftsmen, it is better to opt for devices with a capacity of 25,000 rpm. And machines with a capacity of 30,000 rpm and more are recommended for more experienced craftsmen who already have the skills to handle similar products. For working with acrylic and artificial surfaces, the optimal device with 40,000-45,000 rpm.
  • Charger. Less efficient devices run on batteries or a charger. They do not have a stationary base, are compact and lightweight. It is convenient to take them with you on the road. However, they have enough charging for about an hour.More powerful devices run on electricity. They are most often purchased for professional use. In this case, you should pay attention to the type of plug and, if it is a Euro plug, it is better to immediately buy an adapter, because it may not fit a regular outlet.
  • Control type. There are three ways to control manicure devices. With manual control, the rotation speed of the roller and other parameters can be changed independently using a special switch. A special pedal is provided for foot control. The stronger the mechanical effect on it, the faster the rotation speed of the nozzle. Combined control devices combine both methods and are equipped with a switch handle and a foot pedal. The last two types are convenient for working in the salon when you need to work with both hands. However, their cost will be slightly higher than that of simpler models.
  • A set of attachments. If there are too few attachments, the quality of the manicure may suffer. If there are too many of them, there is a risk that not all of them will be used. And the more parts included in the set of the device, the more expensive it is. Even if you purchase the device exclusively for personal and not professional use, the kit must include attachments for filing the nail itself and for processing the cuticle. The standard set should include discs for shaping the nails, a spatula for pushing the skin around the nail, attachments for grinding and polishing the nail surface, discs for the periungual roller, a brush for removing dirt under the nails, and attachments for drying.
  • Retainers for attachments. There are three types of them. Manual is considered the most inconvenient, since the replacement of the drill in this case is very laborious. Automatic is the easiest and most comfortable way to replace the bur; it simply plugs into the socket and locks in place by itself. However, such models are not very common. Semi-automatic - the most common version of manicure machines. To change the attachment, it is enough to turn the handle of the device until it clicks.

Runail devices

There are many manufacturing firms specializing in the manufacture of manicure and pedicure machines. Let's briefly review the Runail models. Let's compare the PM-35000 and PM-25000 models.

Model for nail treatment Runail RM-25000 has an ergonomic design, a streamlined comfortable non-slip handle and combined control. Engine performance 25,000 rpm. In manual mode, the device can be controlled from the block, and if foot control is required, then the device can be turned on and off using a pedal. The attachments can be easily changed without a key. The built-in fan protects the device from overheating. The set contains drum nozzles with emery coating, designed for working with artificial plates, two cones: for working in the area with the nail in the cuticle area and for giving the nail its final shape. However, the power of the 10 W device is too small for a pedicure, especially in especially advanced cases.

Model Runail PM-35000 has characteristics similar to the previous model. Just as in the PM-25000 model, the device is equipped with a reverse, a foot pedal, power supply and a set of drills are included in the set. The advantage of this model is that it has a built-in fan to protect against overheating. In addition, it has a higher engine speed - 35,000 rpm. The power of the RM-35000 model is 35 W, which allows you to work with acrylic and other artificial surfaces.

A couple of years ago I gave my sister such a Runail device (the pink one with less power).Until now, everything works great: gel polish removes in just a few minutes. Simply fantastic! It's very easy to use. Learning to remove the coating without cuts and burns, in principle, is not difficult with a little practice. In general, I do not regret the gift. My sister does a great manicure for me too))
