If you decide to purchase this accessory in a store, then pay attention to the following points:

1. Are all seams well sealed;
2. Are there any protruding nails and screws;
3. the plugs must match the material;
4. no glue should be visible;
5. reliability of construction: the accessory should not creak and stagger, but have a stable position;
6. there should be no scratches, stains, abrasions.

However, such a purchase has its drawbacks: the price of the stand varies from 1.5 to 2.5 thousand rubles, which is quite expensive. Another of the common problems when buying a manicure stand under the arm is its incorrect size. In this case, the stand can be made by hand.This will make it possible to create the desired attribute of a pleasant color and corresponding to the size of the lamp, as well as help save money.

So, for the manufacture of a stand (ready-made it will cost about 2 thousand rubles) under a lamp (measuring 20x15x10 cm) we take the following materials.

• Wooden slats (10-15 mm wide, 35 cm long) are fastened together with PVA glue. As a result, we get one "plate" 16 cm wide, which we then divide into 3 shields using a jigsaw. Next, we tighten the received shields with clamps and wait for the glue to harden.

• When the glue is dry, we start sanding the wooden plates. We align the ends with a planer. We get three even shields of the same length and width.

• To give an aesthetic look, we round off the ends of the shields with a jigsaw (a cardboard stencil will help, which will make the corners of the same size).

• We proceed to the manufacture of the walls for the stand (their length is 11 cm). We build the walls from slats (their width is 16 cm).

• As a result, we get five parts: the lower, upper and main shield (we will cover it with fabric), the left and right wall.

• Let's start assembling. We take euro screws (confirms) and drill a hole under them with a drill. We construct a stand from 4 parts, while without the main shield, which will be covered with fabric. This detail requires careful preparation - it must be shortened (literally by 1 cm) with a jigsaw.

• We take the main shield and glue the foam rubber to it (Dragon glue will do).

• The next step is to cover the upper part with fabric. We use natural leather (easy to wipe and disinfect). We take a piece of leather with a "margin" for a full girth of the shield.

• We attach the manufactured upper part to the general structure using self-tapping screws.

• At the final stage, we cover the homemade manicure stand under the arm with varnish and let it dry.

Another accessory for a comfortable manicure is a pillow (roller). You can also purchase it from a specialty store and make it yourself. The process is not the most difficult, but painstaking.

1. We make a pattern of the required size.
2. We get the main part of a rectangular shape (the edges will be joined by a seam) and two circles (the sides of the pillow). The sizes are different: the side elements are 13 cm, the width of the main part is 28 cm, the length is 41 cm.
3. We twist a piece of foam rubber in the form of a roller, previously coated with glue.
4. We trim the pillow with a cloth (it should be wet-workable). First of all - the main part, then - the sides.
5. The colors of the pillow fabric may vary, but are not annoying.
