In fact, the product eats away at the “non-living” layer of the skin, thanks to a low concentration of solvent in its composition. The remover does not damage the healthy epithelium, as it is applied exclusively superficially to the cuticle.

This product was originally used to remove gel polish. When it was dissolved, the softening effect of the remover on the cuticle was noticed. After some modifications, on the basis of the existing remover, a more gentle tool was created directly for performing a safe unedged manicure.

This method of stressing the cuticle is suitable for owners of sensitive, thin skin with closely spaced vessels, since the use of a trim manicure is fraught with micro-cuts and bleeding for them. If the cuticle and periungual ridges grow too actively and have a coarse structure, mechanical processing is indispensable. But you can maintain the beauty of treated nails with a delicate remover.

When applied to the skin, the product dissolves the dry layer so that it can be easily removed with a pusher. Healthy skin does not come into contact with the chemical composition. But, nevertheless, it is worthwhile to use such funds with caution in order to avoid burns, damage to the healthy layer of the cuticle and an allergic skin reaction. It is important to choose only high-quality products and strictly follow the instructions for its use.

• Remover is not suitable for people who are allergic to different types of chemicals.
• You need to use the product with utmost care. In this case, a few drops can still flow onto or under the nail. This is not useful for the plate and can lead to softening and deformation.
• Not suitable for severely hardened leather. In this case, a remover can simply be a supplement to a mechanical manicure and a means of further correction and care.
• Frequent use of the product (more than once a week) is not allowed due to the risk of irritation or allergies.
• Cannot be used if the skin is damaged or dermatological.

Removers are different in appearance and texture:

• creamy;
• liquid consistency;
• gel.

Each type has its own advantages and disadvantages. The convenience of the cream remover is that it is easier to apply more precisely. This prevents the solvent from spreading over the nail. But the cream needs to be rubbed into the cuticle longer.

Also, the remover is different in composition.

• Alkaline. The safest product with the most gentle effect on nails. It works for half an hour after application, but does not harm the nail plate, softening only the skin. Ideal for home use.
• Acid. The most common type of remover. Such a tool is most often preferred by masters in salons and many lovers of self-care nails tend to it. The exposure time of the solvent to the stratum corneum of the cuticle is up to 20 seconds. It requires caution, since the acids in its composition can lead to thinning of the nail, allergies, itching, redness, and irritation.

• Oil. Safe in composition, with emollient rather than dissolving properties. Prepares the leather so that it can be easily pushed back and removed with a pusher.
• Mineral based. A rare remedy that has an extremely positive effect on the condition of the nails, which does not injure the plates and the skin.

From this it follows that the best option for a manicure is an oil remover.And for a high-quality pedicure, an acidic product is suitable, given the fact that the skin on the legs is coarser and harder.

When choosing a product, you should definitely take into account such features as: the presence of allergic reactions to cosmetic preparations with a chemical composition, the sensitivity of the skin, the available budget. When planning to use the remover for the first time, it is better to choose the safest and softest composition. Without knowing the individual reaction to a new drug, it is better to exclude acid removers. It is most reasonable to first visit a master who knows what is best for each type and feature of nails.

When buying a remover, like any cosmetic product, it is important to carefully check its expiration date. This should not be taken lightly, as chemicals that have exceeded their shelf life can be hazardous to health after application to the skin. The design of the bottle or tube with the remover is also important. The tool without a dispenser is very difficult to use in practice, especially for novice manicure masters and lovers of home hand care.
