Micellar water is used to quickly cleanse the skin. With its help, you can remove not only dust and grease, but also makeup. It is noteworthy that such a product has no restrictions on age and skin type. Soft micellar water can be used daily. You can appreciate its benefits on the road, when it is quite difficult to simply wash.

What can be made of?

Micellar water for face does not contain alcohol, silicone, parabens and fragrances. You can prepare the remedy at home.

The composition contains only safe components, which ensures a mild effect.

  1. Decyl Glucoside. It is a surfactant, safe for health. For the production, glucose and palm and coconut oils are used. The easiest way to buy the substance is from craft stores. Replaced with Lauryl Glucoside if necessary. The properties of the substances are quite similar, but the appearance is different. The latter makes the emulsion heavier and more opaque.
  2. Aloe and rose water. Natural ingredients that have a beneficial effect on the condition of the skin. Alternatively, any natural hydrolates can be used. It is worth making a choice based on the needs of the skin.
  3. Glycerol. Moisturizes the skin. It is worth carefully observing the proportions when adding this ingredient. Excess glycerin leads to a sticky feeling on the skin. You can slightly reduce the amount of glycerin in the composition. If stickiness appears after using homemade micellar water, then you even need to do this.
  4. Cosmetic extract based on glycerin. You can use absolutely anyone. The most popular are pineapple, avocado, cucumber, parsley and guava extracts. The component is needed for additional softening and soothing of the skin. The use of a cosmetic extract allows you to restore a healthy look to your face. It is important to use products based solely on glycerin.
  5. Cosgard / Geogard. One of the safest preservatives that can be used even in baby products. The very low content of this component allows the prepared water to be stored for a long time. If you abandon the preservative, the bacteria will multiply rapidly, and the product will become unusable after 7-10 days.
  6. Distilled water. The purest possible liquid is needed in order not to transfer new bacteria to the skin. If it is not possible to use this, then you can prepare a micellar based on boiled water.
