Gifts for the Defender of the Fatherland Day are a special topic. Every woman tries not only to surprise a man, but to make the present as useful as possible. Handmade soap by February 23rd would be a great solution. It will not be difficult to create it with your own hands. The main thing is to decide on the form and follow the instructions presented step by step.

Creative ideas

Naturally, soap is an indispensable product in every person's daily life. But, giving it on a men's holiday, it is necessary to take into account the individual characteristics of the strong half. For example, if your defender plays sports, he will be delighted with soap in the form of a kettlebell or a ball. A man-leader will be pleased to receive a soap badge with the words boss or vip. In addition, it will be relevant to give him a useful present in the form of a dollar.

An avid race car driver will love the car or its individual parts (for example, the steering wheel). And also, if you wish, you can create a whole thematic men's set for the holiday. Note that, after all, February 23 is the day of the defender of the Fatherland, so all men, without exception, will be delighted with soap in the shape of a star, shoulder straps, the Russian flag, weapons and even a tank. Interesting options for handmade soap gifts for February 23 are presented in the photo.

How to do it?

To create an original and necessary gift for a man, you will need:

  • soap base (transparent, white);
  • dyes (various colors);
  • flavoring (essential oils are great);
  • a small plastic container and a wooden stirring stick;
  • alcohol;
  • Silicone molds;
  • nacre;
  • a set of brushes and an eyedropper.

Step by step execution:

  • melt the soap base in the microwave and pour it into a clean container;
  • add red dye and flavor, stir thoroughly;
  • fill the mass of the silicone star shape with the inscription (for example, "defender of the Fatherland");
  • let it freeze and take it out of the mold;
  • turn the soap over and apply mother-of-pearl to the letters with a brush.

Thus, we get a red star from soap with a gilded effect.

    If you have an unprinted form available, you can use water soluble paper. It is easy to buy at a store that has soap products in stock.

    When creating a gift, we do the following:

    • we take a silicone triangular shape and fill in a small layer of melted transparent base;
    • let dry and cover with a little alcohol;
    • again pour a thin layer of the base and immerse in it a water-soluble picture with congratulations by February 23;
    • when the mass hardens, sprinkle it with alcohol and fill it with a white base;
    • next comes the final color layer (orange, green and blue);
    • we remove the frozen soap from the mold and pack it in a beautiful wrapper.

    A gift item can be not only monochromatic. For example, you can make a multi-colored tank.

    • Melt the liquid base one at a time, add the flavoring and distribute in three cups. Add green dye to the first one, paint the second mass orange, and the third color should be yellow.
    • We take the silicone form of the tank and use the pipette to create small spots with green and orange colors. They can be sloppy and asymmetrical as we try to make the tank look old-fashioned. Let the stains cool and sprinkle with alcohol.
    • Next, create yellow circles and wait for them to solidify. We cover them with alcohol and completely fill the mold with a base with a green dye.
    • We are waiting for the product to dry and release it from the mold.

    A similar present can be wrapped in cellophane.

    Soap making recommendations

    The process of creating a gift with your own hands implies certain rules and nuances. Handmade soap will turn out nice and neat if you pay attention to some tips.

    • The soap base must be taken more than the desired volume. Otherwise, the product may end up incomplete.
    • Before pouring, the silicone mold must be greased with vegetable oil.
    • Place the soap figurine in the freezer for 30 minutes before removing it from the mold. The product will become smaller and can be easily released from the mold.
    • For colored soaps, do not use multiple fragrances. Otherwise, this combination can lead to the creation of an unpleasant odor.
    • Before pouring on the next layer of base, make sure that the previous one is frozen.
    • Essential oils will help to add a pleasant aroma to the gift. It is not recommended to take toilet water for such purposes.
    • Dyes can be liquid or dry (powder). An excellent solution would be natural (beet juice, sea buckthorn oil and various herbs).
    • In addition to special silicone molds, use other containers with a relief pattern (for example, yogurt cups).

    Any kind of packaging is relevant for self-made soap. You can stick tags on it, where the composition will be described in detail, what properties the soap has.

    The shelf life of a natural product made with your own hands is 1–2 months.
