Handmade natural soap
Soap is considered to be natural if it is made without the use of fat substitutes, artificial colors and flavors, only natural ingredients are used. Therefore, this soap is suitable for all skin types and even for children.
Peculiarities
The advantage of this soap is that you can add medicinal ingredients to it, for example, cosmetic oils, which increase the benefits of the product. You can buy them at the pharmacy. Such a soap with your own hands at home can be made "from scratch" - using a natural soap base, oils, refined fats, natural dyes... When you yourself are engaged in soap making, you know completely the whole process of its preparation and therefore you are sure that no harmful additives are included in the soap, unlike a store product.
What are the ingredients?
The following ingredients are used in the composition of natural soap.
- Soap base. You can buy it in a specialized store or make it yourself from baby soap.
- Essential oils... They are used to give the desired flavor to the final product. It is necessary to select this ingredient individually so that it does not cause allergies and unwanted reactions. To prevent the concentrated ingredient from causing irritation on the skin, it is enough to add a couple of drops, no more.
- Base oils. The main component of natural soap. The oils nourish your skin with vitamins and other beneficial ingredients that will cleanse and moisturize it. Most often they use burdock, coconut, castor, olive oil.
- Dyes... It is best to use natural dyes.To have more benefit, and they certainly will not cause potential harm.
- Scenery... To decorate the product, you can use various dry flowers, cinnamon sticks, decorations, and if you add ground coffee, sugar, then the soap will act as a scrub. Dried herbs will give the final product an unusual look and beneficial properties.
- Various additives. You can add not only any essential oils for aroma to the soap, but also flower petals, pharmaceutical herbs, oatmeal flakes, orange, lemon and coconut flakes, honey and much more tasty and healthy. It is not recommended to add berries and fruits, as they will deteriorate over time, as a result, the soap will quickly become unusable.
Variants
Each base oil has its own health benefits. Now we will consider the most common oils and tell you what types of skin they are suitable for.
- Almond: Suitable for all skin types. Moisturizes the skin, nourishes with vitamins, tidies up the work of the sebaceous glands.

How to make it yourself?
To cook natural handmade soap, you must strictly follow the following points, then you will not have any problems with the process. What is required for this:
- soap base (white and transparent) or baby soap;
- base oils;
- essential oils;
- natural dyes;
- various additives;
- Scenery;
- container for melting MO;
- a stick to interfere with the base (also suitable from sushi);
- mold for curing soap.
The recipe looks like this. To begin with, we take the base, chop it finely, melt it in a water bath or in a microwave oven. Then pour in oil (olive, burdock, coconut). Stir well with a wooden stick, no lumps should be allowed... Next, we add essential oil, dye, additional additives (ground coffee, salt, sugar, oatmeal) and decorations.
Mix everything thoroughly again. And before pouring everything into a mold, it should be treated with alcohol, and only then pour the composition. Then we put everything in the refrigerator. We take it out when the soap has completely hardened, and use it as directed.
