• Traditional... The method involves the complete embroidery of each cross separately - first, create two stitches in one square of the canvas, and then move on to the next one on the wrong side.
• Simple diagonal (Danish method). Creating a row of diagonal stitches - first sew the first side of all crosses in the row, and then work back from end to beginning, creating the second side with diagonal stitches. Both vertical and horizontal rows can be sewn using this method.
• Skip stitches... Usually it is performed in the "simple diagonal" technique where you need to leave a gap. To do this, the thread is passed crosswise along the seamy side. The maximum size of a pass is two canvas cells.
