Tinsel wall decorations are very important and promising. Knowing how beautiful it is to hang tinsel in the shape of a snowman, how to make a bell and a snowflake on the wall for the New Year with your own hands, you can spend the holiday more pleasantly. But the available variety of shapes does not end there - it is imperative to study other options.

Creating a Christmas tree

Preparing a tinsel wall decoration for the New Year is a much more pleasant decision than it usually seems. Thus, you can make the most creative and original design compositions. The size of the decorative Christmas tree varies greatly. Consider:

  • room dimensions;

  • available amount of materials;

  • time that can be spent on homemade products.

The symmetry of homemade jewelry is best achieved if you do it not alone, but with a partner.

For work you will need:

  • 3-meter or 4-meter tinsel;

  • regular slate pencil (simplifying the markup);

  • fasteners.

You can fix the tinsel to the wallpaper using safety pins or ordinary sewing needles. In other cases, various types of scotch tape or contact paper are used. And other mounts are also suitable:

  • buttons (tinsel is wound on their contour);

  • steel hangers;

  • self-adhesive hooks;

  • cable platforms.

It doesn't matter if you create a tree with or without balls, the technique is about the same. First of all, they determine on which wall the composition will be hung. Then it is marked out. Tinsel is attached starting from the top of the figure. They work carefully, excluding any sagging and carefully following the markings.

The type of tinsel for creating a spruce is chosen at your discretion. Green and blue monochromatic models look equally good.In this case, it is advisable to use fluffy material. A very good option is a tree of the same color with silver ends of the "needles". This is an optimal imitation of snow or frost.

How to make a wreath?

This is also a great way to decorate your wall before the New Years. The frame base of wreaths is more profitable not to buy, but to do it yourself. For her, take paper, durable fabric or wire. A good option is a festive wreath based on tinsel, thick cardboard and Christmas balls.

You just need to make sure that the decorative details are clearly combined in colors and visually complement each other.

The stages are as follows:

  • cut out a cardboard bagel (choose its size yourself);

  • place Christmas tree decorations and other decorations as they like best;

  • attach the parts to tape;

  • fix the tip of the tinsel behind the donut - again with scotch tape;

  • Tinsel is wound around the entire prepared product in a circle;

  • make two more such windings, only with tinsel of a different color;

  • fix the ends with each winding;

  • additionally decorate the product with a golden lace or silver rain.

There is also an alternative option. Begin by rolling a newspaper into a tube and making a ring. Wrapping with additional sheets will help to increase its strength. The ends of the newspaper should be glued together. Further:

  • paper napkins are wound around the ring;

  • an organza is wound over them, attached with glue;

  • the end of the tinsel is attached over the base;

  • wind it on the whole ring;

  • reattach the tip of the tinsel;

  • decorate the composition at your own discretion.

How else can you hang the tinsel beautifully?

snowman

Making this figure with your own hands is very simple. For work, you need a VVG 2x4 cable. Isolation is removed from it; how much depends on the height of the snowman. Three cable circles of different diameters are tied with tape, a bucket is glued on if desired, and handles with a broom are added. Multicolored tinsel is wound on top of the figure.

Bell

Almost everyone likes this version of the New Year's composition in the room. Its creation is very simple:

  • create 2 or 3 bells from the ribbon;
  • an elegant bow is tied;
  • stretching out tinsel;
  • stick it on;
  • complement the composition with Christmas tree decorations.

Snowflake

Such a seemingly simple design element sometimes looks better and more interesting than decorating a room for the New Year with themed pictures. Subsequence:

  • fold the stripes in the manner of a cross;

  • wrap them around each other;

  • do it in a circle until they get 8 rays;

  • prepare the tips;

  • move away from the middle and prepare a new circle;

  • wind all the rays in this circle;

  • make another circle and complete it;

  • trim the excess with scissors if necessary.

Star

This symbol of the New Year's celebration from tinsel is created in just 10-15 minutes. It is better to take a metal hanger as a basis. In it, unlike a simple wire, there is even a hook right away for fixing the craft. First make a wire star; tinsel is already wound on it, fixed with tape. Wrapping it with fishing line or rain will help to keep the winding firmly.

Watch

They embody a similar plan like this:

  • cut out a cardboard circle;

  • glue white paper on it with PVA glue;

  • a smaller foam circle is glued in the middle;

  • print any photographs or drawings with a clock on a printer;

  • paste over the workpiece with tinsel using a thermal gun (while doing this, carefully monitor the numbers so that the numbers remain clearly visible);

  • cut out a cardboard pendulum;

  • glue a golden self-adhesive film on it;

  • add figures at will;

  • surround the composition with blue tinsel;

  • crown it with a New Year's cap;

  • add other details to taste.

Father Frost

Whatever figures you try to hang, whatever patterns you use, without the main New Year's character it will seem that something is missing. Santa Claus is prepared like this:

  • cut out wallpaper blanks for the body and sleeves (the hands themselves will not be visible anyway, and you can skip them);

  • make blanks for the eyes, cheeks, nose and mouth;

  • form wallpaper rolls;

  • cut into strips 5 mm wide;

  • glued to a rectangular base of a part of the face;

  • put a beard, eyebrows and mustache;

  • glue the face to the body (not forgetting about the reserve space for the cap);

  • glue tinsel to the body with a body;

  • attach the sleeves;

  • form the collar of the fur coat;

  • gluing a wallpaper rectangle "cap";

  • complement the headdress, again, with tinsel.

But on this, of course, the possible options and ideas for preparing for the holiday do not end there. You can also do:

  • New Year's frame;

  • deer;

  • improvised Christmas balls.
