  • Scuffs on clothing can be removed with the all-purpose brush. It is mainly used for cleaning clothes.Rigid bristles together with metal (brass) fibers are fixed on one side.
  • In the store you can find double models, in which one side is equipped with natural bristles, and on the other, a metal pile is mounted in the form of a narrow strip located in the middle.
  • Around the perimeter of the special combined suede brushes, there is a coarse natural bristle, in the center of which there is a metal wire. To clean the suede surface, all movements should be carried out against the pile. The brass wire will lift up the leather fluff. It will remove any, even very strong, dirt from the suede surface.
  • The crepe double brush is made in a length of 16–17 cm. This device is perfect for cleaning suede shoes. On one side there is a rubber strip in the form of a labyrinth. Natural rubber in the form of a strip is installed sideways. By its appearance, it resembles a dense bristle.
  • The rubber "triple" brush perfectly removes dust from the suede surface and evens out the pile. This device is able to simultaneously remove dust and even out the pile. The side ribs made of rubber make it possible to remove dirt from various places where it is very difficult to get: folds, sole joint, seams, small decorative elements.

Helpful hints

Every shoe owner dreams of always looking like new. To do this, you need to properly care for it, follow all the manufacturer's recommendations for servicing nubuck. Special means are of great help in cleaning the suede material.

Initial processing

Nubuck perfectly absorbs water. To prevent this from happening, after buying a new shoe, you must immediately treat it with special substances that will protect the suede from an aggressive environment: snow, water, dirt and salt. When the applied layer is completely dry, a thin invisible layer will form on the surface of the shoe. It will make the boots invulnerable in bad weather.

Shoe shine

Suede clothing and shoes require constant daily care. Regardless of the weather, after a walk, it is imperative to clean it, remove dust, various contaminants. First, the item is dried at room temperature. If this is not done, it will be impossible to remove the dirt. During cleaning, stains of dirt will only rub into the material.

Important! It is strictly forbidden to use a heating radiator for drying. The suede will become hard and rough.

Light dirt on suede can be removed with special brushes. Particularly strong contamination will help to remove a soap solution to which ammonia (5: 1) is added. The mixture is applied with a soft brush, then washed off with a sponge, wiped dry with a clean cloth. To get rid of shiny spots, just take a cotton swab after wetting it with ammonia.

Raising the pile

The weakest point of suede is its velvety. Dirt accumulates among a huge number of villi, a lot of dust settles. A rubber brush is used to raise the pile and give the material a velvety look.

The usual soft eraser also gives a positive effect.

Colour

To restore suede to its former beauty, aerosol restoring paint, which is applied to the surface of the shoe, comes in handy. After complete drying, the paint will completely restore the shade, as well as create a protective layer. When buying such a restorer, you need to try to choose a shade that is as close as possible to the "native" one. If it is very different, the paint will not lie very evenly.

The easiest way is to choose black. It is much more difficult to find the appropriate range of brown shoes, with colored ones even more difficult. Therefore, before dyeing, you should try to paint a small area inside the boot. If the result is positive, you can continue to update the color. To restore the color of suede, you can use folk methods. For example, coffee grounds are gently rubbed into brown shoes. When it dries, the particles are brushed off with a suede brush.

With proper care, suede clothing or shoes will always look beautiful and attractive.Special brushes and numerous protective equipment will help to keep its original appearance.
