How to fold origami as numbers?
Paper numbers are an excellent material for teaching children. In the process of folding the colored figures, the child learns different shapes. Parents can use finished crafts to teach their baby to count.
How to make a unit?
First you need to understand how to fold one using the origami technique. The process of creating a three-dimensional figure consists of the following steps.
-
First you need a narrow rectangle fold in half and then unfold.
-
After that, the upper and lower halves of the sheet must be bent to the middle.... Next, each part must be folded in half again. This is done in order to divide the sheet into thin strips of equal width.
-
The resulting accordion must be expanded and folded in half.... Further, all the previous steps must be repeated, dividing the sheet into an even greater number of separate segments.
-
After that, the top of the sheet needs bend gently.
-
The workpiece must be turned with the wide side towards you, and then assemble into an accordion.
-
Next, you need to form the upper part of the paper unit. To do this, part of the upper strip must be carefully pulled out of the base.
-
After that, the accordion must be bent in the middle.... The lower part of the sheet must be carefully straightened, and then put back together, forming a kind of fan.
-
Next, you need to deploy it again. The lower part of the sheet must be folded towards the base. Then, bending the free part of the sheet in half, you need to assemble the base of the unit from it.
The figurine is stable and original.
Folding two
Before creating a deuce, the sheet of paper must be divided into segments according to the step-by-step scheme described earlier. Having folded it into a thin accordion, you can proceed to further actions.
-
The upper part of the thin strip must be carefully folded. Having unfolded the figure, it is necessary to carefully bend the corners of the accordion inward.
-
After that, the edge of the upper part of the figure in the same way you need to bend down.
-
Expanding the top of the sheet, you need to carefully bend its edges and reassemble the figure along the outlined lines.
-
Next, the base must be bent again.... The fold should be just above the middle of the strip. This part of the sheet must also be collected with an accordion.
-
The same fold is made exactly under the edge of the upper part of the "hook". After that, stepping back a few centimeters, you need to make the last fold. All lines must be ironed well.
With a little practice, the child will easily make such figures without losing interest in the creative process.
Assembly diagrams of other numbers
You can also make volumetric figures with your own hands using the modular origami technique. First, you need to prepare the required number of small triangular modules from colored paper. To do this, an A4 sheet is cut into small rectangles of the same size. After that, modules are formed from them. This process is as follows.
-
The sheet must be folded in half. To outline the fold line, fold the narrow workpiece again and unfold it back.
-
Further side parts lift up.
-
The leaf is turned over. The lower part is folded up. The free corners are folded over the edges of the triangle.
- The lower part is taken away from the base, and then fold back so that the corners are already under the strip.
This figure can only be bent in half and used in work. It is very simple to make various numbers from such blanks. The individual modules are simply plugged into each other. After that, the long strips are folded in the desired direction. The individual edges are very easy to join together if necessary. Thus, you can make 8, 3, 5 and other, simpler numbers.
Ready-made figurines can also be used to decorate a children's room for a birthday.
