For kids
Works for children are distinguished by their simplicity. Kids make them with their own hands with pleasure.
- Dog. It is very easy to make such a figurine using the origami technique. To begin with, a square sheet of paper is folded in half. Next, do the same with the resulting triangle. Sharp corners are gently lowered down. The lower edge of the triangle is raised.
The finished figurine can be additionally decorated with painted eyes and a nose.
- Cat. The step-by-step process of creating a cute paper cat also looks very simple. The square is bent in half. Do the same with a triangle. The bottom corners of the fake are folded up. The action is repeated with the upper part of the figure. After that, the craft is turned over and the eyes, nose and whiskers of the animal are drawn on the front of the muzzle.
This is best done with a black felt-tip pen.
- Chanterelle. A cute chanterelle made of double-sided yellow paper also looks interesting. To create it, a small rectangle is bent in half twice. The edges of the resulting triangle are folded to its top. Next, the figure is folded in half. One of the edges of the part is carefully brought to the middle. A muzzle with ears is formed from this part. The second half of the figure is also folded. This way it turns out to create a neat chanterelle tail.
- Penguin. The step-by-step process for creating such a cute penguin looks very simple. Even a preschooler can do it. The square is folded in half twice.Its lower part is gently raised. The corner is then folded over. Turning the figure over, its side edges are brought to the center. Thin stripes pull back. Then the craft is turned over. The upper part of the figure is folded back.
The finished craft can be decorated with eyes purchased in a creative store.
- Tulip. Such a beautiful flower can be presented to mom, grandmother or teacher. Fold the red square in half to create the bud. The edges of the triangle must be folded towards the middle. The bottom sharp corner is also raised. Having finished with the bud, you need to create a stem with a leaf. To do this, the square is bent and unfolded. The edges are folded inward. Next, the craft is folded in half. The lower part is raised, forming a leaf. After that, the two parts are connected together. No glue is needed for this. They are already well attached to each other.
- Ice cream. A child can easily make even furniture and food for dolls from colored paper. A great option for such a craft is beautiful ice cream. First you need to make the white part of it. To do this, the square is bent in half. Then the side parts are folded towards the center. Sharp corners are taken to the side. The protruding parts are led behind the back side of the ice cream cone. Having turned the workpiece, the upper parts of the triangle are bent to the center. Further, the white part is bent several times, forming a beautiful horn.
The craft is turned. The front of the horn is decorated with a waffle print.
- Airplane. A great craft option for children is an airplane made from single-sided paper. To begin with, a sheet of paper is folded in half. Further, its upper corners are bent to the middle. Then the wide edges of the craft are carefully folded over. The sharp corner is also folded inward. The wings of the plane are lowered. Then they are raised, making the figurine more stable.
- Mill. Lovers of simple paper toys can make a boomerang, a parachute, or even a windmill out of paper. To create the last from a rectangular sheet of paper, you need to cut an even square. Then it needs to be folded in half. Its edges must be folded towards the center. Further, the upper and lower parts of the blank are also folded towards the middle. Having outlined all the necessary lines, the figure is unfurled. The bottom strip is raised, bending the sharp corners outward. The same is done with the upper part of the figure. Next, the workpiece is carefully bent and folded in half. After that, its edges are folded in the desired direction.
The finished part is attached to a wooden tube or straw.
With their own hands, kids can easily create figurines of a hamster, seal, hedgehog and other simple animals.
For adults
Adults also like to create beautiful crafts with their own hands. They tend to choose more complex and interesting schemes to work with.
One of the interesting options is a paper heart. This craft will be a great gift for Valentine's Day. A step-by-step master class on its creation consists of the following steps:
- first you need to take a small square and fold it in half twice;
- having outlined all the necessary lines, the craft must be expanded;
- then this procedure must be repeated again, outlining two additional lines;
- having unfolded the square, it must be turned with an acute angle towards you;
- the corners must be carefully bent inward;
- with one easy movement you need to form a double rhombus;
- the corner of the top sheet must be carefully folded;
- the edges of the sharp corners, which are located on top, must be bent back;
- the two sharp parts of the upper triangle are also folded neatly.
The figurine turns out to be very cute. You can put a small note inside such a craft.
You can also create beautiful masks or Christmas tree decorations from paper. From this material, cute angels, voluminous snowflakes and animals are obtained.
Modular origami means creating figures from paper modules. Before starting work, you need to learn how to make those same modules with your own hands. The instructions for creating them are as follows.
- To begin with, a sheet of paper must be cut into several small rectangles of the same size.
- The sheet must be folded in half. Then this narrow strip is folded again.
- Then it is carefully unfold. The corners of the sheet are folded. They should extend slightly beyond the edges of the triangle.
- Having turned the figure, the lower part of the workpiece must be raised up.
- Further, the corners of the craft are also neatly folded.
- Having turned the figure, they must be hidden inside.
- Then the strip must be bent again and raised to the base of the triangle. The resulting triangle is bent in half.
It is very convenient to work with such modules. They easily connect to each other. Many different products can be made from them.
Rat
An excellent version of a craft made using the modular origami technique is a rat figurine. The step-by-step process for creating it is as follows.
- To begin with, 6 white modules are connected to each other, forming a small circle. The long ends should point from the center to the sides.
- Further, one more module is put on each part.
- Rows 3 through 12 are filled with 12 modules.
- Forming row 13, the parts are inserted into the base with the opposite end.
- Next, you need to form a few more rows, inserting the parts with the long end outward. In the last two rows, each new module is put on three ends of parts from the previous row. This is done to give the rat a sharp nose.
- Having finished with the body, you can proceed to the design of the rat's head. To do this, take two brown triangles. They are fixed on the head of a rat. They should be located opposite each other.
- Front and hind legs are assembled from two brown parts. They are attached to the body of the rat. For reliability, these parts are fixed with glue.
- Next, you need to collect the rat's tail. It doesn't take long. Individual parts are inserted into each other. After that, the chain is carefully bent in a semicircle. The tail is attached to the back of the figurine.
The finished craft must be decorated with neat eyes and a nose. They are also made from paper.
Phone stand
Such a craft, made using the modular origami technique, turns out to be not only beautiful, but also useful. To create a functional stand, modules of two colors are usually used.
- First you need to collect two circles of 20 modules. They are made from parts of different colors. Then these blanks are connected together.
- The third row consists of 19 modules of the same color and one bright detail.
- In the fourth row, the number of bright details is increased to two.
- Next, the workpiece is gently bent, giving it the shape of a bowl.
- The stand is turned over and supplemented with a zero row of modules. This time, they are joined by the short side face up. This makes the stand more stable.
- The fifth row consists of two red modules and 17 green modules. In the sixth, the number of green modules is reduced by one.
- The seventh row consists of three red and 14 green parts. They alternate with each other.
- In the eighth row, 4 red modules and 12 green ones are inserted.
- The ninth row is created, continuing to form a heart. First, add a red detail, then 5 green ones, then another 1 red one. Then one pass is made. After that, everyone repeats.
- The tenth row is formed according to the same principle. But on each side, 4 green parts are already attached. There are two passes in the middle. In row 11, the number of green parts is reduced to six. There are three passes. In the 12th and 13th row, 4 and 2 parts are added, respectively.
- The fourteenth row is made red. Two details are added on both sides.
