How to make origami in the form of a whale?
The origami technique allows you to make original and beautiful paper products with your own hands. Such a craft in the form of a whale looks unusual. Today we will talk about how you can make such a decorative figurine yourself.
Simple models
You should start with the simplest options that will work for children.
-
First, a square sheet of paper is prepared. Most often, such a base is simply cut out from a regular A4 sheet. After that, the material is placed with its top towards itself.
-
Next, the workpiece is folded in half along a diagonal line from top to bottom. It all unfolds.
-
The sides that are adjacent to the right corner fold towards the middle.
-
The corner on the left folds to the edge of the folded pieces.
-
Later, the workpiece is folded in the "valley". The fold is placed at the top.
-
The corner on the right is neatly folded up. The whale's tail is formed with the help of the outer fold.
-
At the final stage, draw the animal's eyes with a black felt-tip pen or gel pen.
Let's analyze another simple step-by-step master class for making such an origami craft.
-
To begin with, prepare a square blank. In this case, it is best to take single-sided paper, in which one side will be white, and the other - blue or light blue.
-
After that, the square is carefully folded so that the end result is a triangle, that is, it will be necessary to connect the opposite corners to each other.
-
Then the paper is opened, the lower side is folded, while slightly aligning it along the fold in the middle.
-
The material is turned over to the opposite side. Then the bottom edge is folded over.
-
The upper part is aligned with the central part, it also folds down.
-
On the top left, small folds are formed in the corners.
-
The paper blank is turned over. The whale's tail is folded up.At the final stage, using a dark felt-tip pen, the whale's eyes are drawn.
They can also be cut out of black and white paper, if desired, and then glued onto the finished product.
There is another easy way to create this craft yourself.
-
A square paper sheet is folded diagonally across the strip and then unfolded. Mark the center line.
-
After that, the two sides of the square product are folded to the marked center line, resulting in a basic kite shape.
-
The corner is bent down from above. The figure folds in half lengthwise.
-
Next, the whale's tail is gently folded back. The tail is turned inside out along the marked fold.
-
After that, using scissors, you will need to cut the tail and separate its halves in different directions.
-
At the final stage, the whale's eyes are completed with a felt-tip pen or pencil. And you can also additionally decorate the finished paper craft.
Complicated options
Now we will look at more complex schemes for creating an origami whale.
-
A square-shaped paper base is prepared. Its opposite corners are aligned and diagonal lines are marked.
-
After that, the figure is returned to its original position.
-
The lower and upper corners are folded to the diagonal strip.
-
Then the product is turned over to the other side.
-
Next, the left and right corners are connected to each other.
-
The product turns over again.
-
The edges are folded towards the center strip. The paper blank is opened.
-
A formed pocket expands inside. After that, it stretches a little.
-
The pocket is later flattened. The same actions are carried out with the second half.
-
The back opens forward. The result should be a standard fish shape.
-
Then the paper blank is turned over again. The corner on the right is bent to the middle. The material is placed face up again.
-
The product is bent in half "mountain". The workpiece is placed with its open edge forward.
-
A fold is made on the front side on the left, and it is also created on the back side.
-
Next, the tail is formed. To do this, the part on the left is folded up. The same operation is carried out from oneself.
-
With the help of the reverse fold, the tail of the animal is raised.
Let's analyze one more detailed instructions for making such a whale.
-
At the initial stage, the basic "double square" shape is folded. Then they move on to the complicated "bird" figure.
-
Work begins with the layer closest to you. The edges of both the left and right folds towards the center.
-
Further, the resulting fold is neatly revealed. The end from the bottom of the figure rises, and the top corner bends down.
-
The sides are pressed in.
-
All the steps taken are also repeated on the back of the paper blank.
-
The material is turned towards itself with a forked part. The ends are spread apart.
-
The extreme points on the right are connected to each other. At the same time, the fold line is smoothed well. Then it all unfolds back. A small indent is made, and a second fold is formed.
-
The tip on the right is led into the inside of the material.
-
The large valve must be lowered to the bottom. The same manipulations are carried out with the reverse part.
-
The material will need to be folded in a "mountain".
-
The side on the right folds and then unfolds. Then this part will fold again, but already before the fold formed earlier.
-
The tip of the product is gently pulled out.
-
The corner from the bottom is folded into a "valley". The corner from above is folded in a "mountain".
-
The whale's muzzle is bent inward. Further, in the lower part, a fold is made with a "valley", a bend is formed symmetrically in the other direction.
-
The formed fins are pulled down.
Creation of modular origami
And it is also worth considering in more detail how to correctly make such a paper craft from individual modules.
- At the initial stage, you should prepare the modules themselves. You will need to make 56 blue large elements, 1 blue element a little smaller and 8 blue parts even less. And it is also better to immediately prepare the adhesive composition.
After all the necessary blanks are prepared, they begin to manufacture.
- The big parts come in first. The first level of the product is formed from 4 elements, the second level from 5, and the third level from 6.
- The fourth tier is made of 7 modules.
- For the fifth row, 6 elements are used. The sixth tier is made of 7 parts, the fifth - from 6, the seventh - from 6, the eighth - from 5, the ninth - from 4, the tenth - from 3, two subsequent rows - from 2 and 1 module. In order for all parts to be securely fixed, you must additionally glue them.
- Later they take a smaller module, cut it in half. The parts are glued to each other. The resulting part is inserted into the tail of the animal.
If necessary, the protruding elements can be trimmed slightly with scissors. You can also use glue.
- One small module is inserted between 8 and 7 tiers. In this case, you must leave one corner free.
- After that, the whale's eyes are drawn. They are often cut out of white and black paper.
- Then white paper modules are taken. They fold in the form of a snake. The finished part is carefully fixed between 5 and 4 levels in the craft.
