How to make origami in the form of a ring?

Using the origami technique, you can make almost any thing, even a jewelry in the form of a ring. It can be presented as a gift or simply made for yourself. There is a scheme for a regular decoration, and there is an even more improved version - a ring with a heart.

You should start with a simple option. To make such a paper ring, you will need a minimum set of materials: paper, PVA glue and rhinestones (for decoration). Before starting the manufacturing process, you need to decide on the size of the future jewelry (the indicator depends on the thickness of the finger). After the size is determined, you can start manufacturing. An assembly diagram of a conventional ring is shown in the figure.

The work is carried out in several stages:

1. it is necessary to prepare a strip of paper of the selected color, equal to three values ​​of the width of the decoration being made (length is an individual indicator);
2. the strip must be folded in half along, and then bend two sides to the center line;
3. then the strip must be folded in half, and bend the triangle on one side - this is a blank for the future lock;
4. now the ends must be bent and fixed (if desired, PVA glue can be used for this purpose).

If you want to make a decor, then you can glue one or more rhinestones.

Making an origami ring with a heart-shaped decoration is difficult, but possible. For crafts, it is recommended to choose two-color A4 paper: red or pink for the heart, and silver or gold foil for the bezel.In this case, it is also necessary to determine the diameter of the future ring, adding another 1.5 cm to the calculated length. This so-called additive will be used to create a lock.

The jewelry making process consists of several stages.

1. You need to take a square sheet of paper and, by folding, divide it into 8 identical strips. But you don't need to cut them.
2. Further, across these strips, you need to make a central bend. As a result of these actions, the sheet of paper should be divided into 16 equal rectangles.
3. Now the sheet of paper with the colored side must be placed on the table. Fold up the top strip first, and then both top triangles as shown in the figure.
4. At this stage, the sheet again needs to be turned over and the corner bend so that its spout reaches the third strip.
5. Turn the paper over again to create the hinge and base fold.
6. Then the valves must be folded down. Fold the strip to the third bend. Insert the ends into each other, fasten well and straighten the craft if necessary.
