There are so many different schemes for modeling origami in the form of a panda. Such crafts can be made by both experienced and novice craftsmen of all ages. The figurine can be either flat or three-dimensional. In this article, we will understand in detail how to correctly make origami in the form of a panda.

The simplest scheme

It is recommended to master the Japanese papermaking technique from simple and uncomplicated schemes. Only after that is it worth moving on to complex options. Basic modeling schemes are perfect even for young children.

The simplest origami panda can be made in just a few steps. With the manufacture of such a figurine, a young origamist from 5 years old can easily cope with it. This craft will be of particular interest to children who are fans of the game "Panda in Japan", as it is performed in a similar style.

  • To make the simplest Panda figurine in Japanese technique, you will need to prepare a square of colored paper, one side of which is black and the other is white. It is desirable that the material has dimensional parameters 15x15 cm.
  • Selected square of paper should be positioned on the work surface so that its white side is facing up. After that, the product must be folded diagonally and then opened.
  • Cornerslocated on both the right and left sides will need to be folded by about 1/4.
  • Top half the workpiece must be folded in such a way that it is directed to the back.
  • Side sides the product will need to be neatly and slightly bent.
  • The lower point of the product must be raised approximately to the center line of the workpiece. This will be the nose of the paper panda.
  • The top layer of the triangular base will need to be laid inward. This will open the seamy side in black.At the end of the creative work, it remains only to depict eyes on the face of a black and white bear.

A funny and cute paper craft is ready. It will only take a few minutes to model it.

Creation of modular origami

Modular origami figures are much more difficult to assemble. They are made from pre-prepared triangular elements - modules.

Their number directly depends on the size of the future paper craft.

Ready-made modular components are fastened to each other according to a certain algorithm, eventually forming an integral structure.

The original modular bear can be modeled with the following components:

  • green colored paper, from which sprigs for the panda will be made;
  • ready-made eyes made of plastic;
  • a small pompom - this will be a spout with a suitable diameter of 1 cm;
  • high density black paper - the ears and legs of a modular panda will be cut from it;
  • PVA glue.

To assemble a modular panda figurine, the master will need to prepare the following necessary paper elements:

  • 410 modules made of white paper;
  • 136 modular components in black;
  • 12 green elements.

Let's analyze the step-by-step instructions for assembling a modular panda with our own hands.

  • It is necessary to collect such an interesting and complex figure from the bottom up. You should immediately collect 3 starting rows of the structure. Each of the crowns should contain 26 white modules.
  • At the next stage, the formed rounded structure will need to be turned out very carefully so that in the end the figure begins to resemble a plate, where the 1st row is the bottom.
  • For modeling the 4th, 5th and 6th rows, the master will need to take 26 white modules.
  • Further, the structure should be assembled in accordance with the diagram. You will need to shape the walls of the panda's torso. To do this, you must very carefully press on the modular components from the inside, as if squeezing them out.
  • The 7th row will also be assembled from 26 snow-white modules.
  • On the 8th and 9th rows, you will need 26 more white modules.
  • Now you need to collect the 10th crown. It should use 26 modular components in black.
  • The same filling should be in the 11th and 12th rows of the structure.
  • In the 13th row, 26 black modules must also be fixed.
  • You will need to place the modular parts, exposing them with sharp angles inward and straight outward.
  • In the 14th and 15th rows, you need to install 26 white modular elements each.
  • The modules should be installed so that they are fixed with an acute angle outward, and with a straight angle - inward.
  • The craft must continue to be assembled in accordance with the diagram.
  • The last will be 21 rows. The master should fix 26 white modules in it.
  • The head of the paper panda will need to be rounded. It will be necessary to bring the modular components together in the final crown as close as possible.
  • From thick black paper, you will need to very carefully cut the legs and ears for a modular figure.
  • The resulting details must be glued to the figure of a paper panda.
  • At the final stage, it is necessary to glue eyes and a pompom, which plays the role of a nose, on the face of a black and white bear.
  • From the green modules, in accordance with the diagram, it will be necessary to collect a bamboo branch. You will need to glue it to the foot of the finished craft.

More ideas

The panda's face is very beautiful and original, made in accordance with Seth Friedman's scheme.

To form such a craft, you should practice making folds called "squash".

For work, you need a piece of paper 15x15 cm in size.On one side, the leaf should be white, on the other - black.

We will learn how to correctly model such an origami figure.

  • From the very beginning, the paper sheet must be placed on the work surface with the white side up. The corners at the top are folded towards the middle.
  • The product is turned over. The edges on the sides are bent to the middle.
  • The triangular flaps of the workpiece need to be straightened out.As a result, rhombuses should form.
  • The corner located at the top of the workpiece will need to be lowered to the central part of the product. The lower elements on the side are folded at an angle of 45 degrees.
  • The elements are lifted and aligned with the center axis.
  • The fold on the left side is opened and straightened.
  • The same steps must be repeated on the right side of the workpiece.
  • The corners of the formed folds must be bent downwards.
  • The existing corners should be tucked very carefully into the center pocket.
  • The corner from the bottom now needs to be raised.
  • The formed triangle is bent to the right side, and then to the left.
  • A "diamond fold" should form in the middle of the item.
  • Next, the master will need to very carefully bend the valve along the formed lines on the product. The "diamond fold" must be closed, removing absolutely everything unnecessary in the structure.
  • The protruding part will need to be bent in both directions, and then folded in half.
  • Now "squash" will need to be opened and carefully straightened.
  • Half of the black layer is folded back to form the nose of the paper panda.
  • There are side corners in the upper part of the paper blank. They will need to be bent at an angle towards the central axis. After that, these parts are folded back in half.
  • The diamonds in the construction of the origami figurine will need to be opened from the inside, and then carefully straightened. At these stages, the master should act very carefully and carefully.
  • The ears of the paper gray-polar bear will need to be bent up.
  • At this stage, the head of the adorable panda will be completely ready. The body of a bear can be assembled according to a different scheme.

When the body of the panda is done, the origamist will only need to connect it together with the finished head of the animal. If you do everything clearly according to the instructions, the craft will turn out to be very effective and original.
