Origami in the form of a chamomile

Chamomile has long been considered a symbol of innocence, purity and sincerity. Today we will talk about how to make a chamomile out of paper using the origami technique, how the elements are assembled and fixed.

To create a summer mood or to decorate the interior, origami is used in the form of flowers. For small children, you can choose simple options for making models. A detailed master class will allow you to get an original product. The simplest option is considered to be a do-it-yourself design from paper strips.

The course of work will be as follows.

• Take a piece of paper and cut a square out of it. Place the resulting workpiece with the wrong side out. Then fold the top and bottom edges.
• Make a fold along the fold line, its height should be about 1 cm.
• Open the workpiece.
• Fold the shape in half, then fold the right and left edges towards the center.
• Make a fold again.
• Open the workpiece completely.
• Then you need to bend the edges at the top and bottom so that they are in the area of ​​the first fold marks.
• After that, the workpiece is cut using the transverse folding lines.
• Bending the edges back will make the strip narrow. The result is a pair of petals.
• After that, you need to start making three more elements. They are made in a similar way.
• The resulting strips-petals are glued together. In this case, the second part is glued to the first with the elements rotated by 90 degrees.

It remains to supplement the flower with a stem. It is made from a narrow green paper strip. The cut strip is divided into three parts in length, the lines are smoothed and the edges are glued. The finished stem is glued to the flower.

Modular designs are considered more complex to implement. Detailed instructions will allow you to complete the work step by step and build a craft from modules.

To complete the work, the master needs to have:

• double-sided paper, white and yellow;
• corrugated paper;
• cocktail tube;
• paper glue;
• scissors;
• Scotch.

The basis for future crafts will be a triangle-shaped module. It can be made from rectangular pieces of paper measuring 6 by 4 cm or using a sheet of A4 paper divided into 16 elements. To create one flower, 54 triangular yellow modules will be used, as well as white modules (81 pcs.)

Triangular module manufacturing scheme:

• you need to take a rectangle and bend it in half lengthwise;
• then you need to turn the sheet over and bend it across so that the middle is outlined;
• unbend the sheet;
• then you need to put the part with the fold up, in the form of a house;
• after that, the edges of the part are folded to the middle;
• actions are done from the front and from the seamy side;
• then the sheet is turned over;
• now it is necessary to bend the lower part upward, while the corners must be fixed behind the main triangle;
• after that you need to unbend the part from the bottom with corners;
• then fold the corners according to the lines, bend the upper part up;
• the resulting part is folded in half;
• evaluate the result of the work.

On one side, the module should have a pocket, it will be used in the process of assembling the product. The module is inspected and the long and short sides are selected. This is necessary, since during operation the modules will be fastened on one side. Having made the details, they begin to make a flower. To create the first three rows, elements of a yellow shade are used. When creating a flower with 7 petals for each row, you need to take 14 pieces, and for a flower with 8 petals, take 16 parts. To make the first row, you need to take 18 elements (yellow) and put them on the short side.

The second row consists of 18 elements of the same color, they are connected to the first row. In this case, the modules are exposed with the long side. It is necessary to fasten the tails of adjacent parts. When creating the third row, you need to connect the yellow paper modules (18 pcs.) With the second row. They should be on the long side. It is recommended to collect all 3 rows at once, otherwise the craft may simply fall apart in your hands. It is necessary to close the second and next row. This will create the yellow center of the chamomile.

For row 4, use white elements. Then they move on to the formation of the petals of the future craft. When creating petals, modules of white paper (7 pcs.) Are used, which are put on any two elements of the previous row.

Actions are performed in a certain scheme: 1,2,1,2,1. The rest of the petals are formed in the same way. The chamomile is ready.

It remains to supplement it with a stem made from a cocktail tube. A piece of yellow corrugated paper is wound around its tip. The stem itself is made green. At the bottom, paper is glued or fixed with tape, petals cut from paper are attached. The finished stem is inserted into the origami flower so that the sun tip is on top.

A voluminous chamomile model will look no less impressive. To make it yourself, you need to take A1 or A2 paper. It is advisable to choose a dense drawing paper, which allows the finished products to keep their shape well in the future. The basis for this design will be a “double square” model.

A workpiece measuring 15 by 15 cm is used as a sample. The size of the remaining parts of the flower will increase proportionally. To do the job correctly, follow the detailed instructions.

• It is necessary to take a square piece of paper with its top facing you. Fold it up, moving from bottom to top.
• The result is a triangle, it needs to be bent in half.
• Next, you need to open the right side and flatten it (according to the picture below).
• Turn the model over and do the same on the other side.
• Place the "double square" so that the free edges are on top. The outer corners located on the bottom must be folded towards the center.
• After that, you need to open the right side from the inside and flatten it.
• The same actions are carried out with the rest of the valves (7 pcs.)
• Next, you should close the workpiece from the left side to the right and repeat the same action on the back side.
• Then you need to lower the upper part of the triangle. It is important that the folds are well smoothed out. To uncover.
• At this stage, you need to form a convex triangular fold by connecting the indicated red and blue points. Partial folding of adjacent valves is performed.
• The triangle at the bottom must be bent in half vertically.
• After that, you need to open each petal.

At this stage, the blank in the form of a flower can be considered complete. It remains to complement it by attaching the stem.

It is done as follows.

• Take a sheet of green paper in the shape of a rectangle. Dimensions - 7.5x15 cm. Fold it vertically in half.
• Divide each half into 3 compartments.
• Fold the shape in accordance with the marked divisions and glue it together.

Now they begin to create a core for chamomile. The algorithm for performing the work is as follows.

• You need to take a one-sided yellow sheet measuring 5x5 cm and place it with the wrong side up.
• Then you need to bend the corners, moving towards the center. Do the same action again.
• Bend corners ¼.
• Turn the core over.
