Origami in the form of an airplane
The origami technique allows you to make beautiful paper figures with your own hands. It will be interesting to look at such a craft in the form of an airplane. Today we will look at some of the most popular options for creating such products.
Description
The origami airplane fake will appeal to both adults and children. These figures are quite simple to make. They can be made from special origami paper, from corrugated lightweight material.
Often, after assembly, finished paper crafts are painted to make them look more interesting and bright.
You can even make individual aircraft models for the collection out of paper.
How to fold?
Let's take a look at a few step-by-step instructions for making origami planes.
For beginners
To make a simple plane, follow these steps.
- Prepare a blank sheet of paper or cardboard in advance, and a simple white material will do. It is folded in half lengthwise.
- Further, the sheet unfolds. It is placed on the desktop with a house.
- Then the two corners from above are folded along the axial fold. As a result, you get two triangles, while the workpiece will look like the roof of a house.
- The outer corners of the roof are folded so that they meet in the middle of the sheet.
- The top folds up so that it is at the point where the edges meet.
- To get the wings of an airplane, you need to carefully fold the upper ribs towards the axial strip and straighten them 90 degrees. The same manipulations are repeated on the other side.
This simple master class is perfect for beginners and children. This easy craft can be used to design postcards for February 23rd.
Modular origami
This option is considered more difficult, so it may be suitable for those who already have experience in creating origami crafts.
- A large number of origami paper modules are pre-formed. They should be triangular. In total, you will need 83 pieces of 1/16 of the size of an A4 sheet, as well as 6 modules of 1/32 of the size of the same sheet. In this case, the color of the material can be any.
- When all the modules are ready, you can start assembling. The first row will consist of 2 elements, the second - of 3, the third - of 4, the fourth - of 3, the fifth - of 4.
- Next, the aircraft fuselage is formed. Its length can be any. To make such a detail, you need to alternately connect the rows of several triangular modules so that the figure takes on an oval shape.
- After that, the tail of the aircraft is made. For this, the triangular modules are interconnected in one plane. The parts just have to fit into each other.
- Later they start assembling the wings. In this case, you need to make two strips at once, each of them should consist of 12 paper modules.
- The finished wings are fixed in the middle with a module. It is recommended to carefully coat them with glue.
- Next, modules (1/32 of the sheet size) are inserted into the resulting wings. They will need to be placed at right angles.
- At the same time, two chassis are formed. They are also attached to the paper product. These parts can be additionally coated with glue to ensure better fixation.
- The wings are attached to the fuselage. The shape should be aligned a little. It must be stable.
- And also, if you wish, you can make a propeller separately. To do this, take paper of the same color. One thin small strip is cut out of it. In the middle, it is neatly bent. Then such a detail is attached to the nose of the finished aircraft using a needle.
Flapping wings
This paper craft is performed in several stages.
- Just a rectangular sheet of paper is taken. It must be folded in half, and then turned over in the opposite direction. It is best to fold the ends of the material towards the center fold.
- After that, from each side of the resulting accordion, they form the basis for the wings of the aircraft, for this they must be folded along diagonal lines.
- Further, the remaining parts of the accordion in front must be folded at right angles to the base.
- The workpiece is carefully unfolded, its front section is bent upward so that the nose can touch the straight line of the edge of the paper sheet.
- The edges at the base of the nose should be slightly bent towards the inside.
- Further, the nose is folded back and gently shifted to the opposite side.
- The body folds gently in half.
- Then the wings of the plane are formed, for this you need to retreat from the bend of about 1 centimeter.
Reactive plane
This folding scheme is carried out in several stages.
- A sheet of paper (color can be any) is folded in half, the same is done in the other direction.
- Bend lines are formed on the material, after which another line is formed, perpendicular to the first.
- Further, the material is folded crosswise. The workpiece is straightened. 16 squares of the same size are drawn on it. The sheet is turned over to the other side, and bent in the diagonal direction.
- Then the paper is laid vertically, with the top corner on the left folded towards the middle. The result should be a triangular shape.
- On this triangle, you need to impose another fold from the left edge. As a result, the second half of the triangle will be formed. At the end, the wings and tail are finalized so that they are not too angular.
Other craft ideas
Consider what other master classes exist for making such a paper plane.
Fighter
To make such a figure yourself, you need to follow these steps.
- A rectangular sheet of paper is taken, you can take any color. The material folds evenly along the center.
- The sheet unfolds, the upper left part is applied to the right part.
- Then the material unfolds again, and the same steps are repeated with the right side.
- The sheet is unfolded again, folded across in the place where the folds had previously crossed.
- A double triangle is formed at the top.
- The part under the triangular shape must be folded up in half, while the top layer is cut off.
- The corner on the right must be turned to the left.
- In the remaining part on the right, bend is made along the center line.
- The two upper corners are turned over to the right.
- The left side is bent along the center line.
- The corners at the top return to their original place.
- After that, the corner on the right is folded up in the center, and then folded down in half.
- The same steps are repeated with the left side.
- Both triangles are carefully turned to the left.
- On the upper triangular figure, bend towards the middle. Further, the triangle returns to its original place.
- The pointed tail is pulled out and the manipulations are repeated.
- The resulting tails are folded together.
- Both wings are folded obliquely in turn.
- Later, the tails are bent at an angle.
- Further, the inner folds are formed, the plane is folded along, the wings rise upward, at the end the finished fighter is straightened.
You can also make a beautiful airplane out of paper that can fly far and well.
- A rectangular sheet of paper is folded symmetrically along. The resulting fold line is carefully smoothed with your fingers, then the sheet is unfolded in the opposite direction.
- A triangle is formed at the top.
- On both sides, the material is again bent to the center, resulting in a sharp triangle.
- After that, the sheet is folded in the place where the fold point is.
- After that, the paper blank is unfolded and folded in the same way.
- The sides are folded towards the middle.
- Then the triangle folds forward again.
- The resulting product is again turned over to the other side, and folded again.
- The plane is folded in half. The upper section of the wings should also be slightly bent. Later, they are slightly spread so that the wings are finally formed.
Many people like to make an origami fire plane craft out of paper.
- A square sheet of paper is prepared. It is placed at an angle to itself, and then bent in half, while combining the upper and lower corners. Then the material unfolds.
- The square is folded in half so that the left and right corners are combined, the material is unrolled again. As a result, two diagonal lines appeared on the sheet, they should be well smoothed out with your hands.
- After that, a small incision is made from the upper corner along the vertical center line.
- The topsides are alternately bent towards the center horizontal line.
- The top folds down along the horizontal center strip.
- Further, the angle from the middle of the part is bent up to the middle of the upper side.
- The resulting triangular piece is folded in half.
- The corner on the right is folded down so that the upper part of the triangular figure lies on the left side.
- The part is turned over to the other side, the left corner is lowered, the corners at the bottom will have to match.
- The product is turned on the table so that the right angle is at the bottom right.
- Next, the wings of the aircraft are formed. To do this, bend the left inclined side down to the lower section of the triangle.
- The product is turned over to the other side.
- The right sloped side folds down to the lower side.
- It is better to decorate the finished airplane wings with small decorative stars with sparkles.
This master class will be perfect for preschoolers.
You can also make a small military plane out of paper with your own hands.
- It is best to choose paper with a print for military camouflage so that the finished product looks more original.
- After that, the basic shape of the origami "door" is formed.
- Further, the corners are bent from top to bottom.
- The workpiece is opened and then folded again in the same way twice.
- Then the wings of the future military aircraft are gently folded back. In this case, it is necessary to ensure that the wings open as wide as possible, but the paper does not break.
- The workpiece is folded in half in the center.
- Folds are made on the product to form a tail.
- The material is revealed. To make the fold lines as noticeable as possible, you can additionally highlight them using a dark marker.
- Next, the tail of the combat aircraft is taken for the center line, it is lifted up. At the final stage, the wings are slightly spread.
Next, let's look at how to make a do-it-yourself craft in the form of a "duck" airplane.
- First, a sheet of A4 paper is prepared. It is folded in half lengthwise and folded back.
- The leaf is folded again, but already in width, again opens back.
- One edge of the blank is folded in width and unfolded.
- The corners from above are aligned with the fold point that was obtained before.
- The top edge must be aligned with the side fold and turned back.
- All the same manipulations are repeated on the other side.
- The side parts are folded along the formed oblique lines.
- The central "pocket" is opened, for this you need to press the top down a little.
- The tongue of the "pocket" is folded back to the top.
- Then the small corners in the upper part are folded over.
- The duck is folded in half along the central longitudinal strip.
- The wings must then be unscrewed.
- The narrow triangular shapes along the edges of the wings should be folded back.
From paper, you can make a simple glider in the origami technique in stages.
- Take a simple rectangular sheet of paper. It is folded in half along the direction.
- The corners from above are folded close to the center.
- The side corners are folded towards the middle.
- The product is folded horizontally so that the upper corner is connected to the lower joint point of the edges.
- The paper blank is bent in half lengthwise, while the "pocket" should be outside.
- The wings of the glider are bent, while the triangular layers of the product are bent in half from both sides at once. If desired, the finished model can be decorated.
There are other options for the manufacture of such products. Paper can be used to make a passenger plane, an unusual corn plane, certain models (SU-35).
