Christmas tree origami ideas
Many people like to make different paper figures with their own hands. Such figurines can later be presented as a gift or used as decoration. In this article, we will present master classes on making a Christmas tree using the origami technique.
A simple option for postcards
Making an origami Christmas tree with your own hands as a New Year's card is not difficult. Even a child aged 5-6 can cope with this task. To work, you only need a 10 by 10 square of green paper. You need to act step by step.
- To begin with, the square must be folded in half, thereby marking the center line, and straightened back. Then the sides need to be folded to this center line. It should look like a kite.
- Next, you need to make a zigzag fold at the top of the future Christmas tree - as shown in the photo. After that, the workpiece must be turned over, and its lower corner must be folded, and then another zigzag fold must be made.
- In the lower part of the workpiece, you need to open the pockets on the sides, carefully smoothing the folds... The same must be done with the part that is located in the middle.
- Again flip the workpiece.
The New Year's card is ready! If you wish, you can decorate it with beads, beads and other decorations.
How to make 3D models?
Making a voluminous tree with your own hands is also not so difficult.... Kindergarten children can easily cope with this task, the most important thing is to act step by step, strictly following the instructions. To create such a Christmas tree, you will need scissors and green paper.
To begin with, we make a square from a4 sheet, cutting off the excess part from it.The resulting figure must be folded in half diagonally, well ironing the fold line.
Why straighten and fold again, but this time on the other side.
Now we fold the sheet in half, unfold and fold it again, but in the opposite direction, not forgetting to carefully iron the fold lines.
After all the manipulations done, the sheet must be expanded and folded diagonally again, thus obtaining an isosceles triangle. Your workpiece will be divided by the fold lines you made earlier into other shapes. There will be a small triangle on the right, which needs to be bent inside the workpiece, as shown in the image. All the same must be done with the other side. As a result, you will get a wrapped square.
The right side of the resulting figure must be bent to the center, the same is required to be done with the left side - carefully look at how this is done in the image.
Now you need to turn the workpiece over and do all the same steps, but from the back side. You will get a rhomboid shape.
After that, one side of the workpiece needs to be bent and bent inward. The same must be done with the rest of the parties. You will get a three-dimensional figure, but this is not the end.
You need to arm yourself with scissors and cut off the triangular part that is below from the future Christmas tree. After that, using the same scissors, we make cuts on the workpiece.
Please note that you do not need to cut through to the end, try not to reach the center line.
Now you need to bend the corners of the tree downwards, you need to do this from the lower tier.
The top corner does not need to be touched - it must remain unchanged.
Thus, you need to bend the corners on all sides of the tree, of which, with proper work on the workpiece, there should be eight.
After that, you need to straighten all sides in a circle. In this case, you must act carefully so as not to accidentally break. The craft is ready! If desired, you can decorate it with additional elements, for example: beads, beads or details cut out of paper. In addition, such a Christmas tree can be an excellent decoration - just thread a thread in its upper part.
Creating a Christmas tree from modules
A modular tree is a little more complicated in terms of manufacturing than others. The work on it is more painstaking and long, however, the end result is a beautiful piece that can serve as an excellent decoration and also perfect as a gift.
To work, you need colored paper, glue, a skewer, a lid and scissors.
Making a modular tree, you must act according to the scheme. First you need to cut a piece of paper into 16 identical rectangles. One module can be made from each such rectangle.
Collapsing a module is easy. To do this, you need to fold the sheet in half and iron it well to mark the center line. After that, we fold both edges of the workpiece to the middle.
We unfold it to the other side and bend the outer corners as shown in the image.
Now you need to fold the top edge and the two folded corners so that you end up with a triangle. The first module is ready, we do the rest in the same way.
Having made the required number of modules, we proceed to the assembly of the product. To begin with, we lay the first tier, consisting of two rows, each of which should have eight modules. The modules are fixed in the following way: the module is placed on the short side and inserted into the pocket of the second module.
After we begin to lay out the third tier of three rows, each of them should have ten modules. After that, you need to thread five modules through one.
We pass to the third tier. It consists of four rows, each of which has twelve modules. After that, six modules need to be threaded through one. Next, we make the fourth tier of three rows of fourteen modules each. Now we pass seven modules through one.
Separately, you need to make seven blanks from 5 modules - they all need to be fastened. The last stage remains, namely the last lower tier, consisting of three rows, each of which has sixteen modules. After that, you need to thread eight modules through one.
Now we make eight blanks from seven modules and fasten them.
We make a hole in the lid and insert a skewer there, after which we begin to string spruce tiers on it one by one. If necessary, you can smear them a little with glue so that they hold better. The modular tree is ready! If necessary, you can carve a star for it as a top decoration.
