How can you make origami in the shape of a tank?

Origami is the art of folding paper shapes. Almost everyone from early childhood knows how to fold a simple airplane or boat out of paper. Origami in the form of a tank is a more complex and fun process. The interesting thing about this technique is that no glue is required at all.

Of course, there are a huge number of craft options. But one basis is required - a sheet of paper.

For preschoolers, there is a simple origami version in the form of a T-34 tank.

To make such a shape, you need a sheet of green paper. Preferably bilateral. The basis of the craft is a square. You can cut it out very easily. To do this, it is enough to attach the corner of a rectangular A4 sheet to the opposite side. The remaining side of the sheet is cut off with scissors.

A perfectly flat square is ready! Now you can proceed directly to the assembly of the paper tank.

First you need to fold the double square.

To do this, a square sheet of paper must first be folded diagonally twice, and then in half. Then the figure unfolds. Folds have formed on the sheet. Now the workpiece needs to be turned at an angle towards you, and the side squares must be pressed inward. Thus, a basic figure is obtained, where the upper and lower parts are in the shape of a square, and triangles with right angles are formed inside.

After the basic blank is ready, you can proceed to the main part of folding the tank.

On a double square, you need to make three folds.

Then the workpiece is unrolled to its original position.The small square that has formed in the center and the zipper fold are squeezed inward. The resulting shape needs to be smoothed out.

The resulting fold must be bent outward.

The corners must be bent on both sides. This is how the tower of the future crafts for boys is formed.

Then it is necessary to bend the sides of the workpiece and the lower corner away from you, also in the direction away from you.

Next, you need to bend the bottom corner of the top layer up. In the diagram, the fold line is indicated by a dotted line.

The pockets formed on the sides must be straightened, and the triangle bent in paragraph 6 must be returned to its original position.

Repeat the side folds in the same way as in the previous paragraphs.

On the second side, also bend the triangle to the dotted line.

Repeat step 7, straightening the pockets and lowering the triangle down.

Then you need to form the muzzle of the tank by bending it and lifting its lower edges inward.

Lower the upper edge of the muzzle down.

Following all these points, you get a simple paper craft without glue. Origami is an interesting activity for children and adults, because unusual crafts are obtained.

There is an even easier way to make origami in the form of a combat technique. It will take very little time.

Fold A4 sheet towards you.

Turn the corner from the fold to the opposite edge. Expand.

Turn the corner again, but from the outer edge to the fold.

Expand and repeat from the other side of the part. You should get a rectangular blank with marked folds of triangles on the sides.

Hide the side triangles inside and cover with the top ones, the base of which is the short side of a rectangular blank. Repeat the same actions on the opposite side. It turns out the basic detail of origami - "double triangle".

Tuck the long side of the part to the centerline, leaving the upper triangle on top.

Fold to the edge.

Rotate the workpiece and repeat the steps.

Cover with triangles.

Turn the part over, and raise the corners of the triangle to its apex.

Turn over and connect the workpiece. To do this, loosely fold the triangle in half, and carefully skip it between the already folded one.

Fold over and hide all bottom corners.

Align the workpiece and round the tracks.

For the muzzle, you need to cut out a rectangle, roll it up into a tube and glue it. Fix the barrel in the turret of the tank.

Another simple way is to fold a figurine of a fast tank out of paper.

Fold a standard A4 sheet in half lengthwise.

Bend the long side of the rectangle to the fold. Repeat the same on the opposite side.

Expand. Tuck the corners to the center.

Bend the long side of the part towards the center and bend it in the opposite direction. Repeat the same on the other side.

Turn the workpiece over and fold it twice so that, when connected, the basis of the future craft is formed from it.

To connect the parts, you will need to bend the paper from below, connecting it in the place where the upper strip is located.

The trunk can be made by rolling a small paper rectangle diagonally into a tube. Cut off the sharp edges and glue the barrel to the tower.

Although this master class is a more complex model of several parts, a step-by-step description will help you make the craft quickly and easily. The turret tank can be made from a sheet of double-sided paper or plastic cardboard.

The step-by-step instruction includes 3 main steps. The process itself will take about an hour of free time.

For crafts, you will need scissors, A4 sheets of paper, a pencil, a ruler, and glue.

In order to make the lower chassis of the future tank, you must complete the following steps.

• Roll A4 sheet 2 times in half.

• Cut the workpiece exactly in half.

• Cut one of the pieces into 2 pieces again.

• Fold the resulting strip in half.

• Turn the workpiece towards you, turn the lower edge of the strip upwards, towards the center.

• Roll up and press down.

• Turn the corners of the workpiece inward by about 0.5 cm.

• Smooth all folds with a ruler.

• Tuck the top and bottom flaps towards the center.

• Lift all pockets formed by lengthening them.

• Tuck the side flaps to the top of the workpiece.

• Turn the workpiece over, turn the corners by 0.5 cm, and unscrew them again.

• Place the side parts of the base perpendicularly and bend over all visible folds.

Thus, the basis of the tank was obtained - the chassis.

In order to make a crawler guard, you need to do the following.

• Take half of the sheet from the chassis blank and measure 6 mm from two opposite long sides.

• Make 2 folds upward on each side. You get a blank with two square edges.

• Then you need to try on this part from the chassis of the tank. The protection should be slightly larger than the base.

• Fold up the short edge and turn the workpiece over.

• Turn the corners of the base on the opposite side by 0.5 cm.

• Install the undercarriage on top of the base, putting it on the bends.

• Then you need to make the fixation elements.

• Take the remaining strip and tuck its right side towards the center. Cut a quarter of the strip along the fold line.

• Fold the resulting piece, tucking both edges towards the center.

• Fold down the right and left lower corners. You should get a triangular piece. Expand it.

• On the unfolded workpiece, criss-cross fold lines should be obtained. Press in the side flaps to create a triangle-shaped part again.

• Turn the bottom corners up, and turn the upper and lower parts of the resulting workpiece to the center.

• Attach the part to the chassis and make a 180-degree turn: it should completely repeat the contour. If necessary, the part must be trimmed - there should be no excess length.

• Insert the edges of the workpiece into each other, with the square in the middle.

• Wrap undercarriage with track protectors.

When the base of the tank is ready, you can start designing the tower.

• Cut a 6x6 cm square from a sheet of paper.

• Fold the square diagonally twice. You should have a cruciform fold line.

• Fold the part in half.

• Collect the bottom corners.

• Turn the workpiece over, and turn the left corner up.

• Turn the part over again. Tuck all corners to the center.

• Press the bottom right flap inward, turn the workpiece over again.

• Lift the inner pockets and turn them out slightly.

• Repeat the same with the left side of the part, bending the top corner towards the bottom.

• Thus, observing the correct sequence of actions, you can make a tank turret.

To make the muzzle and protect it, you will need a small piece of paper measuring 6x8 cm.

• Fold the strip in half widthwise.

• Fold the part three times and unfold one flap.

• Fold up the lower left and right corners.

• Fold the part in half.

• Pull the valve up.

Repeat the steps again to complete the third part of the workpiece.

• Insert the first edge of the protection into the upper pocket of the tower, and the second into the lower one.

• Install defense on the tower. For reliability, you can fix it with glue.

• Cut off a small rectangle and roll it into a thin strip.

• Fold back one edge of the strip and fold it in half to form a triangle.

• Insert edge with triangle into hole between tower and guard and wrap around.

• Cut off another small rectangle, roll it into a tube and fix it on the tower.

A modular paper product is easy to make, but it will take a little more time than classic origami. This option is suitable for beginners. To make a tank using this technique, you will need to fold many small triangles out of paper and connect them, giving the desired shape. After the modules are ready, they need to be connected.

In total, you have to assemble 3 main parts: the lower (tracks, tracks, body), the upper (tower) and the muzzle. This will help step-by-step instructions for creating a large tank from modules.

To make blanks, you need square sheets. They need to be folded 2 times diagonally and 2 times horizontally. Tuck the formed corners inward.

When the modules are ready, you can start building.

For caterpillars, you will need 6 round blanks and 2 oval ones. The wheels will be made up of two rows of modules. To do this, you first need to close 12 blanks in a circle (inner row), and then collect a denser outer row. Repeat 6 times.

To assemble the tracks, it is necessary to insert the modules into each other and close them with an oval, having previously tried on 3 wheels. The track width must be seven modules.

The turret of the tank can be made from four matchboxes, in each of which you need to make holes for turning the muzzle. It is advisable to glue the base with colored paper. Then assemble another wheel for the tower and insert it into the base.

The length of the cannon should not exceed 12 rows, and the width should not exceed two blanks. The muzzle is attached to the tower, and the tower itself is placed on the base.

To create the base of the tank, you need to assemble a structure of 5 rows, each of which has 7 paper triangles - modules.

All parts of the tank must be connected by gluing with ordinary PVA glue.

It will be a great addition to a gift for any occasion. Spectacular and unusual appearance will attract attention.

Another easy way to make a tank using the origami technique. To do this, you need an A4 sheet, which must first be folded in half, then unfold and bend the sheet again, but already by a quarter - by half of the sheet half. The same must be repeated from the opposite side. There should be 3 fold lines on the sheet.

On one side, you need to roll 2 corners to the center. Much the same as when making a simple airplane. After that, starting from the corners, bend each side of the workpiece to the fold line.

Then the bent side must be bent in the opposite direction. You should get an accordion. The workpiece is turned over and folded back by 2/3. Tuck the smaller side in the same way, tucking the corners inward, under the formed protrusions.

During the manufacturing process, caterpillars were formed. They need to be straightened out. Then you can start making the muzzle. To do this, roll a small piece of paper into a tube, holding the sides together, cutting off if necessary.

The muzzle must be placed in a triangle that formed on top of the workpiece.

Another version of origami in the form of a tank will require a sheet of green paper. Preferably bilateral.

To do this, the sheet must be folded in half. Tuck the right and left corners towards the center and unfold.

Tuck the corner in the opposite direction and unfold. Thus, on both sides, you should get a cruciform fold lines. On both sides, you need to fold the triangles so that the folds are inside. The inner triangles are folded down.

Then the upper edge of the workpiece must be bent down to the center of the product. After that, the bent part must be folded twice again. Bend the side triangles up. Repeat the same for the bottom.

Expand the triangles in both directions. Tuck the sides of the left triangle to the center to form a rhombus. Turn the workpiece over.

Connect 2 sides of the future tank into a ring by inserting parts into each other. The upper triangles need to be hidden in the lower ones, forming the shape of the tower.

For a muzzle, you need to roll a small leaf into a tube and fix it. Insert the cannon into the hole in the tower. Spread out the tracks.
