Children, regardless of age, are prone to creativity. They constantly make something, mold - as a rule, characters from popular cartoons and fairy tales become the heroes of their crafts. The wolf is a frequent guest in fairy tales, and most often he gets negative roles, remember at least "Little Red Riding Hood", "The Wolf and the Seven Kids." We invite you to take a fresh look at this controversial character. In fact, in nature, a wolf rarely attacks a person - this animal has a high intellect and is capable of sincere love. Let's try to fold the wolf using origami technique.

Options for children

The simple paper origami technique is suitable for children 5-6 years old. The "Wolf" children's master class for beginners will allow you to make a wonderful wolf cub. In the end, you can glue the eyes to it, paint the paws - it all depends on your wishes. Children love to tinker, and this easy master class is perfect for both home and kindergarten. All you need to do is follow the step by step instructions.

For crafts you will need:

  • glue stick;

  • 2 black squares (12x12 and 17x17 cm);

  • felt-tip pens.

Step-by-step instruction:

  • The first step is to create the torso. To do this, we connect a square (17x17 cm), as shown in the photo. You should get a triangle.

  • We lower the corners to the top of the right angle.
  • Bend back the lowered corners at an angle, leaving small folds.
  • We bend the corners inward, and at the bottom we drag the right angle. Now we turn the wolf blank to the other side.
  • We lower the upper parts (these will be the legs).

  • Bend the side corners back. All the parts that we have (bent) are glued on both sides.

The next step is to create the head:

  • We take a 12x12 cm square and make a triangle out of it.

  • We grab the bottom corner and raise it to the top.
  • We lower the upper corners.
  • Now we raise the corners (these will be the ears).
  • We open the middle part, revealing the pockets.

  • Now we turn the head over to the other side.
  • Raise the lower corner, lower the upper one.

  • Fold back the side parts.

  • We raise the corner-nose.

Further actions depend on the child's imagination - you can cut white eyes out of paper and glue them to the head. Pupils can be drawn with regular ones or with a heart (there will be a wolf in love).

We glue the body and head. We enjoy the resulting craft.

How to make modular crafts?

For those who like to fold modules and build real works of art from ordinary paper, it will not hurt to use the step-by-step instructions for assembling an animal - a wolf. It is worth noting that modular crafts are difficult for children, so it will be better if adults are nearby and help in the work.

How to fold a wolf from paper modules with your own hands:

  • We will fold the 1st row with the pockets upwards - outward with the long side. We need 20 gray modules. We cut the A4 sheet into 32 parts and put the craft out of them.

  • We will put on the 2nd and 3rd rows with the pockets down on the long side. You will need 20 origami elements.

  • After adding white (1 pc.), We collect, strictly following the scheme.

Remember that the scheme for collecting a modular animal is complex, watch carefully how this is done in the video, otherwise all the work will be in vain. The animal's muzzle and head are made at the very end.

Useful Tips

A paper wolf cub can be very diverse - you can give it a harsh look, or, conversely, make it a cutest animal. Wolf figures can be simple and complex - with a small child it is better to tackle simple ones, which are made from paper in a matter of time, otherwise the child will think that he does not understand something - leave complex schemes for older children, or control the process.

To get the figure from the master class as close as possible to the original, study the description of the work in advance, view the video and photographic materials. If a child doubts the correctness of origami creation, tell him how to do it correctly, but do not take the whole process upon yourself, the child must figure out for himself. Prepare in advance the materials that will be needed in the work, cut out the sheets of paper, and let the child create with pleasure.

Wolves can be kind and friendly - in any case, yours will definitely be like that! Find him the most prominent place in the room - the modular animal can be placed in a rack or glass cabinet. It will perfectly complement the interior of your child's bedroom and will remind you of a fun pastime. Successful crafts!
