How to make an origami snake?

A simple option for creating a paper snake for beginners does not require a lot of time. The result will impress you. All you need is 2 sheets of colored paper (preferably different colors), we will fold the leaves several times. This scheme is suitable for both beginners and those who need a snake for playing games or decorating a children's shelf.

Let's list the stages of work.

• We take a leaf and fold it several times (you should get a long strip). For reference: you can fold the sheet in half, then again in half, and continue until a strip forms (look at the picture).
• We take the second sheet and do the same with it.
• There will be 2 strips in front of you - they need to be put on top of each other (look at Figure 7).
• We bend the strips into a square, the result is an accordion.

There is one more elementary option. Even preschoolers can cope with it on their own. We will make a snake out of green paper (you can choose another one if you wish). If you're making a reptile for a holiday, like a birthday, you can purchase glittery paper.

So, for work you will need:

• green A4 paper;

It will be good if you also take a small piece of white paper and a black felt-tip pen to create the eyelet. All that is required of you is to look at the picture and repeat the manipulations depicted on it.

Stages of work:

• starting from the first row, we alternate (outward with long sides);
• the next row should be collected with short sides out;
• we continue the alternation until the very end, that is, the tail.

In this scheme, the abdomen will turn out to be yellow, and the back will turn out to be green.
