• Before you start drawing, it is recommended to make at least a schematic sketch of the future image on a draft. You can depict anything on a postcard - it only depends on your drawing skills.So, you can depict a bunch of balls, some kind of animal like a bear or a bunny, a car or even a comic book hero.

• To make the sail look voluminous, the part from which it is formed must be slightly bent.
• After that, all the parts must be placed in the correct sequence and glued. If you work with PVA glue, then in this case you need to be careful so as not to accidentally pour the craft.

Making a voluminous postcard is not as difficult as it might seem at first glance. Such a craft will be within the power of both a child aged 8-11 years old and a preschooler.

For example, you can make a voluminous postcard in the form of a birthday cake. This will require colored paper, cardboard, scissors and glue.

• First of all, we cut out several wide strips of different lengths, from which the tiers of the cake will be formed. We fold their edges and coat with glue so that the rest remains intact, after which we glue the strips in the following sequence: first, at the bottom of the postcard, place the longest "tier", the middle one is shorter and the last one is the shortest.
• Now we cut out the parts for the candles, and then attach them to the postcard. Ready! If desired, the cake can be decorated with additional elements of colored paper, they can also be drawn with felt-tip pens.

To make a postcard using the scrapbooking technique, you will have to purchase certain materials, including special paper and cardboard, double-sided tape, a stationery knife with replaceable blades and various decorative elements. In addition, you will need a hot glue gun and regular scissors.

Making a simple balloon postcard.

• First of all, we cut out balls of different colors from cardboard. It will be necessary to attach a thread to each of these balls.
• To make the card look voluminous, we attach the ball to a special sticky pad. If desired, the workpieces can be arranged in two layers to make the craft more interesting.
• We glue the threads of the balls or tie them together. We place a greeting inscription on the free part of the postcard.

It is not difficult to make a postcard with a surprise inside, which can be a chocolate bar. To do this, you will need thick cardboard, glue, scissors and decoration elements, which are chosen at your discretion.

• First you need to make two bases from thick cardboard. One will be the main part for a postcard, it should look like a rectangle measuring 22 by 7 cm, the second will be a pocket for a chocolate bar - this detail should be 8 by 14 cm. but also, for example, tea bags, cute greeting notes or a banknote.
• We fold the main part as shown in the figure, thus forming the basis for the postcard. We do the same with the pockets, after which we glue them inside the craft.
• All that remains is to decorate the postcard. This can be done in different ways: wrap it in beautiful wrapping paper, make an interesting applique, drawing, or use the scrapbooking technique described above.

A postcard made of buttons will also look interesting. In addition to the main material, for such a craft you will need cardboard, scissors, Moment glue and various elements for decoration.

• From buttons, you can lay out literally any image that only comes to your mind: for example, a birthday cupcake, a tree or balls. It all depends on your imagination.
• Arrange the buttons in the order you want, forming a pattern, and glue to the cardboard base. All other details can be finished with felt-tip pens or cut out of colored paper. In addition, you can use bright ribbons, threads and other decorative elements that are at your fingertips. Sign the postcard. Ready!

You can also make a homemade birthday card for your brother with confetti. To make it, you need an ordinary stapler and colored paper. Then it remains only to lay out an interesting image from the confetti obtained, glue it all and sign.
