Do-it-yourself birthday cards for a girl
Making birthday cards with your own hands is much more wonderful than buying ready-made template samples. Our today's material is devoted to how to make a postcard for a girl aged 4-5 and 6-7, 8-9 and 10-11 years old. A separate important topic is beautiful postcards for newborn babies.
Crafts for the little ones
Of course, a newborn girl will not yet be able to independently appreciate all the advantages of handmade greeting cards, but they are quite appropriate for gifts to families of friends, relatives and other loved ones. It is curious that the simplest options can well be done by children, addressing crafts to their sisters. To make a beautiful envelope you will need:
- thick white and bluish paper;
- openwork napkins with a cross section of 100 mm;
- a thin satin ribbon about 80 cm long;
- rhinestones from pearls (sold in any stores for homemade lovers or in the departments of sewing accessories);
- a rod removed from a ballpoint pen;
- stationery ruler;
- regular pencil;
- transparent superglue "Moment";
- stationery glue;
- home scissors for paper;
- lighter.
First of all, you need to transfer the template to thick paper. The master class can be easily applied to postcards intended for 1 year, for 2 or 3 years equally. If manual transfer of a template is difficult, it is simply printed out on a printer. The white paper will allow you to cut the envelope itself. Then you need to draw stripes of bends (a ruler and a non-writing ballpoint pen will help with this).
Sometimes a thin knitting needle is taken instead.
Next, fold the workpiece. At this moment, its edges are held with a ruler to make everything smoother and more accurate. Openwork napkins help to decorate the envelope.They are put on a glue stick. It is very important to imitate the lace “smell”.
It is created using original creases. Then you need:
- bend the edge of the envelope;
- glue its left and right sides to it;
- tie the workpiece with a ribbon;
- cut the edges of this ribbon in the manner of a corner;
- melt them a little with a lighter to prevent shedding;
- fix the tape on the envelope with a few drops of super glue;
- turn the second template into a blue and white insert;
- decorate the card with rhinestones;
- write congratulations on it and place in an envelope.
Still good to do postcard dress with "pocket"... Money is often put into this "pocket". This method of donating them is quite acceptable and quite original. For a change, you can also put congratulations there. For work you need:
- pinkish double-sided cardboard;
- sequins, beads and rhinestones for decoration;
- glue (pencil or PVA);
- pink patterned paper;
- light ribbon.
The dress is drawn in the simplest form. The picture should span the entire sheet or so. The pocket is prepared from pink paper. This blank is glued to the "dress".
A congratulatory message is often written on the reverse side of such a composition.
What to do for children 4-9 years old?
When a few years pass, the girl's birthday cards, created with her own hands, do not become less relevant. Moreover, the recipients themselves can already begin to evaluate them on their own. Therefore, it is necessary to approach the choice of the plot and to work it out very carefully. Even at 5-6 years old, lisping and touching plots, which until recently fascinated babies, are no longer too appropriate. And at 7 years old, and even more so at 8 and 9, they are irrelevant.
Ready-made templates are often taken as a basis. But it is better to modify and modify them a little to your liking in order to get away from stereotypes... A very good idea is a curly greeting product in the form of a crown. You just need to correctly beat it, and since there are a lot of templates, it is easy to choose them according to your taste. Can I have some more:
- cut out figures of animals;
- to issue textured letters in the form of a solid inscription;
- paste over the paper with hearts and sign the original congratulation on your own behalf;
- lay out a rainbow from the buttons;
- prepare a bouquet of hearts (simple or belted with machine white stitching);
- use a contrasting substrate with a large number of circles, which are most easily obtained with a conventional hole punch.
A flower basket can be a nice idea. It is done very simply, but despite this, it looks extremely magnificent. Start by creating the base of the card, which is formed from a colored cardboard sheet. Its size is chosen at your discretion. The sheet is folded in two. Cover the outside with all the necessary decorations. From the inside, they usually place wishes for the girl being gifted. The basket is made of dark-colored crepe paper. First, its vertical parts are installed, and then horizontally located strips. Then they take crepe paper of a different color and create flowers from it; the buds are formed by pulling the paper into an accordion.
The next steps:
- cutting out buds;
- cutting out green leaves;
- gluing buds in any chosen place;
- gluing leaves around the buds;
- writing holiday wishes and congratulatory words.
The idea of a postcard with sweets is also good. They are usually created not on plain paper, but on Whatman paper. The sheet is folded so that it immediately resembles a postcard. The main congratulation is applied to the title edge with a pencil, felt-tip pens and paints. Then you need:
- pick up and mark inside the place for sweets and signatures under them;
- make these inscriptions;
- attach the necessary sweets over them with double-sided tape;
- supply the remaining empty spaces with stickers, souvenirs, or simply paint with pencils (paints).
Ideas for teens
Homemade gifts for teens can be roughly divided into two groups. One is designed for the age of 10-12 years, including 11 years, and the other - 13, 14, 15 years. This is a completely different level of attitude towards everything around, so it is useful to take into account the psychological subtleties.
A simple postcard for children is formed as follows:
- fold white cardboard in half, creating the basis for the composition;
- cut out a purple rectangle (it must match the front side of the base);
- stick this paper on the blank;
- cut out a white cardboard rectangle (it should be 20 mm narrower and lower than the background);
- draw with a compass and cut out round templates 28, 31 and 37 mm from white paper;
- circle the two largest templates on cardboard and cut holes around the perimeter of the marks;
- the holes are sealed with a transparent film in the manner of windows;
- 28mm template is outlined on pink paper;
- cut out the pink circle;
- cut out a square 80x80 mm from pink scrap paper;
- glue this square on three sides behind the window with a radius of 31 mm;
- fall asleep inside the pocket of sequins;
- stick on the fourth side of the square
- cut out a light green scrapbooking square 90x90 mm;
- they glue a 37-mm window with it and repeat the sequin maneuver;
- a suitable figure is formed from glitter paper or glitter foamiran;
- flowers are cut from the same material with a figured hole punch;
- make 3 thin pink bows;
- cut off some more pink tape;
- bows and pieces of tape are glued to form something like balloons;
- stick the craft with balls on the base of the picture;
- add wishes.
You can do it differently - make a card in the shape of a heart. First of all, fold the colored cardboard sheet in half. On one side of it, a half of the romantic symbol is drawn. This half must be carefully cut along the contour. Having unfolded the blank, they see a delightful heart, decorated at their own discretion, for example, with voluminous stickers.
