There are different options for making such gifts. In this article, we offer you ideas for creating greeting cards.

It's not difficult to make a homemade beautiful postcard in addition to a gift. Alternatively, you can draw it, while it will turn out to be original and interesting.

To draw a card, you will need paper, watercolors, acrylic or gouache paints, pencils or felt-tip pens. For a gift card, it is best to use heavy watercolor paper, especially if you paint with paints.

• Before you start drawing on the card, sketch out what you want to portray. It is not necessary to draw everything in detail - it is enough to sketch out the main elements of the picture. Along with this, consider the location of the postcard. If necessary, fold it in half if you plan to make an opening postcard. Decide on the primary colors you will use. Such a sketch will make it easier for you to create a postcard later and will help you not to spoil the material.

For the craft, you will need materials such as cardboard, colored paper, glue, scissors, and a simple pencil.

• To begin with, we cut out several wide strips of different lengths, from which the tiers of the cake will be folded. Fold the edges of these strips and glue them with glue, without touching the rest, and then glue to the cardboard base in the correct order: the longest of the strips should be at the bottom, the smallest at the top.

A volumetric postcard can also be made using the quilling technique. • It is easy to make a postcard using the quilling technique, but it is time-consuming, since you will need to make a lot of curls to form a picture. In this case, you need to twist it carefully, otherwise there is a risk of wrinkling the paper strip or breaking it.
• Next, each of the curls must be fixed at the ends with glue so that nothing falls apart. If you use PVA glue, then you need to be more careful, as there is a high risk of flooding the card with glue, thereby ruining it.
• In addition, some curls will need to be given a certain shape if the image you have conceived requires it. You can do this with your fingers.
• When you are finished with the curls, arrange them in the desired order on the cardboard base for the postcard, and then glue them.

There are many other options for creating greeting cards that are perfect for congratulating a sister of any age.

For example, a postcard for an older sister can be made of multi-colored buttons. In addition to the base material, you will need Moment glue or a hot glue gun, cardboard paper and felt-tip pens. You can also use paper, beads, beads, thread, felt-tip pens, or other materials if required for your intended image.

• First, place the buttons in the order you want, roughly estimating what your craft will look like, and then glue it. Please note that safety precautions must be followed when using a glue gun, otherwise you may accidentally harm yourself or damage the device.
• Thus, almost any pattern can be formed from buttons: a bird, a bunch of balls, a cake, a flower bouquet.

Plus, there are tons of other ideas for creating greeting cards. For example, you can make a craft out of confetti, which, in turn, is made using an ordinary hole punch.
