It is not difficult even for children to make a greeting card for a particular holiday with their own hands. In the article, we will present several master classes on creating beautiful postcards for different holidays for children 2, 3, 4, 5 years old and older.

Simple options for toddlers

The easiest way for kids aged 2 to 3 years to make a postcard using their own palms and fingers. For such a children's postcard, the following materials will be needed: paper, brushes, gouache or watercolors, as well as napkins so that in the process there is an opportunity to wipe your hands.

The workflow is pretty straightforward. The palm must be painted in the desired color and printed on a piece of paper - this will be a kind of flower. After that, the hand must be washed so that the work does not look dirty and stained, and the flower stalk and petals must be painted with a brush. If you wish, you can add other elements to the craft: add clouds, sun, lawn, butterfly and more.

In a similar way, you can make a slightly different craft. This will require colored paper, scissors, glue, and a simple pencil.

Circle your palm on colored paper and cut out - it will be a flower. Use another colored paper to make a flower pot, petals, and a stem. Arrange all the parts of the craft in the desired sequence and glue. The craft is ready!

It will be easy for the kid to make a postcard using finger drawing. This will require paints, paper, cardboard, glue, scissors, and wet wipes.

If the child draws with his fingers, then this will require special finger paints. But instead of fingers, you can use ordinary cotton swabs, in this case, simple gouache paint will do.

The creation of such a postcard, as a rule, does not take much time. Fold a piece of paper in half and cut. On one of the parts, draw a stem and petals for the flower. Next, use your fingers or cotton swabs to make buds.

After that, wait until the drawing is completely dry. Glue it to the front of the cardboard. Attach the second half of the sheet to the back of the cardboard sheet - there you can write a small congratulation.

The holiday card is ready!

Birthday card ideas

There are many options for making easy baby birthday cards. So, in order to make a postcard with balloons, you need the following materials: cardboard, buttons of different colors and sizes, Moment glue and a marker.

It's pretty easy to make such a postcard. Estimate the approximate location of the "balls" in the form of buttons, placing them in the order you want on the cardboard. The very basis for the postcard - a cardboard sheet - can be rotated as you please: vertically or horizontally. However, when placing the buttons, it is worth remembering that there should still be room on the postcard for the threads from the balls and for the congratulatory inscription.

We glue each button in turn, and then we take up the marker. With its help, we write a small congratulatory inscription and draw the strings. If you want, you can add other elements to the card. Ready!

A voluminous birthday card in the form of a cake will look no less interesting. To create it, you need colored paper, glue stick, scissors, a pencil and cardboard.

The workflow is pretty straightforward. To begin with, we cut out several thick strips of different lengths - these will be tiers for the cake. We make bends at the edges of the strips, after which we coat them with glue and attach them to the cardboard in the required sequence: the bottom should be the largest tier of the cake, that is, the longest strip, and the smallest on top.

Having formed the base for the cake, cut out the candles and glue them to the cake.

It remains to make a heart. To do this, you need to cut out two identical parts in the form of a heart. Glue one, fold the second in half and coat the fold line with glue. We attach this heart in the middle to an already finished part, thus getting a voluminous heart.

The postcard is ready!

Homemade cards for the New Year

It will also be easy for a child to make a New Year's card with their own hands. This requires colored paper, cardboard, glue, scissors, and a cutout template.

First you need to print the template, cut it out and circle it on colored paper. If you are unable to print it, then you can do without a template. In this case, you will need to draw three circles of equal diameter using a compass, draw individual elements, including a hat, a carrot nose and hands, and then cut it out as well.

We bend the cardboard sheet, which will be the basis of the postcard, in half. Almost ready! It remains only to glue all the details to the cardboard and draw the snowman's face with felt-tip pens. Ready! If desired, the postcard can be diversified with additional elements: for example, cutting a scarf for a snowman, adding snowflakes, and so on.

There are several more options for creating interesting crafts for the New Year. So, for one of them, in addition to the basic materials, you will need a hole punch and a ribbon.

The work process is very simple: with a hole punch we make a lot of multi-colored circles out of colored paper, and then we make an applique out of them in the form of a Christmas ball.

Options for March 8

Making a postcard for mom or grandmother on March 8 is not difficult. For example, a postcard can be made as an applique. To create a postcard, you will need paper, cardboard, pencil, glue, felt-tip pens, various beads and ribbons.

Having collected all the materials, you can get to work. There are many options for creating applications. The easiest way is to make a flat appliqué on cardboard.

To do this, you need to cut out flower buds and petals from colored paper, arrange them in the desired sequence and glue them. If desired, such a craft can be diversified with additional drawings or applications in the form of butterflies and other insects.

A more interesting option is a card in the form of a circle with flowers. The workflow is quite simple: the main parts are cut out using a template. The part in the form of a circle is folded in half along the fold line. Flowers are attached inside the mug and decorated with a bow made of ribbon. The rest of the pieces are also glued to the postcard. Ready!

In a similar way, you can make many different applications: for example, an umbrella in the form of flowers, a flower tree, and others.

A postcard made of buttons will look no less interesting. Moreover, making it is no more difficult than the same application. For crafts, you need glue, cardboard, felt-tip pens and buttons. If you wish, you can use additional materials: threads, bows or beads.

Fold the cardboard in half. On the front side, where the image of the buttons will be located, we make a frame from colored paper, ribbons or using felt-tip pens to make the card look brighter and more beautiful. This stage is done at your discretion, if you wish, you can skip it. If possible, you can purchase special thick paper for postcards in a specialty store for creativity. In this case, it will not be necessary to do additional machinations to decorate the base.

We spread the image you need from the buttons. It can be a bunch of balls, a bouquet of flowers, a bright tree or even a butterfly - it all depends on your imagination. We glue the buttons to the cardboard. We finish the missing parts with felt-tip pens, and attach additional elements to the card if necessary. Ready! All that remains is to sign a postcard and present it to your beloved mother or grandmother.

You can also make a picture postcard. There are many options for such a postcard: these are bouquets of flowers, and a variety of cute animals, and eight, braided with beautiful plants. There are no restrictions here. When performing work, you can use any materials, be it colored pencils, paints or felt-tip pens.

Making a postcard for February 23

Making a do-it-yourself card for Defender of the Fatherland Day for grandfather or dad is also not difficult. You can make it using paper, glue, cardboard, scissors and a simple pencil.

For example, you can make a postcard in the shape of a boat. To do this, you need to cut out several rectangles from which the sails will be formed, a thin strip-mast, where they will be attached, waves, a flag and a deck.

Next, you need to arrange all the parts on the cardboard in the desired sequence and glue. To make the sails voluminous, bend the corners of the parts from which they will be formed, and coat them with glue, without affecting the rest, and then attach them to cardboard. Add elements like clouds, sun or seagulls to the craft if you wish. Ready! All that remains is to sign the postcard and give it as a present.

The applique can also be done using the quilling technique. This work is more complicated, but at the same time interesting. The materials for the craft are the same.

Before making an applique, you need to make blanks in the form of long strips. Ideally, they are best purchased at a specialty craft store.

We wind the strips on a toothpick or pencil, and then remove them, acting carefully so that the part does not fall apart.

Instead of a toothpick or pencil, it is best to use a special quilling tool, which usually comes with the stripes, and is also sold in art stores.

Thus, we make the required number of curls. If necessary, we slightly change their shape with the help of our fingers. We glue the curls along the edge so that they do not fall apart. The work is painstaking and a little tedious, since there are quite a lot of curls for a full-fledged postcard to do.

We arrange the curls in the order you want and attach them to the cardboard. Almost anything can be made of them: for example, a congratulatory inscription, a tank or something else.

Postcards for other holidays

You can make a greeting card using one of the above methods for almost any holiday, be it Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, wedding anniversary or Christmas. You just need to turn on your imagination and plunge headlong into the creative process.
