For many, Teacher's Day is a bright and joyful holiday. School is an integral part of our life. Everyone passed through its walls, then took their children and grandchildren there. That is why on this day everyone wants to congratulate, thank the teachers, and a postcard made by the hands of students is the best and most sincere gift.

Simple paper options

Teachers spend a lot of time with our children, sometimes much more than their parents. After all, the older the class, the more complex the program, and the more hours the child spends within the walls of the educational institution. In 1994, October 5 was officially recognized as Teacher's Day in our country.

Over the years, certain traditions have developed - bouquets, congratulations, concerts from students and, of course, souvenirs - handmade postcards. Which one depends on the age of the child and his skills.

The help of parents in this case is simply invaluable. With their participation, even an elementary school student will be able to make a beautiful greeting card not only for teachers, but also for his birthday, New Year and any other holiday.

Postcard drawing

It's hard to find a child who doesn't like to paint. Teenagers already draw much less, but small children adore pencils, markers, paints. Therefore, direct the child's hobby to creation and help him make a greeting card with a globe and flowers. Interesting, beautiful and in the subject.

  • With the help of a compass, you need to draw a circle on a sheet of thick paper - this will be a globe.
  • Now it's the turn of the stand - an oval is drawn under the circle, connecting it with the circle.
  • You need to draw a line through the center of the globe, this is the axis of the earth (by the way, this is a great reason to tell the kid what a globe is).
  • The edges of the line are connected with a double half-arc.
  • The globe itself is ready, now you can start drawing the continents - not necessarily striving for an accurate image, the continents can be depicted as an imitation and signed for a more precise definition. Let the child draw them the way he can, thanks to this the card will become even more soulful.
  • After the continents are drawn, it remains to paint over the oceans.

The globe is ready, now it's up to the flowers that will be located next to it.

  • Again you need a compass - with it you need to draw two circles, and one should slightly overlap the other. Inside each one draw several additional circles, each smaller than the previous one. With their help, it is much easier to draw numerous rows of petals.
  • You can start drawing petals both from the center and from the outskirts. It is most correct to do this from the center, then the inner petals will not be blocked by the outer ones. If you start drawing from the outer edge, then each inner row will fall on the already drawn one, and the lines will shine through. When drawing, remember that the petals in the center are the shortest, and the outer ones are the longest.
  • After the ball of the chrysanthemum flower is drawn, you need to add a few leaves to it.

In order for the picture to get a complete look, it remains to draw pencils, a ruler or a triangle, a bunch of flowers near the globe - here you can give free rein to your imagination. But the main thing is to write the name of the holiday "Happy Teacher's Day!"

The proposed option is far from the only one. Instead of a globe, you can draw an owl, because it is a symbol of wisdom. And to make it easier, below is a diagram of her drawing, as well as several other schemes with which a child can learn to draw many objects, for example, a book. It is not difficult to draw it.

  • The first is the vertical line.
  • Then, cover rectangles are drawn from each side.
  • After that, you need to draw the pages, which means add several rectangles.
  • Now it remains to draw a semicircle at the bottom, as it happens when a thick open book lies on the table.

It remains to draw up the cover with a thick line, paint the picture. You can tint the pages and write congratulations on them, arrange the field around the book with small images of school supplies.

Application

An excellent gift for a teacher of elementary grades is an applique made by the hands of his students. For example, a medal-rosette with an inscription and a thematic image in the center. Each drawing can symbolize the subject that the teacher teaches. For example, a soccer ball for a medal for a physical education teacher, a zigzag for a physics teacher, a flask for chemistry, a microscope for biology, etc.

A funny applique "Bird, buttons, flower" - just for the elementary school students. Buttons should be taken the most ordinary, small, with through holes - those that are sewn onto shirts. The main thing is that they are multi-colored, and the brighter the better.

  • As a basis, you can take a sheet of thick craft paper, colored cardboard.
  • Now we need to draw and cut out the bird. In this version, it looks like a droplet. It is worth letting the child draw and cut it himself, because this shape was invented especially for him - a completely simple geometric pattern. And if the line has gone somewhere obliquely, it does not matter - "the road will be mastered by the one walking," and the baby's hands will gradually become more confident.
  • Next, you need to draw and cut out a wing in the shape of a heart.
  • From the finished parts, lay out the composition on a sheet, instead of flower petals and bird's eyes there will be buttons, after which everything is glued.

The flower stem, legs, beak of the bird are drawn with a felt-tip pen.

For the next application, use pencils and sharpened pencil shavings. It's simple:

  • several pencils are pasted vertically on a sheet of paper;
  • flower buds are folded from shavings and glued to the tips of several pencils;
  • on the remaining pieces of paper are glued, folded in the form of books and notebooks.

These are such funny and affordable postcards that you can make with young children who will be delighted with such work. Surely the teacher will be touched to the depths of his soul by such works of his pupils.

Scrapbooking postcards

The next craft is already more complicated - it is made using the scrapbooking technique. The proposed master class is devoted to the production of two postcards, chocolate makers. As a rule, such a souvenir is given to women teachers, and what could be better than making a chocolate maker for your teacher.

Necessary materials:

  • scissors, pencil, glue;
  • double-sided tape, satin ribbons;
  • cardboard or paper for watercolor, scrapbooking paper.

Chocolate maker for a small bar 90 g.

  • The template of the chocolate maker is cut out of paper for watercolor painting.
  • Then, with the blunt side of the scissors, the fold lines, indicated by the dotted line, are "pushed through".
  • Folds are made along the outlined lines and a chocolate bar blank is obtained.
  • From the outside of the blank, a satin tape 50–55 cm is glued to the fold line - this can be done with glue or double-sided tape.
  • Now it's the turn of scrap paper - details for decoration are cut out of it: 4 wide and 1 narrow strips.
  • Two wide strips and a narrow one are glued to the outside of the chocolate maker, the remaining wide strips are glued to the inside.
  • Now they make out the "pocket" - they glue it together.

The base of the chocolate maker is ready, it's time to decorate the product. There are no limits for imagination - there are endless options. You can use rhinestones, small decorative items. In this case, a rose flower is made from a satin ribbon. The inscription was printed on a printer and cut out with curly scissors, after which it was glued to scrap paper and then glued to a postcard together with it.

On the flip side from the inside, you need to write by hand or stick a printed congratulation. A chocolate bar is inserted into the pocket, and a great souvenir is ready.

Chocolate maker for a large bar of chocolate (200 g).

  • Two templates are cut out - their sizes are shown in the photo.
  • The shapes indicated by the arrows must be cut out.
  • After that, scrap paper is used - it is pasted over the outer side of the chocolate maker and the pocket.
  • On the inside of the postcard, you need to draw up an inscription-congratulation.
  • Then a chocolate bar is put into the pocket, and the postcard itself is decorated with satin braid.

The result is a wonderful souvenir gift. The idea itself is universal - such a gift can be made for any reason to mom, sister, girlfriend, etc.

Quilling ideas

Very beautiful homemade postcards are created using the quilling technique, which means making various compositions from paper strips twisted in a spiral. Create with your own hands and give your beloved teacher a bright volumetric composition - what could be more interesting and exciting ...

There are many options for such crafts, especially interesting postcards are obtained with flowers, because multi-colored quilling paper gives the broadest scope for creativity and imagination.

Bell

To make a quilling postcard, you can take ordinary multi-colored paper for creativity and cut it into strips 1 or 1.5 mm wide. However, you can buy ready-made quilling paper already cut. If you use A4 office paper, then for the length of each petal you will need 4 strips glued together in one long strip.

  • After the glued strips have dried, they are twisted with a special tool into tight spirals, which are then dissolved to a diameter of 1.5 cm.
  • After that, they need to give the outlines of the petals in a slightly irregular diamond shape.
  • Each petal is filled with a drop of PVA glue and left to dry (the glue creates a transparent coating that does not allow the petal to crumble).
  • The dried petals are given their final shape by bending them almost in half and arching the tip.
  • Five petals are glued together, turning the glued side down - this way they lie more evenly, their sides touch more tightly. After they dry, you can safely glue the remaining sides together.
  • As a result, the next blanks are obtained, they need a sufficient number to create a composition.
  • Now you need to make the stamens - they are made from the same paper, only wider strips of 200 mm.
  • You need to glue a narrow white strip to the pink strip, after which it is cut into noodles, twisted and inserted into the flower.
  • A sepal is made of green paper and attached to a wire, fixing it with a drop of hot glue so that it sits tightly on the stem.
  • The stalk wire itself is wrapped with corrugated paper, fixing it with glue at the beginning and at the end.

After that, it remains to collect the composition and place it in a frame on a base of thick paper.

Roses

To make roses, you need paper strips of colored paper measuring 6 x 290 mm, a quilling tool.

  • To begin with, several turns are made in order to get a tight roll.
  • After that, bend and turn again, then bend-turn again, while holding the workpiece with your finger, and so on until the end.
  • When the bud is ready, it is removed from the needle, fixed with a drop of glue, placed under a light press so that it does not bloom until the glue grabs, and the next one is made.
  • All the buds are completed, it remains to make a few green leaves using the familiar technology (bell petals).

The details are ready, it remains to assemble the composition and decorate it with a postcard, not forgetting about the inscription and congratulations.

School supplies options

For a change, you can make an unusual card for Teacher's Day from thin cardboard for creativity, decorating it as a visual aid - using a pencil, triangle, protractor, ruler, eraser, cut out globe and so on.

Master class on performing step by step. It was decided in advance that the postcard will be made in 3D technique - volumetric.

  • To create volume, a fold is made on a blank cut out of cardboard.
  • A pocket is glued inside the future postcard.
  • After that, decorate the inner field with colored paper cut out with maple leaves, glue the braid for strings.
  • The outside also needs some decoration. It can be pasted over with pink or blue paper, depending on who the card is intended for.

It is necessary to print the inscription on the printer, cut it out with curly scissors and stick it on. If there is an opportunity to write it by hand in beautiful handwriting, it will be even better. After that, it remains to decorate the front side of the card with school supplies.

Bulk crafts

If we talk about voluminous crafts in the form of postcards, then below is a very detailed master class on making postcards with your own hands with a teacher at the blackboard.

Necessary materials:

  • colored paper and cardboard for creativity;
  • colored and plain pencils, marker, glue, ruler.

How to make a 3D postcard in stages.

  • A white sheet of cardboard is bent in half, one side is smeared with glue, after which colored paper is glued and half is cut off.
  • Now you need to make a volumetric table with a height of 100 mm, drawing the paper into segments - 30, 50, 50, 50 mm.
  • Before the 30 mm segment, make another markup - 3 and 4 cm on the right and left sides, leaving about 100 mm in the middle.
  • For drawers, you need to cut 4 small pieces of 40x20 mm format and glue them onto the marked workpiece.
  • It's time for fine art - you need to draw handles, mark the boxes with a stroke and cut out the middle part between the boxes.
  • All parts of the table are bent inward, the extreme upper and lower planes of the table are greased with glue, leaving the areas with the boxes and above them dry.
  • Then the table is glued into a postcard bent at an angle of 90º.

It's time for a blackboard with dimensions 9.5x6 cm.

  • The board is cut out of black paper, the edges are pasted over with thin strips of colored paper, the name of the holiday is written on it.
  • The inscription dries up, it's time to draw the teacher - they do it on a separate sheet of paper, paint over the figure and cut it out.
  • Then you need a strip 100 mm wide - its length consists of segments 30, 35, 30, 35, 10 mm.
  • The strip is bent inward along the applied markings, and then glued into a rectangle, smearing the extreme centimeter piece with glue.
  • The resulting shape is glued into a postcard open at a right angle.
  • A teacher's figurine is glued to this base.
  • A dried blackboard is glued into the white space above the table.
  • The wall around is decorated with pre-cut, multi-colored flags.

It will not be superfluous to add a few more small details - imitate a pencil holder with pencils on the table, glue a few pieces of paper with numbers on the table, add a field for congratulations

Cover design.

  • Flowers are painted on it.
  • Small rectangles are cut out of thin paper, imitating notebook sheets. To do this, fold thin paper several times, then draw a half of a notebook from the fold and cut it out. The result is expanded notebook or book sheets.
  • A thin strip is glued into the center of the flower, to which several leaves are glued along the fold. As a result, you can flip through them.

The flower should be colored to add brightness. They make a congratulatory inscription on the pasted-in field - the volumetric postcard is ready.

Big Greeting Poster Cards

Instead of a postcard, you can make a large poster in the form of a wall newspaper. This option is popular with students, especially high school students. There are quite logical explanations for this - a pure white Whatman paper gives unlimited opportunities for the implementation of ideas and abilities. On it, everyone can write their own poems or thoughts in prose, add a drawing or photograph, and draw up wishes for the teacher in an exclusive version.

  • For example, you can make a poster in the form of a comic strip with captured moments from the life of the class and the teacher, add thematic clippings from the media there.
  • For subject teachers, you can use themes and pictures from the lessons, add pictures and appropriate pictures.
  • Any poster is not required to retain its original shape - it can be made in the form of a sheet, a magazine, etc.

The trick is for each student to take part in the production of a poster-postcard - let each of them leave a drawing or an inscription-wish, a small poem. In short, everyone should contribute something of their own. The result is an unusual and unique collage.

There are a few simple rules for this.

  • You need a well-thought-out sketch and plan for the future collage - anecdotes, jokes from school days, texts, pictures, photos, horoscopes, etc.
  • You will need 1 or 2 blank sheets of Whatman paper, glue, paints, pencils or markers.
  • You definitely need a colorfully designed title, after which a composition of prepared elements is laid out on an open field. Everything that is needed is glued, what needs to be written - written, drawn, painted.

After that, it remains to make the finishing touches - they tint the voids, glue or somehow fix treats in the form of sweets, small and large chocolates, and decorate with decorative elements. At the right time, a ready-made holiday postcard-poster is installed in the chosen place.

As you can see, making a postcard for Teacher's Day on your own is a completely simple, pleasant and grateful business.
