Stylish and warm

Various coat models have recently become more popular than classic jackets or down jackets. When developing a design, specialists from completely different brands choose the most reliable and warm materials.

The following coat models exist on the outerwear market:

  • very warm and rare natural wool coats;
  • models with bio down;
  • moisture resistant polyester coats;
  • universal raincoats;
  • cashmere coats pleasant to the body;
  • versatile crepe coats;
  • thick and warm tweed coats;
  • famous and elegant drape coats.

The coat is ideal for creating a flirty and romantic or austere and business look. The main thing to pay attention to when choosing such a versatile outerwear is the composition and material from which it is made.

Varieties

Wool coats

Reliable wool coats not only make their owner stylish and charming, but also give a feeling of lightness, warmth and comfort. Woolen models are not whimsical to care for, and a wide selection of styles and colors makes them serious competitors to classic sheepskin coats and fur coats. Outerwear made from this environmentally friendly material has always been considered the warmest and most reliable for the cold season, but unfortunately, it is not so easy to find a coat made of 100% natural wool. These models are suitable for both small subzero temperatures and more severe winter frosts.

Bio down coat

Modern, environmentally friendly and safe material - waltherm (bio down) makes various coat models quite light, warm and durable. Bio fluff has incomparable insulating properties, which makes outerwear made of such material not only beautiful and comfortable, but also suitable for sufficiently low temperatures.

These coats provide for the maintenance of a comfortable and optimal body temperature and protection from the penetration of cold air from the outside. The main quality that many women of fashion will appreciate is the absence of a greenhouse effect in such coats, which prevents the occurrence of unpleasant odors and sensations during prolonged wear in any weather.

Polyester coat

Synthetic material - polyester, which is currently insanely popular in the production of many types of goods, is quite often used in the manufacture of outerwear. But is a polyester coat warm or not? It is not easy to wrinkle, it is moisture resistant, maintains a comfortable body temperature and is surprisingly practical and easy to clean.

There is a polyester coat and one unpleasant drawback - it is a complete lack of breathability, which leads to sweating and other related discomfort. This problem has a solution in the form of an insulating lining that enhances the heat transfer characteristics of polyester. When choosing a fleece lining, the coat becomes as warm and reliable as possible even in the most severe frosts.

Raincoats

Such material as raincoat is indispensable in strong wind conditions. Most often, raincoat is used in the production of jackets and long raincoats, but if a coat is made from this material, then it should be additionally insulated. In this case, an ordinary synthetic winterizer is the optimal insulation. Cloak coats, insulated with the participation of padding polyester, are similar to ordinary elongated jackets or down jackets, however, many designers are trying to bring various interesting details into this model of outerwear.

Cashmere coats

Cashmere is a warm material made from mountain goat down and has warming properties. Natural and high-quality cashmere does not cause allergic reactions, itching and "prickly" sensations. If the choice fell on a model of a coat made of this material, it is worth remembering that cashmere requires special care and careful use.

Do not keep such outerwear in direct sunlight and wash cashmere coats only on a delicate cycle. Ironing such items is strongly discouraged, as this can lead to noticeable deformation or damage to the material.

Tweed & Crepe Coats

Long-lasting women's coats made from elastic and warm enough crepe fabric will not only help keep the body warm in cool weather, but also will not shrink after washing, as, for example, woolen models of outerwear.

Crepe coats have become popular due to the fact that they are quite difficult to wrinkle, and they do not require special care, while tweed items, which became known back in Soviet times, became famous for their exclusivity and originality of texture.

Tweed is a very malleable material, so coats made of it are often decorated with various patterns or details that make such outerwear fashionable and bright.

Wool coats

The drape, which is the result of a combination of natural wool and synthetic materials, perfectly warms women of fashion in warm and dense coats. Often this material has a two-layer surface, complemented by a velor finish, which significantly softens the fabric. Outwardly, woolen coats seem heavy due to the density of the material.

Which are the warmest and most stylish?

The warmest and most reliable coats for women have long been recognized as those that include natural wool, as well as models made of cashmere and bio fluff.Lovers of raincoat fabric can choose a warmer coat with an addition in the form of padding polyester. Stylish and bright image is created by models with fur cuffs or English collars, complemented by romantic hats with different widths of brim.

Trousers and jeans with shirts, as well as dresses and skirts look incredibly harmonious in a duet with coats of various colors, in addition, various accessories that match the color, such as handbags or clutches, perfectly complement the elegant look.

Light and dense flirty scarves in delicate and contrasting colors also go well with many coat models.
