You cannot leave your feet without attention and care. Appearance, walking comfort and health depend on their care. You can take care of them at home, but a professional pedicure is preferable.

Peculiarities

Pedicure is one of the body care procedures. Without well-groomed legs, the image of a neat and beautiful girl cannot be created. A professional pedicure has a number of features that make it different from a home pedicure.

  • giving an aesthetic appearance to the legs quickly enough (in 40-60 minutes);
  • the procedure is performed by a specialist who will not do anything superfluous and will not harm;
  • maintaining skin hygiene;
  • year-round foot care;
  • prevention of the formation of a fungus;
  • protection against ingrown nails;
  • removal of ingrown nails;
  • elimination of corns;
  • prevention of foot deformity;
  • prevention of flat feet;
  • elimination of skin residues that clog the space under the nails and create a favorable environment for the growth of dangerous bacteria.

Basic techniques

There are two main types of professional pedicure: the first is classic, and the second is hardware. By doing this or that procedure, they take care of nails and feet in a complex manner and prevent the development of dangerous fungal diseases. Although there are two main types, there are many techniques based on them. Each of them has its own characteristics.

- Classic

Unlike hardware pedicure, the classic one involves manual care for the skin of the feet. The procedure is popular with masters and girls who are used to taking care of themselves on their own (or who do not have money for salon procedures). To do a classic pedicure, you need the following tools:

  • scissors;
  • file;
  • pumice;
  • forceps.

Before removing hardened heels, the skin of the feet is cleaned, softened by immersion in a soapy solution with the addition of salt. Then they take a pumice stone in their hands and rub the heels to remove the untidy rough "crust". After that, the cuticles of the nails are separated, cutting off or moving aside with a special wooden stick, the feet are treated with a scrub. If the client wishes, then after polishing her nails are painted. The procedure is considered complete when a nourishing cream is applied to the foot and a light massage is performed.

A good artist never shortens the nail plate "at the root", leaving a noticeable edge of the nail. He does this not because there is no other way, but to prevent the ingrowth of the nail into the skin.

- Japanese

The Japanese pedicure has one fundamental difference from all other techniques. Making it, the master uses natural and natural remedies (scrubs, herbal solutions, minerals, polishing pastes, base and essential oils, herbal bags). He does not process even the roughest skin of the feet with metal tools and synthetic devices. With the help of a gentle and delicate Japanese pedicure, disturbing small wounds on the legs are healed, cracks are removed, coarsened areas of the skin are softened, and corns and calluses are eliminated.

- European

The European pedicure has one nuance: when putting in order the foot, the master never cuts the cuticle, does not use water and metal tools. He works with special cosmetics. Their application softens the skin and cuticles. After applying a scrub, calluses, calluses are removed, and if it does not help, pumice is used. After applying the oil, they act on the cuticle, pushing it back with an orange stick. After staining the nails, a cream is applied to the foot.

Girls are reluctant to sign up for a European pedicure. Not everyone likes that the cuticle is pushed back rather than trimmed. Clients are afraid that their nails will soon look untidy. But if you do such a pedicure regularly, the cuticles will become thinner and the nails will not get a sloppy look even after three weeks.

- Hardware

Hardware pedicure is popular with girls with thin skin (for example, between the toes or in the cuticle area). Unlike the classic hardware pedicure, this is a dry method for treating the feet and toes. The master acts on the skin with a special device, which is an electric machine with different cutters. Depending on the model, the rotation speed and reverse of the machine will differ. Some have a built-in vacuum cleaner, which is responsible for collecting rough or keratinized skin particles.

Using a pedicure machine, the skin of the feet is smoothed, rather than cut off, as is the case with the classic pedicure procedure. Wide attachments treat the skin of feet and heels (dense layers of keratinized skin lend themselves better to this), and thin ones work on the fingers and in the cuticle area (they are intended for "jewelry" work). At the end of the treatment of the skin, the sites of exposure are subjected to grinding.

The best remedies for the procedure

The result directly depends on what products and cosmetics are used when making a pedicure.

- Oil with mint and sage Tasha

For steaming, they do not always keep their feet in warm water with shampoo, laundry soap or salt. Tasha oil not only effectively softens rough skin, giving the impression that everything is happening in a SPA-salon, but also accelerates blood flow, fights puffiness, refreshes and removes excessive dryness.

- Scrub from Organic Kitchen

It contains natural sugar and white currant seeds, which have an abrasive effect. Applying a product called "Crystal Slipper" to the feet, they soon notice that traces of peeling and dirt on them have disappeared. Other ingredients - rose oil and cranberry - make the skin smooth and soft.The maximum effect is achieved by holding the feet in water before applying it.

- MIKO nail oil

MIKO fatty oil cares for toenails. Lemon is one of the ingredients in this product that is responsible for giving them a healthy shine. Also contains rice bran oil, with the help of which they achieve softening and slowing down the growth of the cuticle; tea tree and manuka oils, which have antibacterial properties.

- Herbalife Emollient Cream

White Tea cream gently envelops the feet. It helps moisturize, soften and nourish the skin thanks to macadamia nut vitamins, shea butter, black currant seeds in the composition. The product is instantly absorbed and takes effect.

- Clean Line Care Cream

A sharp and awakening aroma of sea buckthorn emanates from the Intensive Nutrition product. Although it is inexpensive, it does an excellent job with nutrition and hydration. If you use the cream regularly, microcracks will heal and calluses soften.

- Remedy by Deborah Lippmann

Craftsmen often remove corns with a budget formula called Get Off. They bring their feet to perfection, removing the growths formed on the skin. All you need is to spray it on problem areas and remove atrophied skin particles with a suitable tool.

Professional advice

Foot care is an important procedure. While some hide imperfections in closed shoes and boots, others visit a beauty salon where they do a professional pedicure. It happens that the first ones would be happy to change something, but they are afraid of getting burned with the master. Experts give such advice:

  • Do not go to the first salon they come across. Craftsmen are not searched for by advertisements, and although praise on the Internet is taken into account, they do not completely trust them. It is better to find a specialist on the recommendations of acquaintances, girlfriends or relatives.
  • A real professional, as a rule, does not work for a pittance in a second-rate salon, does not huddle in a corner near the exit from a hairdressing salon. He has a spacious, bright office with quality equipment.
  • He works in special protective clothing (apron, kerchief, face mask), and not in tights with a T-shirt.
  • He undergoes a medical examination annually.
  • The master works strictly according to the technology, without deviating from it.
  • He uses a high-quality milling machine, and not the first one he came across, bought based on the results of reviews about the machines from the Internet. She has a capacity of 40 watts and above. Because otherwise, you will have to make efforts in order to process the foot without stopping the cutter (the optimal speed of its rotation should be 10-20 thousand rpm).
  • In order not to find it difficult to find a master and not to trust your feet to unfamiliar people, you can learn a professional pedicure by enrolling in special courses.

Original design ideas

Monochrome pedicure is still in vogue. It is considered a classic of the genre and an interesting solution for stylish nail-art. You don't have to paint your fingernails and toenails the same way. They paint them with different varnishes, but only so that the color on the legs matches what is on the hands.

Without a pattern (themes: floral prints, geometric patterns, abstractions, marble coating) nowhere. They decorate all or some of the toenails (on others, the coating is left monochromatic). The main thing is not to overdo it with the complexity of the patterns: the simpler and more concise they look, the better.

Toenails are given an oval, rectangular or rounded shape. When painting, two techniques are often combined (monochromatic coating + geometric pattern, jacket + pattern) and used to enhance the effect of rhinestones, stones, beads. In the trend colors: red, white, black, blue, blue, peach, pink, lilac, purple.
