• do not agree on travel dates - a surprise can become unpleasant if you did not know for sure about the plans and opportunities of a loved one.

But there are stories when a gift is definitely what a person dreams of, but financial capabilities do not yet allow this to be done.For example, your relative is a climber (possibly a beginner). And he dreams of making an ascent to a particular peak, but the question comes down to money.
