It is necessary to add a few words about caring for the finished growth rose. Foamed rubber flowers are not afraid of moisture or direct sunlight. However, they require proper storage and regular cleaning.
It is better to place a large flower in a transparent box of a suitable size, reliably protecting it from dust. If the rose is used only occasionally, then it can be stored in a cardboard box.
It is necessary to regularly wipe dust from an exposed flower, and remove dirt in hard-to-reach places with a small brush. It is also recommended to blow off dust from a growth rose by using an ordinary hair dryer.
Required inventory
As a rule, for the manufacture of a foamiran interior rose, a minimum set of materials and tools is required. First of all, we are talking about foamed rubber of the required shades (for the petals of the bud and flower leaves). Ready-made stamens can be purchased at specialized stores for needlewomen.
It is much more convenient to create flowers using a special template, which is usually cut from a sheet of cardboard. The pattern can be drawn independently, or ready-made, borrowed from the Internet or a magazine.
To process foamiran, you will need scissors, an awl and an iron, and individual elements will be fixed with a glue gun. A circle of felt may also come in handy, which will either be sewn with ordinary threads, or glued to the base-trunk with PVA glue.
How to do it yourself?
It is better to create flowers from foamiran with your own hands using a master class.
For example, it can be an interior floor tea rose, the diameter of which is about 65 centimeters, and the height reaches 180-200 centimeters. The finished decoration is suitable both for photo shoots and decorating the hall for the holiday, and simply for enlivening the interior.
Since it takes a lot of both materials and time to design a single bud, experts recommend that you first make a flower in miniature, and then go to its enlarged version.
It is also necessary to add that if the petals are fastened closer to each other, then the opened tea rose will transform into a closed version.
To form a flower, you need 0.5 standard green foamiran leaf and 4 pink leaves. The stem is formed on the basis of a three-meter metal-plastic pipe, as well as 6-7 newspaper or cardboard tubes.
The job would be impossible without instant glue and a gun, green tape, duct tape, green corrugated paper, stapler and cardboard.
First of all, a standard layer of pink-colored foamiran is folded in half and cut into 4 squares. It is necessary that the sides of the resulting blanks be equal to 30 and 35 centimeters. In total, 6 such squares are needed, and therefore 2 more will have to be cut from another sheet.
Blanks with sides of 30 and 35 centimeters are folded in half and used to cut the petals.
5 centimeters are cut from the remnants of the second pink sheet, after which the workpiece is cut in half. If everything is done correctly, then 2 more squares with sides of 30 centimeters should form.
In total, 6 copies are needed, and therefore we cut out 4 more from the third pink sheet. From the resulting blanks, petals are again cut out, the size of which should be 5 centimeters smaller than the previous ones. The fourth sheet of foamiran is divided into three parts so that rectangles with sides of 20 and 70 centimeters are formed. Measuring from the side 70 centimeters twice 26 centimeters, we get 6 rectangles with sides of 20 and 26 centimeters. The tea rose petals should be cut out of them again.
At the next stage, the edges of the petals must be stretched, making them wavy. Cut out the base of the growth flower from a piece of cardboard with sides of 20 centimeters. Round the edges of the part.
The bud is formed by fastening the individual petals with glue or a stapler, with the preliminary formation of folds. Parts are glued in a circle, slightly overlapping, and the components of different rows should be staggered. Cut out the petals for the core of the tea rose from the remnants of pink foamiran.
To form the base of a growth flower, it is necessary to twist newspaper and paper tubes, which are glued to the cardboard base with rays, forming the basis for a metal-plastic tube. The stem of the plant is formed with the help of green foamiran, corrugated paper and tape.
