All about flowers from foamiran on the wall

Being engaged in self-design of a photo zone or decorating a room for the holiday, it is worth considering the creation of a flower arrangement from foamiran. Bulky flowers attached to the wall are not difficult to make on your own, but they will look very impressive.

Decorative flowers on the wall are most often created from foamiran - a modern, environmentally friendly material. Its significant advantage is the ability to change its shape by heating, as well as to add volume to the finished product. A wide palette of shades allows you to create a design from voluminous wall buds of any kind. The pliable material is easy to cut and is held securely in place with hot glue. The finished products are distinguished by their attractive appearance, and they can be placed in almost any interior, from classic to Scandinavian.

It is customary to fill either a whole wall or some part of it with decor.

To create foamiran flowers, in addition to the material itself in different shades, you will need a stapler, hot glue and, as a rule, a base for the bud. Sheets should be selected with a thickness of 0.5 to 2 millimeters, giving preference to glitter and marshmallow varieties. The iron will be needed in the work to give the petals beautiful curves, and the molds will allow you to give them texture. With the help of flock powder, velvety is created on the surface of the stamens and leaves.

For example, you can create a giant abstract flower bud that doesn't even need a pattern.

• At the preparatory stage, the master will need to stock up on foamiran of different shades, a cardboard sheet, glue and scissors.
• Having independently made templates for petals of a standard rounded shape of different sizes, it is necessary to cut out 6 pieces of large, medium and small parts from colored material. A small incision is made at the base of each petal.
• Further, the tip of each will need to be given a beautiful bend in the direction away from you, using an iron heated to a minimum temperature.
• The finished petal is turned over, and its ends are glued together next to the notch to form a natural shape. Six large petals are interconnected in a circle with a slight overlap. Further, details of medium and smallest sizes are made in the same way. On the reverse side, for reliability, the bottom of the bud is glued with cardboard.
• A new leaf of foamiran is first folded in half and cut with a fringe on the side of the fold. Repeating this sequence with two more leaves, it is necessary to alternately twist one around the other to form a core. The finished stamens are fixed in the middle of the flower.

From foamiran, you can create not only abstract buds, but also chamomile, poppies, roses, cornflowers, peonies, lilies and many other varieties that look extremely realistic. It is necessary to combine them with each other in the same way as real plants. For example, a composition of wildflowers will perfectly fit into the interior in the Provence style, and for decorating a classic interior it is better to use roses and lilies.

An interesting solution is to dilute the flowers with ribbons with individual petals, or to attach the decor not immediately to the wall, but next to it under the ceiling using strings.
