It is made from soft elastic and porous rubber. Fom is easy to cut and can react with a change in shape even to the slightest heating. Thanks to this property, the material acquires an important quality - pliability. When hot, it can be pulled, rolled and rounded.

It goes on sale in the form of thin and soft layers of various shades, while in needlework, thin sheets with a thickness of about 1-1.5 mm are most often used.

Foamiran can be used to make a wide variety of toys, from dolls to flat pendants. All products are very realistic and stylish, each can be used as a memento to a loved one.

Dolls made of Thomas are considered the pinnacle of craftsmanship. They are much more budgetary than traditional versions of porcelain, wood and acrylic.That is why the material has become widespread in theatrical circles. But even outside the theater, such dolls have the right to life - they become children's toys or memorable souvenirs. In case of chafing, it simply begins to crumble from the surface of the toy. Therefore, acrylic paints can only be used to paint the thinnest elements, which, according to the author's idea, will be in a static position.
4. Scissors are required to cut the templates. For large parts, the most common tools are suitable, but for working out small elements it is better to use manicure models with curved blades.
5. In order to give the elements the necessary textures, you can use molds - most often they are cast from plastic... They have a rather rough and rough texture. If you do not have the necessary tool at hand, then use the usual embossed structured button.

Two figures of snowmen are drawn on a white foamiran, and they are fixed in the center of the resulting New Year's toy on both sides.

At the end of the master class, you can decorate the Star of Bethlehem. For this, a decorative tourniquet is laid along the edge of the product. By the way, this measure will additionally connect different elements of the star. Part of the braid can be used to form a loop - for it the toy will be hung on the Christmas tree.

Even the youngest needlewomen can make such a tree. You will need foamiran, several shades (green must be among them), as well as scissors and a conical paper blank. The work includes several steps.

1. First of all the workpiece is cut, they wrap a cone with it and fix its edges with glue.

2. The circles are slightly heated on the iron, after that they are pushed through with a rounded stack so that the elements become rounded. This way, you can get the scales for the buds.
3. After that, all that remains is to attach them to the styrofoam egg. You need to fix the details in a circle so that each subsequent row overlaps the previous one.

Most toys made from foamiran with their own hands are usually flat in shape. Thanks to this design, the figures can be placed on the refrigerator, attached to the bathtub or decorated with them on a small panel.
