Making chrysanthemums from isolon

If you want to decorate your home or apartment, you can make various decorative items with your own hands. Flowers made from different materials can become an excellent decoration. Today we will talk about how to make chrysanthemums from isolone.

Izolon is a relatively soft and elastic synthetic material. It is produced by foaming polyethylene. It is easy to work with this base, it can be given almost any desired shape.

Often large decorative compositions are made from isolon. At the same time, it is possible to make both small decorative items and whole growth figures from it. Sheets of such material can be painted in a variety of colors, which allows you to create colorful and multi-colored crafts.

It is quite easy to work with isolon, because it has a small mass. In addition, such material is completely safe for humans, it has a low level of vapor permeability and good resistance to possible mechanical damage.

Izolon is quite easy to find in stores, it has a relatively low cost. Such material will not generate an unpleasant chemical odor.

Isolon sheets are thin.

To craft chrysanthemums, you need a few things.

• Izolon. Working with such material does not require additional funds, but it is still recommended to use a hairdryer, because this material will easily acquire the shape that will be set when heated with hot air.
• Instruments. Scissors should be included in this group.To make it more convenient to work, it is better to choose such tools of a large size. Often, building samples or an assembly sharp knife are used to create crafts. Also, this includes a special glue gun, a stapler with staples.
• Dye. The composition should cover the finished craft. It is recommended to use acrylic paint or special paint pigment from a spray can.

Currently, there are a large number of different master classes for making chrysanthemums from isolone. To begin with, consider the simplest option that even a beginner can do.

• First you need to prepare the required templates. You can make all the blanks yourself, for this, 5 even circles of different sizes (5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 centimeters in diameter) are drawn on cardboard using a compass.
• All templates are transferred to a sheet of isolone and carefully cut them out. The edges of all blanks are given a wavy shape. This is done in order to create an imitation of chrysanthemum petals. After that, all the cut out elements are given the desired shape using a hair dryer.
• At the end, you should start assembling the flower. To do this, take the largest workpiece, glue smaller parts onto it. At the same time, you need to cut leaves for the future flower from a green isolone leaf. They are also shaped with hot air and curled slightly. The leaves are fixed on the back of the chrysanthemum.

If you want to create an unusual atmosphere for a festive celebration, then you can make growth chrysanthemums. To make such a flower, it is better to cut each petal separately according to ready-made templates.

• After that, all the petals are slightly bent along, so that outwardly they seem a little sharper. To make the stem of the future flower, it is better to take a plastic tube. A solid base is fixed on it, and then they proceed to pasting it with ready-made petals.
• First, small petals are fixed, bending them into the core. All other rows are attached in such a way that a checkerboard order is observed. The bud is completed with the largest elements.
• The place of gluing can be hidden with a sepal, which can also be made from a sheet of isolon. At the end, leaves are glued to the stem.
• Often, when making growth flowers, several petals are made in a different color scheme, they are glued in the middle of the bud to make the overall design more interesting.

Growing chrysanthemums will look good in tall massive vases or neat monochromatic plant pots. If you choose a background for photo shoots, then you can make several large flowers at once in different colors. But at the same time, all colors must be combined with each other.

Sometimes small table mini-lamps are made to decorate the interior. Often they are made of wood, glued in such a way that a composition looks like a small house. Chrysanthemums made from isolon are already glued to it. They will act as an unusual and beautiful decoration for light sources.

You can make a lamp in the form of one large chrysanthemum. To do this, you should prepare in advance more petals of different sizes. All of them are slightly bent along the direction.

Along with this, you need to prepare an unnecessary work lamp.

They begin to gradually glue this light source with finished petals, starting with the smallest and ending with the largest elements. From above, the middle can be left not pasted over so that the lamp illuminates the space well enough.

Previously, all the petals, if desired, can be painted with an acrylic compound.But at the same time, the light in the future may be slightly distorted due to too bright colors, therefore, most often the details are made from sheets of white isolon.

At the end, the base for the lamp can be cut out of the green isolon. It should be made in the form of an even circle, and then with hot air to give the desired shape so that the workpiece turns out to be like a sepal.

A lamp pasted over with petals is laid out on the base. On the sides, you can attach several small sheets made from the same green isolon.

To create a festive atmosphere or create decorations for a photo shoot, medium-sized artificial chrysanthemums in a vase can be suitable. To make this craft, you should cut a blank from a sheet of isolon, it should have a rectangular shape. Its dimensions should be 8x40 centimeters.

On one short side of the resulting rectangle, it is worth setting aside 4 centimeters and connecting to the corner of the opposite side. All unnecessary is cut off. The edge of the part is carefully cut into thin strips, not reaching the end by 1 or 1.5 centimeters.

The ends of the resulting straw are cut off at a slight angle. The edge of the element is carefully coated with an adhesive mixture and twisted. At the same time, you need to take a metal wire of small thickness and wrap it with corrugated paper.

Then, on one side of the metal wire, you need to make a small loop. The wire is carefully inserted into the middle of the bud, the loop should not be noticeable.

The base of the chrysanthemum is tightly tightened with a nylon thread. This will give the bud a more open shape. The bottom of the plant is cut out of the remains of the isolon. It is attached with an adhesive mixture.

According to the drawings, sheets are cut out of a green paper base. They are given the desired shape, gradually stretching their edges. The resulting parts are carefully attached to the stem of the plant. The middle of the chrysanthemum is treated with hairspray. At the end, all this is sprinkled with cosmetic glitter and re-fixed with varnish.

For a bouquet, you can create only three lush flowers. It is better to place all of them in a beautiful tall vase to end up with a harmonious and neat floral arrangement.

Using this technique, you can make several small chrysanthemums and place them in a flower pot. Such a flower arrangement can become a pleasant decoration for almost any interior.
