Isolon fluffy lamp is lighting fixture in the form of a large flower resembling a chrysanthemum. Its main feature is the use of isolone - polyethylene foam used for insulation.

For the manufacture of home decor, it is customary to choose stitched sheets with a thickness of 2 millimeters, which have improved characteristics due to preliminary processing. The soft material is easy to cut even with regular scissors. The main element of any isolon structure is the sheets of the insulating material itself. It is better to buy them with a margin, since the fluffy, as the name implies, requires abundant "hair".

To cut the sheets, ordinary scissors will do, and fixing the parts to the plastic shade will be done using a hot glue gun. To give the petals a bend, they will need to be slightly warmed up with a regular or building hair dryer. If the luminaire is planned for growth, then you need to pick up a polymer pipe, the diameter of which is from 40 to 50 millimeters.

In the absence of a plafond, you will need to prepare a plastic or pipe coupling, a cartridge with a ring and an LED light bulb. An insulated flexible wire of the required length, a switch and a plug are immediately purchased.

Making a fluffy lamp is much easier than any other Isolone flower... The fact is that its petals are ordinary elongated triangles of the same size. Having cut them according to the pattern in large quantities and giving a small bend with a hot tool, it remains only to fix them on the finished shade with hot glue.

The only thing that on a spherical base, it is preliminarily recommended to cut another hole opposite the existing one. The petals will first be glued around the circumference of just this additional hole. To do this, to form the core, you need to thickly enough - so that the elements seem to look at each other.

A fluffy lamp made on a sleeve or shade can be decorated in the shape of a flower standing in a pot. To do this, having made the bud itself according to the instructions, it will be necessary to make a sepal, to which the stem will be connected. In order for the structure to remain stable, this part is recommended to be made from a pipe inside which the wire will be laid.
