If you decide to start making a lamp from polyethylene foam, as izolon is also called, there may be several options. You can make a large flower that glows brightly or becomes a night light in your bedroom. If you love chamomile, why not make it from isolone, which is also suitable for making roses, lilies, chrysanthemums and double tulips.

The size of the floor lamp can be whatever you want, because the blanks are made according to personal preferences. A growth floor lamp in the shape of a tall plant will enliven the room, and the night lamp on the curbstone will look elegant and cozy. You should have at your disposal a plastic sleeve, the diameter of which corresponds to the lamp holder. You will need an LED lamp and a holder of the selected shape, transparency and power. For the luminaire to work, you need an insulated flexible wire, a plug and a switch.

As for the tools you will be working with, these should be a hairdryer and scissors, a thread with a needle, a glue gun and a stapler. The most crucial step is to attach the wire to the luminaire. As a stand, you can use a weighted container, it can be a basket or a pot filled with cement mortar, where the stem of the flower will be fixed. For artistic painting, you will need thin brushes, acrylic paints, a sponge and glossy varnish to create the dew effect - it all depends on the flight of your imagination.

The first step is to choose the type of flower, and then decide on its size and height. If you like roses, why not make a lamp in the shape of your favorite plant. The assembly of the plafond is a key step, since the petals of the future flower will be attached to it. The procedure consists of several steps. In this size, you need to make at least 12 parts. Then cut out 8 teardrop-shaped petals 20x20cm and 5 sepals with a size of 20x5cm, the tips of which have teeth on one side.

To make the rose flower look natural it is necessary to process each petal with a hairdryer and give it an artistic form. The material lends itself perfectly to thermal influences, so anything can be made from it. After cooling, the isolon takes on the form in which you left it.

After the elements are prepared, you can collect the bud for the floor lamp. Petals alternately and staggered are glued to the sleeve. The first row contains the smallest elements, then more and more. To ensure a long service life of flowers, it is recommended to use not only glue, but also to fasten the petals to each other with a stapler or to stitch in inconspicuous places. The thinner the isolone, the more petals you need for the bud to make the bud look lush.

Veins can be made on the leaves and petals by painting over them with a thin brush and acrylic paints. You can put a natural rose in front of you as an example, investigate its structure and convey this in your product.... A plastic or metal pipe is used as support, depending on what you have prepared. It is necessary to cut to the desired length and twist with a ring at one end (if it is a flexible pipe) so that the structure can stand. To give the stem a natural look, you need to bend it a little.

You can connect the wiring yourself, observing the rules of electrical work. The conductor is threaded through the cover and along the stem-tube. The upper part of the support must be glued to the sleeve using a gun. To hide traces of glue, it is enough to use previously prepared sepals and decorate the top of the stem. The bud itself with the shade is held together with strong glue. The flower will not look natural if there are no leaves. To do this, according to the same scheme, blanks are cut from a green isolone, a hair dryer is given a natural shape. Veins are also painted with a thin brush. You can create a dew effect by using glossy varnish as drops.

To get a working floor lamp, it is necessary to connect the lamp to the mains. For this, the cable is processed, its ends are stripped to connect them to the plug. If you plan to use a switch, the wire is also routed through it. Then it remains to screw a light bulb into the socket and check your lamp. In some cases, ice strips are used that are attached to the inner surfaces of flowers, this is suitable for nightlights.
