Flowers made of nylon and wire can be an excellent gift for the holiday. They will decorate the interior, make it more comfortable. From the material in this article, you will learn how and from what they are made, what techniques are used.

The main raw material for floristic decoration is nylon fabric... It is made on special equipment specifically for creativity. This raw material is strong and durable, it is thin and transparent. Its texture is varied: monochromatic, multi-colored, delicate, shiny.

Floristic nylon is perfectly stretched, while it does not deform when pulled onto the frame. It is sold in cuts, the length of which is about 50–85 cm. This amount is quite enough, since in a stretched form the length of the cut increases to one and a half meters. In the absence of such a nylon, nylon knee-highs, socks, tights are used, giving them the desired shade with the help of acrylic paint.

Wire, used in the work, differs in pliability, variety of colors, thickness, rigidity, texture.

For example, for the petals, the thinnest wire is taken, which is easier to bend, giving the required shape. For the stems, a denser and more rigid material is used.

The wire for making flowers has a different surface texture. It can be standard, lint-free, paper-braided, and fluffy. It is not difficult to make flowers from nylon and wire with your own hands, taking the master's lesson as a basis. Any master class in needlework consists of a series of sequential steps. First, you need to make the basic elements of the composition, and then collect them step by step. Masters make compositions according to well-established schemes.

The very principle of operation is not too different from the assembly of flowers from textiles. The key difference will be the manufacture of a wire frame and pulling nylon on it. For the manufacture of petals, templates of the required size, thin wire and nylon of the desired shade are prepared. The wire is wrapped around the template, its ends are twisted with pliers. When the elements are ready, they begin to assemble the flower. Form the stem, adding to it, in addition to flowers, oblong leaves.Wrap it with tape at an angle, trying to do it as neatly and tightly as possible. As the wrapping is completed, the tape is cut.

According to this scheme, you can make bouquets of different colors, decorating windows, curtains and even wallpaper with them. Delicate orchids, bells, daisies, snowdrops. In addition, using this technique, you can make not only artificial flowers for decoration, but also hair ornaments, as well as brooches. For example, it can be headbands with roses, lilies, poppies, tiaras and even elastic bands.

There are some nuances when creating orchids. The flower consists of 6 wire loops with legs 2.5 cm long, one petal has the length of the stem equal to the length of the stem. The frames of the petals are made of wire No. 22 and a 3.5 cm template. The loops are pulled into a drop shape, one is made oval. Half of them are covered with white and purple nylon, half with green. After that, the stems are wrapped with tape. Leaves are made using large templates, after which the roots are made by wrapping the wire with white and green tape.

After that, the wrapped wire is bent into a spiral shape and connected at the base. Then they start assembling the flower, starting with green buds. Leaves are connected in pairs, fastening to the stem with tape. When the flower is ready, it is "planted" in a prepared pot of moss.

When making flowers from nylon and wire, you can take into account a few tips from experienced craftsmen. For example, they advise taking material of different shades for winding, including related shades. This allows you to create flowers with the most naturalistic look. In this case, the stamens and the middle are also recommended to be taken as realistic as possible.

If it is difficult for beginners to assemble elements with threads, you can also use a hot glue gun. In this case, it is better to buy a model for narrow rods - it is more convenient to work with it, and the consumption of glue for such products is more economical.

The type and color of the wire are of great importance. Sometimes it is they who give a special effect to the product. If you need a corrugated edge, it is better to buy a thinner material.

With regard to the thickness of the wire, it has a significant impact on the quality and aesthetics of the work. Do not take too thick and stiff wire if a small flower is being made.... You need to bend it very carefully, since the tape will not hide all the defects in the winding. In this case, the stem or petals will look rough, unrealistic.

You should not save on nylon, despite the fact that it can be painted. Craftswomen advise buying several shades of material at once. In this case, the basic kit must include white, green and brown colors. The rest of the shades depend on the type of flowers you want to make. Usually these are pink, purple, lilac tones.

The complex shape of the petals is made according to different schemes. For example, when a corrugated edge is needed, the wire is first folded and only after that a frame is made from it.Often, petals are created from 4 wire strands. To do this, 2 thin wires are cut in half and twisted in the middle.

Then they form double petals of various shapes. A wavy edge on large petals can be done after the wireframe has been created.

When making flowers, one should not forget about the whole composition. Single products can be attached to tulle, mini-flowers - to hairpins, brooches, hair ties.
