As a craft, as well as for a beautiful table setting, you can make a bunny or rabbit from a paper napkin. You can also use a cloth to create a figurine. The main thing is to get acquainted with the proposed master classes and prepare all the necessary materials.

Crafting from paper napkin

Before you start creating crafts, you need to prepare a napkin. In order to make the bunny more effective, it is recommended to choose a colored napkin.

It is better to choose the size of the canvas not large, and not small: 30x30 cm is the best option.

To fold a beautiful figure, you need to spread the napkin in front of you on a flat surface. Initially, the canvas is square. It must be folded in half, and then again in half in the longitudinal direction. You should get a rectangular strip.

Further, the folding scheme in stages looks like this.

  • It is necessary to shape the ears of the future bunny. To do this, fold each side down. As a result of these actions, you should get a figure that resembles an airplane. The workpiece is clearly shown in photo No. 1.
  • Then you need to make two more folds from the bottom of the figure soto turn it into a square. Photo No. 2.
  • At this stage, it is necessary to make the workpiece even narrower. To do this, you need to make one more fold on each side. As a result, the figure should take on the same appearance as shown in photo # 3.
  • Now the figurine needs to be turned over. It is necessary to make a muzzle for the animal. To do this, you need to bend the upper corner down as shown in photo No. 4.
  • At the final stage, the workpiece is closed in a ring, fixing it by connecting opposite ends at the base. To make the craft look attractive, it is necessary to straighten the muzzle, as a result of which it should turn out as shown in photo No. 5.

It is noteworthy that the folding of the figure takes place using the origami technique, that is, without the use of glue and other auxiliary devices. If you practice, then from the most ordinary paper napkin in a few minutes you can roll up a beautiful and interesting bunny.

Folding the Cloth Rabbit

A hare or rabbit can be folded not only from paper, but also from a cloth napkin. In order to do this, it is necessary to prepare the following materials and accessories:

  • a square-shaped cloth napkin (if you wish, you can use a terry towel, then the figure will turn out to be more plush);

  • stationery (it is better if it matches the selected material);

  • eyes and nose (ordinary beads can be used);

  • decorative satin ribbon;

  • ponytail pom-poms;

  • scissors;

  • glue gun.

When everything you need is prepared, you can go directly to the process of making a rabbit. The step-by-step algorithm is as follows.

  • Place the napkin on a flat surface with the wrong side down. Diagonally, you need to connect two opposite corners. Roll the resulting triangle into a tube.
  • At this stage, the body of the figure will be formed, therefore, the resulting tube must be placed as shown in photo No. 6.
  • The ends must be connected together, and then tightened with a clerical elastic band. This stage of work is clearly shown in photo No. 7.
  • Now, using a glue gun, you need to glue the pom-pom-tail. Location - oval fold.
  • And you also need to decorate the face, for this you need to glue the eyes and nose.

At the final stage, you need to decorate the figurine with a satin ribbon, and tie its ends into a beautiful bow.

The result of the work is clearly shown in photo No. 8.

Recommendations

In order to significantly facilitate the work and reduce time costs, it is recommended to prepare all the necessary materials and devices in advance.

And also you need to follow useful recommendations.

  1. If it was decided to make a hare out of a paper napkin, then it is better to choose a more durable material. A number of problems can arise with a soft paper towel: it breaks when bent, does not hold its shape, wrinkles too much. Of course, even in this case, you can try to make a figurine, but it is unlikely that it will turn out as attractive as you would like.

  2. When making a rabbit, it is best to choose a light-colored napkin or towel, as in this case the figure will be clear and attractive.

  3. Do not fold the figure too tight, as it should have an airy appearance.

  4. When working with a glue gun, you should be extremely careful, as it can easily stain the craft in an unwanted place.

All materials that you plan to use to create the shape must be clean.

If you follow the recommendations and carefully study the master classes, you will get very cute and neat crafts.
