Crafts "Mushroom" from paper
Paper crafts are fun not only for children (pre) school age. Adults can also create paintings and art sketches based on all kinds of crafts. As an example, a mushroom made from decorative paper.
How to make a fly agaric?
To make a fly agaric craft, you need:
- red, white and green cardboard;
- red and white paper;
- scissors;
- stationery glue;
- regular student ruler;
- simple pencil.
It is recommended to focus on standard A4 sheets of paper - the scale is selected according to it. As an example, the height of a paper fly agaric is 9.5 cm.To make a mushroom cap, you need a strip of red cardboard measuring 22 * 2 cm.The width of the elements in this case is 2 cm. The process of making a mushroom cap is as follows.
- Having cut off the strip, bend it from the ends by 1 and 9 cm.
- Glue the ends - a contour of the mushroom cap is formed.
- To fill the space of the mushroom cap with tubes - this is the structure of a real fly agaric - cut strips of white and red paper, with a width of up to 3.5 cm. You will need more than 20 of these rolled-up strips. Red will take noticeably more. Cut these strips into rectangles no more than 2 cm wide.
- Glue the tubes from these pieces. A pencil will speed up the work - you can fold pieces of colored and white paper around it. You do not need to give the bend a faceted sharpness. Gluing the tubes does not take long when the glue is thick and dries quickly. A beginner in this business will acquire the necessary skill in less than a few minutes.
- Glue the finished tubes in rows, with each other, forming the structure of the mushroom cap. Fill in the outline of the hat.
To make a stem of a mushroom, do the following.
- Prepare a 16 * 2 cm strip of white cardboard.
- Bend the ends of the tapered sides 1 cm.
- Attach the folded ends to the middle of the bottom side of the cap. There should be no sharp bend on the leg - from the opposite end, which is located below.
- Form a thickening of the fly agaric in the middle of the stem. To do this, you need a strip of cardboard measuring 2 * 13 cm. Fold this strip like an accordion. Uniform and identical folds are optional.
- Attach this accordion in the middle of the mushroom stem.
The mushroom is ready.
You can supplement it with artificial grass made of green paper - this will allow the fly agaric model to hold steadily at one point of support.
DIY basket with mushrooms
To make baskets with mushrooms from colored paper you need:
- colored paper and the same cardboard;
- scissors;
- simple pencil;
- glue.
This process is presented step by step as follows. For example, bluish cardboard is taken as a background. We make several - maybe a dozen - miniature mushrooms according to the previous instructions, for example, aspen mushrooms, using white and brownish paper. You can make and stick several flat layouts of mushrooms by cutting out only semicircular caps and legs close to an oval shape. The more mushrooms, the less scaled - for A4 sheet - each of them.
To depict a basket, cut about 40 strips of 2 * 8 cm. The color of the paper can be any - it is permissible to use warm pastel colors. Glue them into rings. Stick one by one until a three-dimensional image of the basket is formed. Position and glue the rings in such a way that the mock-ups of the mushrooms look out of them.
The autumn theme of a basket of mushrooms can be complemented by small fallen leaves, such as maple. Cut out models of the same maple leaves from squares of yellow-orange paper 5 * 5 cm in size. Stick them around the basket in a place free from the main sketch of the basket with mushrooms. The volumetric image (layout) is prepared.
More ideas
For children in kindergarten, as well as adolescents in labor lessons in lower grades, the following, more complex, but at the same time more exciting application on the theme of a mushroom meadow is offered. Despite the apparent complexity, this application includes the following steps:
- lining up mushrooms in one line, on the same level;
- cutting out the grass contour.
A4 sheet - the background of the applique - is placed horizontally, that is, landscape is used instead of portrait. Mushrooms are made either voluminous or flat. But it is more difficult to make the grass voluminous compared to flat: you will need to glue an accordion or "fence" along each line of contact with the background paper. But young applicators learn very quickly - skill and efficiency are acquired by novice masters literally overnight.
It is strongly recommended in all cases to use environmentally friendly paper and glue that are practically harmless to the health of children and adolescents.
