Crafts "Cipollino" from vegetables
Cipollino is a well-known character. This is the hero of the story "The Adventures of Cipollino" by the Italian writer Gianni Rodari. He appears in many cartoons, and children treat him with great warmth. I want to read and reread the stories about Cipollino - what is only Signor Tomato with a face that is about to crack! Or a little godfather Blueberry. The heroes of an adventure fairy tale are definitely to the liking of children, and they are eager to create their own favorite heroes.
How to make from pumpkin?
Crafts may be needed in a kindergarten or school, or maybe you just want to join the child and spend time working together interestingly. As a rule, the school is asked to make work from vegetables, and pumpkin comes in handy. Since it somewhat resembles the head of Cipollino, you can take this material as a basis.
To make a cartoon character you will need:
-
decorative pumpkin - 2 pieces for the body and head, 1 small for shoes;
-
acrylic or gouache paints;
-
glue (preferably a heat gun);
-
thick colored paper (or sheet felt);
-
decorative elements (optional);
-
wire;
-
foam rubber;
-
scissors;
-
brush;
-
awl (just in case).
Let's list the stages of work.
-
We take a pumpkin and draw on it face: eyes, cheeks, mouth and hair. You can see what the original character looks like.
- Nose you can also draw, or you can show originality and make it out of felt.
- We are waiting for drying, and then we cut out along the outlined lines the straps for pants, a tail, handles and sleeves, a collar. For your reference, felt is not very easy to work with. It is best to use thick colored paper.
- For the second pumpkin glue the "tail", the straps from the trousers and the collar... Paint half of the pumpkin with black paint in advance (can be replaced with another color if desired).
- With skewers or wire we connect the head and torso.
- Legs Cipollino can be made of foam rubber - just cut out a little material and twist it into a tube. Cover with glue.
- Attach to the legs shoes... We make them from a small pumpkin, after cutting out all the seeds. We fix it with wire. We put the legs on the wire and attach the soles to the shoes (they can be made of felt).
-
Glue to the body pens and legs.
Further actions depend on your imagination. You can additionally decorate Cipollino by attaching buttons or decorating a collar. It all depends on your imagination.
Making from a bow
An onion is a product that is found in almost every home. From it you can make with your own hands not only Cipollino, but also Cipoletta! Thanks to such interesting crafts, you will get the feeling that a fairy tale has come to life.
In the case of Chipoletta, a sewn skirt is put on the bottle, the bulb (head) is placed on the top of the bottle and hair made of yarn is glued. Cipollino is even easier to create.
Craft "Cipollino" in kindergarten
To create a hero you will need:
-
green onions;
-
jar (you can have a plastic cup);
-
onion;
-
paper;
-
pencils and markers.
Here's how to do it.
-
A tin can is suitable for the torso.
-
We fit a sheet of paper to the size of the can. We draw on it a Cipollino costume: pants with suspenders, a white shirt, shoes.
-
We wrap the jar with a sheet with a picture and glue it.
-
We draw the hero's face on the bulb with felt-tip pens: a smile, eyes, nose, eyebrows and cheeks.
-
Cut a hole in the onion and insert the green onions.
Optionally, you can additionally decorate Cipollino by gluing buttons and making shoes separately. But even without this, the craft turns out to be bright and gives preschoolers positive emotions.
Crafts to school
There is another interesting option for creating Cipollino - the main character of the tale by Gianni Rodari... This cheerful young man saved his friends from Signor Tomato, which is why many were imbued with sympathy for him. Cipollino for this master class will turn out to be very bright and will pleasantly surprise the teachers.
To create Cipollino you will need:
-
a can of baby vegetable puree (can be replaced with any other similar one);
-
a piece of fabric (satin or velvet will look most beautiful);
-
satin thin ribbon;
-
soil for vegetables (soil);
-
bulb;
-
plasticine.
Stages of work:
-
first of all, fill the jar with earth, wrap it with a cloth and shove the edges inside;
-
wrap the neck with a satin ribbon;
-
now let's take care of the bulb - with the help of plasticine we sculpt eyes with pupils, a nose and a mouth;
-
we attach all the details to the onion (this will be the head);
-
we lower our head into the neck of a can of earth;
-
bright craft is ready!
You don't need to use cloth to decorate the jar; you can wrap it in newspaper or scrapbooking paper. Connect your imagination to make an original craft.
Useful Tips
Vegetable crafts are usually created for the purpose of displaying them at an exhibition in a kindergarten or school. Considering that they will be on public display, it is important to take care of the quality of the materials: nothing should come off in Cipollino, if fabric is used, threads should not stick out, and husks should not come off the bulb.
For the "Cipollino" craft made from vegetables, it is important to take care of the quality of the products directly. The craft bulb should have an attractive appearance, resemble the shape of the head of the cartoon protagonist and, of course, be fresh (without mold). You can take ideas from the article for a note and develop them according to your scenario, for example, change the colors of the materials to your taste, add rhinestones or buttons.
From spending time creating crafts, the child develops creative thinking and taste.Children engage in creativity with great pleasure - it is important to give them freedom of imagination and purchase a large number of decorative items. Using ordinary vegetables, some people manage to create whole worlds: houses, carriages with animals. Get inspired, harvest and go!
