Crafts "Cipollino" from vegetables

Cipollino is a well-known character. This is the hero of the story "The Adventures of Cipollino" by the Italian writer Gianni Rodari. • decorative pumpkin - 2 pieces for the body and head, 1 small for shoes;

• acrylic or gouache paints;

• glue (preferably a heat gun);

• thick colored paper (or sheet felt);

• decorative elements (optional);

• foam rubber;

• We take a pumpkin and draw on it face: eyes, cheeks, mouth and hair. You can see what the original character looks like.

• Attach to the legs shoes... We make them from a small pumpkin, after cutting out all the seeds. We fix it with wire. We put the legs on the wire and attach the soles to the shoes (they can be made of felt).

• green onions;

• jar (you can have a plastic cup);

Here's how to do it.

1. A tin can is suitable for the torso.

2. We fit a sheet of paper to the size of the can. We draw on it a Cipollino costume: pants with suspenders, a white shirt, shoes.

3. We wrap the jar with a sheet with a picture and glue it.

4. We draw the hero's face on the bulb with felt-tip pens: a smile, eyes, nose, eyebrows and cheeks.

5. Cut a hole in the onion and insert the green onions.

Stages of work:

1. first of all, fill the jar with earth, wrap it with a cloth and shove the edges inside;

2. wrap the neck with a satin ribbon;

3. now let's take care of the bulb - with the help of plasticine we sculpt eyes with pupils, a nose and a mouth;

4. we attach all the details to the onion (this will be the head);

5. we lower our head into the neck of a can of earth;

6. bright craft is ready!

Vegetable crafts are usually created for the purpose of displaying them at an exhibition in a kindergarten or school. Considering that they will be on public display, it is important to take care of the quality of the materials: nothing should come off in Cipollino, if fabric is used, threads should not stick out, and husks should not come off the bulb.
