Plasticine playground
Plasticine playground can be created with minimal effort. You just need to know how to make a slide with your own hands and how to mold a sandbox. You also need to pay attention to the key features of sculpting in general.
Modeling features
The most important feature of such a composition is that it can only be created in a volumetric version. No, technically it is possible to sculpt a playground on cardboard. However, it will not look very convincing. It is also worth emphasizing that it is permissible to use plasticine in a variety of colors and shades.
Finally, the very appearance of the playground being created strongly depends on the imagination of the lovers of modeling, and you can flexibly vary it at your discretion.
Tools and materials
But still, some recommendations can be given. So, in any case, you need flesh-colored plasticine to paint the open parts of the children at play. Blue-blue and green colors are used for the background image. The rides on the site will have a woody or metallic color, depending on the choice of decorators.
Additionally you will need:
- plasticine of other shades (for drawing clothes and balls, the sun in the sky and other small details);
- stack (for preparing fingers and giving relief to stucco figures);
- a set of toothpicks (for some small jobs);
- special board for modeling;
- a kitchen rolling pin or bottle are great helpers in rolling out material;
- knife;
- a bucket of water (a washed mayonnaise can is also suitable);
- some other adaptations - but they are already chosen independently as they gain experience.
Step-by-step instruction
If you decide to make a playdough out of plasticine, you can equip it with a sandbox and a swing.
The technique is as follows:
- make a swing blank from ice cream sticks;
- immediately paste plasticine on them so that they hold firmly;
- create a play area;
- frame and decorate the space - so that there is a sky with clouds and the sun, trees, grass with flowers.
But you can also dazzle the winter version of the playground with your own hands.... Then the slide will naturally come to the fore in the composition. It is most often created not from plasticine (nevertheless, it would be too laborious), but from cardboard. The surface is pasted over with napkins. Plasticine athletes stand on skis made of aluminum foil, and they will repel themselves with toothpicks imitating sticks.
It is worth dwelling especially on the elaboration of skiers' figures. Clothes can be of any color. But it is imperative to work out red mouths and crimson cheeks. Giving the figures volume is achieved through padding polyester or cotton wool. For skiers, you will also have to fashion green caps decorated with pom-poms of a different color.
The next steps:
- face shaping (according to the "eyes - nose - mouth - cheeks - eyebrows" scheme);
- torso preparation;
- connecting it to the head;
- dressing up clothes;
- modeling of feet and shoes worn on them;
- sculpting skis (their color is not specified in any way);
- the final connection of the previously mentioned parts;
- sculpting mittens from a pair of flattened circles - it should seem that the skier is acting with sticks.
If you need to make a summer sandbox, then the combination of plasticine with cereals is taken as a basis.
This method has proven itself many times. The platform prepared in this way can be safely used in the game with children. The choice of toys is at your discretion. A plastic plate is taken as a basis.
The bottom is covered with green plasticine from the inside. It will have to be cut with a stack to form the texture of the growing grass. Recommendation: you can sculpt an additional 1-2 simple flowers to make the composition look more convincing. It is also necessary to make a "house", because without it the site looks unfinished, it seems that something is missing. For work, you will need a weighty piece of plasticine - you should not regret it.
This mass is flattened, making sure that the thickness of the square is about 1-1.5 cm. Otherwise, the building will seem lightweight and destroy the whole idea. The children's house is placed on the prepared grass - but it must remain completely visible and not obscured by this structure.
The following important points:
- the formation of a "window" from peas;
- rolling plasticine sausages;
- connecting them in such a way as to imitate real sandboxes and swings;
- filling the sandbox with yellowish grits denoting sand.
