This article describes how you can make a ship from plasticine, and how to make a military boat for children. Attention is paid to how to mold a pirate ship with your own hands in stages. The step-by-step modeling of the sailboat is also characterized.

How to make a pirate frigate?

The romance of travel across distant seas and mysterious countries has accompanied people for many centuries. And this childish interest must be used to the fullest. Making a pirate fleet frigate by sculpting is very exciting, and the result is worth it. Such a craft can be especially interesting for those who are tired of sculpting monotonous figures and cars. The frigate is usually made from brown and black plasticine.

Even blue is not always needed, because white material can be used instead. The dark mass needs to be kneaded in the hands. Then, between their palms, it is pulled in length.

The edges of the part should be narrower than its middle part.

The next steps to make a frigate step by step are as follows:

  • the formation of a cake similar in contour to a fish;
  • arrangement of a body of 3 or 4 "sausages" of brown material;
  • creating a bottom from a plasticine cake;
  • attaching an additional oval cake to it at an angle of 90 degrees;
  • fastening long strips that go around the edge of the bottom;
  • fixing a dark mass on the nose of a future storm of the seas;
  • decoration of blue or white material 1-2 sails;
  • fastening the rod of a pen or an unnecessary pencil, on which (to create an almost full-fledged semblance of a mast) brown pieces will have to be glued;
  • connection of masts with sails;
  • adding a third mast for a more complete imitation of a real frigate;
  • the installation of a black flag on the highest of the masts (or a red flag, or any flag of the great naval powers of the time: pirates used all of them);
  • attachment to one of the sides of the anchor (they take yellow plasticine for it).

How to mold a warship?

Despite all the fascination of the pirate theme, floating models of modern and historical ships of various navies can be just as interesting. It is not easy to sculpt them, because the detail will be much greater than in the previous case. But then there is already a true help: real photographs of certain warships. To fashion a warship in stages, you will need:

  • match;
  • stack;
  • black, blue, gray, yellow and red plasticine.

Gray plasticine will play the main role. It is from it that the main part of the hull and a flat deck are made. Warming up the mass with your hands is not required. The finished bar is pressed with fingers from two edges. After waiting for the plasticine to warm up, they pull sharp edges on both sides.

If there is no desire to wait, they simply cut off the mass, demonstrating the configuration of the shuttle.

The next steps are as follows:

  • a bar and a couple of round cakes are prepared from the remaining gray fragments;
  • fix these blanks to the deck;
  • connect the cakes to each other;
  • form rocket blanks in the form of gray cylinders;
  • warheads (yellow) are glued;
  • glue rockets to the bow of the ship;
  • another rocket is placed behind;
  • make a mast and a flag for it (the principles are the same as for the frigate).

DIY sailboat modeling

But the romanticism of travel for children is attractive even in and of itself. Many do not want to get involved with either military or filibuster topics. An excellent choice in this case is a simple graceful sailboat. The body is no longer made of gray, but of brown plasticine. He will again have to give it a rectangular shape and stretch the top.

The formation of the sides, bow and stern must be done carefully. The middle sections of the sides will have to be trimmed. Good models have a stern and bow above center, just like in real sailing fleets. The drawing of the hull plating is facilitated by a plastic knife. It is not necessary to form gun ports: they are not needed for a peaceful sailing ship, therefore you can refuse them.

But the drawing of decks and stairs should be detailed. The masts are formed from wire. Important: the tallest is placed in the center of the sailboat, and the lowest is placed at the stern. A piece of toothpick placed on the nose symbolizes the bowsprit. All masts are then equipped with sails. In order not to sculpt again, use paper.

The tops of the sails are pasted over with thin brown stripes. You can hold the sails by sticking them with a small amount of plasticine from the inside. The dark blue thread will simulate ropes. These ropes are wound on all masts. Nothing more is required.

There are also such recommendations:

  • to form round blue windows;
  • roll out massive plasticine parts on boards using rolling pins;
  • to prevent adhesion of the mass, use cling film;
  • thoroughly level all surfaces of the sculpted ships;
  • if desired, supplement your ship with figures of sailors, captains and passengers, cabins and lifebuoys, boats and chimneys (if a steamer is being molded).
