Making a nesting doll from plasticine

Everyone knows what a matryoshka looks like. The figurine has simple outlines, and even a kid can mold it from plasticine. And then the difficulties begin, because you need to correctly perform the face, scarf, sundress, using small details. To create a nesting doll, you need imagination and at least basic drawing skills. Consider several ways to make a famous beauty from plasticine.

It is useful for children to engage in modeling from plasticine, with its help, hand motor skills, thinking, perseverance, and imagination develop. If the child is too young, help him in this wonderful business. We offer to make an applique doll on cardboard and place it on an ice cream stick. You will get a toy for a puppet show. So, we explain step by step what needs to be done.

First, collect the necessary materials. In order for the matryoshka to turn into a beautiful young lady, it needs to be decorated, therefore, in addition to cardboard and plasticine, we need buttons, beads, beans, plastic eyes. For work, also prepare scissors, a stack, paper tape and an ice cream stick.

Draw the outline of the matryoshka on the cardboard. The upper part (head) should be smaller than the lower part (torso). Cut out the figurine carefully. Roll out a flagellum from red plasticine, use it to lay out a circle indicating the oval of the face.

Prepare plates of red material and fill them in the head and the top of the shoulders, excluding the face. Smear the resulting scarf well with your fingers.

Start working on a multi-colored sundress from the upper body. Place the yellow and orange tourniquets under the scarf. Fill in the central part of the figure with a wide pink plate. From the bottom, again decorate the sundress with orange and yellow plaits.Fill the rest of the lower part of the matryoshka with red plasticine.

Let's work on the face. Attach the plastic eyes with glue. Line your eyebrows with thin orange stripes above them. From the material of the same color, make two small round cakes, position them in place of the cheeks. In the center of the face, glue a yellow nose, and under it - red lips.

Much less material is required for plasticine painting than for the manufacture of a volumetric nesting doll. A plastic bottle will help to get out of the situation, which will fill the entire space, only the surfaces will be covered with plasticine.

For work, we need the upper part of a plastic bottle no more than 15 cm high, a stack and plasticine. White will be the most demanded color, it should be prepared 1.5-2 bars. Take a white ball of plasticine, knead it well in your hands until it becomes soft. Gradually, step by step, coat the entire surface of the bottle, except for the cap. Try to make the coating even and smooth, it will become the base of the skirt.

Cover the lid with red plasticine, it will become a blouse for our young lady. On the skirt, mark the apron with a stack. Blind a proportional round ball (head) and neck, attach to a blouse. Make thin blue plasticine cords and decorate the skirt with vertical stripes.

To further decorate the skirt, prepare round green cakes with yellow circles in the center, as well as a large number of orange peas. Place them in vertical stripes, alternating with each other: a row of green elements, a row of orange ones.

Prepare a ruffle from a flat plait and glue it along the contour of the apron. Make the sun an orange cake with a yellow circle in the middle, and place it in the center of the apron. Instead of rays around the sun, attach flattened peas.

Cover the matryoshka's head with a piece of brown plasticine. From two plaits of the same color, roll a pigtail and wrap it around the young lady's head. Form hands from red plasticine, and a kokoshnik from blue. Use the red and black material to depict the eyes, nose and mouth. Matryoshka is ready.

Our advice will be useful to those who have just started to master plasticine modeling. For creativity to be successful, we suggest paying attention to several recommendations:

• oilcloth or plastic board prepared for sculpting will help keep the table clean;
• you can warm up the plastic material not only with your hands, but also by lowering it in hot water for several minutes;
• Beads, buttons, ribbons, natural materials (leaves, pebbles, shells) will help to decorate the work from plasticine;
• in order to preserve plasticineography for a long time, it should be covered with a colorless varnish;
• hands are easier to wash after work if you wipe them with a napkin.
