How to sculpt insects from plasticine?
One of the most useful and entertaining activities for children of preschool and primary school age is plasticine modeling. It stimulates the development of the child's imagination and creativity. Sculpting various figures is always interesting and informative. In the process of sculpting, the baby gets better acquainted with various representatives of the animal world.
It is best to choose as an image something that the child is already familiar with, for example, insects. Such crafts turn out to be very colorful, but easy to do.
Even a kindergartner can mold a funny caterpillar or a beautiful butterfly.
Dragonfly sculpting
Every child has watched a fast and agile dragonfly at least once in his life. Its multi-colored wings are hard to miss. The kid will definitely be delighted with the idea of making a dragonfly. Since this type of insect is found in a variety of shades, ask in advance about the color of the craft. The brighter it is, the better.
For sculpting you will need:
- a set of colored plasticine;
- a special board (ensures the table is clean, teaches the child to order);
- stack and knife;
- colored cardboard.
The step-by-step process of work is as follows.
- We propose to make our dragonfly from two colors: blue and purple. To begin with, we will prepare three blocks of plasticine of different colors: white, blue and a small piece of purple.
- Of blue form an oval (future body), and from purple we make an elongated "sausage" - the tail of a dragonfly.
- We connect two parts into one. We make an incision at the tip of the tail. Draw a stack of stripes over the entire surface of the tail.
- We sculpt a ball from purple plasticine and we connect it with the body.
- Big bulging eyes - a special feature of this insect. We make them from two white balls, which we place on the head of the figurine. We make small dots in the center of the eyes from blue plasticine. The eyes are ready.
- White plasticine is needed to create wings., which should be two pairs of different sizes. Draw veins on top.
- We fasten the wings to the sides of the body.
- We take any color of cardboard (it is better to choose a contrasting one so that the figure is not lost) and put the finished craft on it.
The dragonfly is ready! The figurine is bright and cheerful.
How to make a caterpillar?
A multi-colored caterpillar is one of the simplest plasticine crafts. The huge advantage of this image will be the ability to choose the color scheme yourself.
To mold a caterpillar, you will need:
- a set of plasticine (the more colors, the better);
- modeling board;
- stack;
- toothpick;
- a leaf on which we will plant the finished caterpillar.
Consider the step-by-step process of creating a craft.
- Forming seven balls different sizes from yellow, orange, red, violet and blue tones (in descending order).
- We connect all the balls into a single compositionwhere yellow will be the head of our caterpillar, and purple will be the tip of the body. We sculpt them in such a way that the head of the caterpillar is suspended.
- We sculpt the legs future caterpillar. Roll out black plasticine into a thin long "sausage" and divide it into 12 pieces of the same size.
- To each ball on the sides we sculpt the legs (except for the head).
- Of two white balls we shape the eyes, stick two black balls of even smaller size in the center. We make a nose from a small black ball. Draw a smile in a stack.
- Divide the toothpick in half and insert it into the crown of the caterpillar. We stick two purple balls on the tips. We put the finished figurine on a piece of paper.
Our mischievous caterpillar is ready!
How to mold a ladybug?
We offer instructions with which you can gradually mold a ladybug from plasticine.
To do this, you need the following tools:
- a set of plasticine;
- modeling board;
- stacks.
The work process is as follows.
- We take plasticine of red, black and white colors... And we form three balls from it. Red should be larger than the rest - this is the body of the insect.
- Next, we connect the black and red balls: head and body of a ladybug. We flatten the resulting figure a little so that it is stable.
- On the head we make two indentations under the eyes. We form two balls of white plasticine and two black cakes of an even smaller size. We make our ladybug eyes. Draw the mouth with the help of a stack.
- We take black plasticine and form 6 small balls of the same size. Roll a thin "sausage" the size of the body from one more piece of black tone.
- We sculpt the resulting "sausage" along the body.
- On both sides sculpt black balls and flatten them a little.
