How to mold Pikachu from plasticine?
Released in 1996, the animated series "Pokemon" made many children go crazy. In the cities of Russia, they began to produce stickers and chips with the main characters of the cartoon, which were bought by many children. In total, "Pokemon" has 22 seasons - little viewers managed to feel warm feelings for Ash and his loyal friends, in particular, Pikachu, and now they are happy to place figures of their favorite characters on the shelves in their bedroom. Anyone using plasticine can mold Pikachu. This will require patience, attentiveness and, of course, desire. In the article, we will consider methods of sculpting a cartoon character from different types of plasticine.
Modeling features
Pikachu is one of the main characters in the Pokémon animated series and Ash's loyal friend. It can be found in the form of toys, key rings and plasticine figurines. The yellow animal has superpowers. As you might guess, the main color in modeling will be yellow. This cute animal has a rather simple body shape, so even a child can make the craft.
For sculpting Pikachu, a school kit of materials in a cardboard box will be enough. NSWhen working, be sure to use a plastic knife - it helps to evenly cut pieces of material. The figurine vaguely resembles a mouse, but Pikachu has long ears and a tail. You can mold a plasticine animal with your child.
Sculpting helps in the development of the right brain hemisphere and creative thinking.
Necessary materials
The Pikachu figurine is yellow, so when preparing materials for work, you should make sure that there is more plasticine of this color.
For work you will need:
-
plastic board (can be replaced with oilcloth);
-
matches (or toothpicks, if any);
-
plastic knife (stack);
-
4 colors of plasticine - yellow, pink, white and black.
At your discretion, pink plasticine can be replaced with red.
How to make from different plasticine
Such a Pokemon figurine can be sculpted both from soft plasticine or lightweight, and from ordinary. The stages of work are not much different, but fluffy plasticine is more malleable, holds its shape, molds and stretches easily. Children love to sculpt figures from it. Doing everything step by step, you can mold the same figure as in the shown lessons.
Of the usual
Let's consider the stages of work.
-
We take yellow plasticine and roll it into an even ball. Keep in mind that this is the basis of the craft, so the size of the ball will determine how large or small the Pikachu will turn out to be.
-
Let's form a rectangular parallelepiped from this round base, slightly rounding its edges. This can be done using a table or any board.
-
Now it's the turn of the legs and handles. We take plasticine of the same color, and from two molded balls we create flattened small ovals. With the help of a stack, we make claws - 2-3 strips will be enough.
-
We do the same with the legs, only they should be larger.
-
We connect the arms and legs of the animal with the body.
-
We create the head. We roll up a small ball (it should be slightly smaller in size than the body). Let's flatten the top slightly.
-
We sculpt eyes and a small nose from black plasticine. Press in your eyes better so they don't bulge out.
-
We attach red (or pink) plasticine to the cheeks - 2 small flattened ovals.
-
We attach 2 small dots of white plasticine to the black eyes for the pupils.
-
The ears should also be yellow. We make them a slightly rectangular flattened shape, at the ends we must make black cones.
-
We attach to the head.
-
The mouth is the easiest to make. We pinch off a piece of black plasticine and attach a smile under the nose.
-
We make 2 black stripes on the back.
-
Cut out the tail with a stack (you can see what shape it is in the photo). We attach at the back. The craft is ready!
Out of the lung
Such plasticine is also called airy. Children love to make crafts from airy plasticine, as it is soft and pliable.
And how this is done, we will consider in stages.
-
We take a piece of airy plasticine and make a ball out of it. This will be the torso. When the mass becomes homogeneous and smooth, we make notches on the tummy on both sides, pressing lightly with your finger.
-
We also make the legs - they should protrude slightly.
-
Using a stack, cut out circles from the body on the sides.
-
We attach handles to the cut out circles, making 2 identical sausages.
-
We crush 2 small balls of yellow plasticine and make triangular legs.
-
We cut out the holes at the bottom of the body with a stack - insert the legs with the ends of the triangle.
-
We make strips in a stack (these will be claws).
-
We crush the yellow ball and make a head out of it. We attach eyes, mouth and cheeks to it (you can look at the cartoon character to remember how these parts look like).
-
We connect the head with the body.
-
Cut out 2 small holes on the head (for the eyes).
-
Insert black eyes and make 2 white dots from plasticine.
-
Cut out the tail, and make its end pink.
-
To keep the ears in a standing position, you need a toothpick. We wrap two pieces of a toothpick with yellow plasticine (we make the ends black).
-
We insert toothpicks into the head.
To sculpt Pikachu, you will need very few materials, and in a matter of minutes the child will create a hero from his favorite cartoon that will bring him joyful emotions!
