How to mold a train from plasticine?
Very often, those who are fond of needlework are interested in how to mold a train from plasticine. Many of them are attracted by another, more specific question - how to mold the "Devourer" and a simple train with their own hands? It will be useful, however, to find out how to make a military train, and what advice the experts in molding give.
Simple option
This craft is available even for preschool children. No special skills and abilities are required here. Plasticine train carriages are made by attaching white "windows" to a blue rectangle. But carriages cannot do without a roof. To obtain it, use a rectangular piece of blue plasticine, which will have to be bent.
Next, you need to mold the black wheels and attach them to the bottom of the car. Of course, orange, green and white cars can be made in the same way. As far as imagination and plasticine colors are enough. Next, you need to make a steam locomotive step by step with your own hands:
- sculpt a green elongated rectangle;
- prepare a pink element;
- attach this bow of the locomotive;
- complemented by windows;
- install black wheels;
- put a yellow "check mark" and crown the roof of the locomotive with a pipe;
- complement the locomotive with a roof;
- fasten the entire composition together - it should turn out approximately as in the picture.
How to make the "Devourer"?
To work, you will need a large amount of red plasticine.
The technique is as follows:
- rub the cardboard with plasticine so that only the area for gluing remains;
- fold the workpiece into a cylinder, having previously used PVA glue;
- when the glue strip dries up, it is necessary to flatten the cylinder slightly so that the top of the "Devourer" is narrowed;
- the sidewall is chaotically covered with white blotches of various sizes (they symbolize the eyes);
- denote the muscle mass covering the surface;
- form a wide red mouth with sharp teeth;
- the figure of the "main passenger" is placed inside, resting with the handles spread out to the sides against the walls of the "Devourer";
- the "eyes" are being finalized to make them look more natural.
Modeling a military train
Young children like stylized plots, and their lovers like cartoon characters. However, there is something that will appeal to both - making with their own hands "almost real army steam locomotives." This requires black, gray, blue and red plasticine.
The cylindrical bow blank is usually black or dark gray in color.
The procedure is simple:
- knead the bar with your hands;
- pressed against the board;
- roll the mass back and forth;
- then a block of dark blue plasticine is prepared, it should be larger, it is undesirable to save on material;
- connection with the previous block strictly perpendicular will provide a simple match;
- the locomotive cabin will have to be supplemented with glass; a long strip of bluish plasticine is also needed;
- then make red wheels;
- frame them with black edging;
- a "drawbar" is applied, which supports the rotation of the wheels;
- add auxiliary details;
- put a safety grill;
- enjoy the result.
Useful Tips
Recommendations in the process of working on the creation of trains are as follows:
- you can replace any colors at your discretion - geometric accuracy is more important than an accurately seasoned color;
- the wheels must be attached to the lower part of the structure without the slightest gaps;
- thin cardboard is almost useless - thicker sheets are required;
- when working, it is useful to keep a soft cloth napkin at the ready to put your hands in order;
- you can roll out plasticine with an ordinary kitchen rolling pin;
- to increase the strength of the craft (for example, in public demonstrations), wire frames are used.
