Crafts from tin cans

You should not throw away containers from canned food, baby food, energy drinks after using the contents. Indeed, from glass and iron jars and jars, you can create many interesting things with your own hands. Moreover, they can be not only beautiful and decorative, but also functional.

What folk craftsmen do not make from all kinds of canned food cans. The first thing that comes to mind is, of course, flower pots.

First of all, you should clean the container from the label by rinsing it with warm running water and detergent. Next, it should be dried and then degreased. There are many ways to transform a simple jar into an original flower pot. The simplest thing is to paint the jar in whole or in part with acrylic paint, as your fantasy tells you.

If you want to apply some kind of drawing, this is also not a problem. After the main layer of paint has dried, you can take a sponge, dip it in paint of a contrasting color, then apply glare. However, a brush is also suitable for this.

If you only want the bottom of the can to be painted, this is also feasible. Accentuate the coloring line with a beautiful ribbon. And you can also hang a plate with the name of the flower on it, so as not to forget. The craft can even be decorated as a gift, and the plate with the name of the flower can be replaced with a greeting card.

Other decoration options for jars-bowls:

• pasting with colored paper (newspaper, magazine clippings, world map);
• wrapping with a beautiful ribbon (you can also use twine, ribbon);
• sheathing with fabric (leather, suede);
• decoration with volumetric plasticine details.

The original craft will turn out from ordinary clothespins.

To do this, you need:

• small jar;
• clothespins made of wood;
• priming;
• greenery seeds or any flower.

First, remove the label from the jar. The metal edges must be sanded to make them smoother and safer.

Next, attach the clothespins. Then we fill in the soil, sow seeds or plant a rooted plant.

Some jars can be used as a candlestick for scented candles. Such compositions of plants and candles look cute and elegant.

Metal jar lids can also be used for craft projects. To make a pendant, make two holes in the lids and fix them on a strong rope, and place the beads between the lids. The tapes must be attached to the wooden cross member.

To make a lamp you will need:

When tin cans have already been used for crafts, some rings remain from them. To make a lampshade out of them, they need to be glued. First, a circle is rolled out of the wire, then the first row of elements is glued onto it, and the rest are connected so that each lower ring is located between the two upper ones. A leg is made from a whole tin can.

Energy cans are coated with paint of any color, for example, gold, silver, copper. And the autumn vase will be ready. Make three of these vases and place them side by side, and inside place brushes of autumn foliage or a bunch of sea buckthorn.

An aluminum can is also useful for making an ashtray. All stages of its creation are quite simple. They can be performed even by a person who does not have special skills.

Glue two beautiful jars with hot glue to the base from the tube. You will get an unusual organizer for stationery and similar accessories.

Aluminum cans of beer or energy drinks can also be used to make a garden table and armchair. It will turn out not quite usual, but quite functional. First, the cans must be filled with sand so that they do not crumple under load, and then use hot melt glue to connect them to each other.

The can is cut, the top and bottom are separated. The result is a flat metal plate. A butterfly, bird, flower or other figurine is cut out of paper. It is redrawn onto a plate and the nodal points are pierced with an awl or other sharp object, and then a figure is cut out along the lines.

Then the figure is painted with a marker or spray paint.

If you fed your baby puree from jars, and you have accumulated a large number of them, do not rush to part with them. These miniature jars can last you a long time.
