To create a paper keychain, you will need the following materials and tools:

• scissors;
• ruler;
• pencil;
• cardboard (cut a small piece);
• A4 sheet;
• glue (PVA is best);
• stationery knife;
• thread with a needle;
• chain (you can take a part from an unnecessary or too long chain);
• awl (or something similar).

Here are the stages of work.

• First, let's prepare the paper from which the pages of the book will be created. To do this, take an A4 sheet and cut it into small rectangles (3x6 cm). Please note: you can choose other page colors as you wish.

• Fold the rectangles of paper in such a way that you get double pages (3x3 cm). We group them into three segments, each of which contains 3 pages. At the bend of each segment, holes are made with an awl at an equal distance from each other. More punctures can be made to prevent the pages from shifting.

• Now, using a needle and thread, we fasten the leaves of the segments with the Coptic binding (we just sew one side to the other).

• When all the segments are sewn, we coat the spine with PVA glue and leave it to dry (you can dry it with a hairdryer).

• While the book pages are drying, you can do the cover. Cut out 2 pieces of cardboard to fit the pages and 1 strip in order to close the spine.

• We glue all these parts with glue on beautiful cardboard paper. It is important to leave gaps on the cardboard paper, as shown in the corresponding photo.

• We do the same manipulations as shown in the photo. We make cuts on the paper.

• Tuck the edges and glue everything securely.

• In the upper part of the spine, we make a hole with an awl or other sharp object, attach the chain.

It remains only to glue the finished book to the cover, as shown in the photo.
