Office and business dresses for obese women
Business style is one of the most conservative clothing trends. Modern business suits - both men and women - differ very little from those worn several decades ago. This style is the least exposed to fashion trends, and therefore, business clothes bought today are likely to remain relevant for several more years.
Strict things are present in the wardrobe of all girls whose work is not related to physical labor or creativity - and there are most of them in the modern world. Many companies, taking care of their own image, limit their employees in the choice of work clothes. Requirements for all employers are different: some are limited to a vague definition of "business style", and someone prescribes the color of the shirt and the height of the heel.
Today's article is devoted to the problem of most plump girls: how to choose a strict dress that will look beautiful and elegant on curvaceous forms?
Peculiarities
Business dresses have several characteristic features, including:
- semi-tight silhouette - not too loose, but not tight either;
- restrained colors - light or dark, but not flashy colors;
- lack of patterns, with the exception of a discreet geometric pattern;
- skirt length to the middle of the knee or below (sometimes a skirt 5 cm above the knee is allowed);
- high quality dense, opaque fabrics.
Despite the rather strict requirements, a business dress is not necessarily a boring, conservative outfit. Even within the framework of a strict dress code, you can allow yourself some experiments, for example, with a combination of colors or with a combination of fabrics.In addition, there are quite a few options for office dresses, so every girl can find one that suits her figure.
Business styles
A-line dress
One of those styles that look most advantageous on girls with curvaceous shapes. The A-line dress has a tight bodice and a flared skirt. This silhouette allows you to disguise plump hips and emphasize the chest advantageously - especially if the dress has a V-shaped neckline. Long tapered sleeves add an elegant, understated look.
Case
This is a classic type of business dress. It is a simple dress with a shallow round neckline and a semi-fitted, tapered mid-knee skirt. This style fits well on all girls, and plump young ladies are no exception.
Wrap dress
Another model that perfectly conceals curvaceous shapes. A triangular bust cut lengthens the neck, while a slouchy skirt conceals extra volume at the hips. The scent creates a vertical line at the waist and skirt, which can visually stretch and narrow the figure.
What to wear with?
A jacket or a plain cardigan can be thrown over a business dress made of fine fabric or a sleeveless case. Tights and stockings can be of only two options - nude or opaque black. The office dress code does not allow fancy tights or fishnet stockings.
The bag should be in the same style as the shoes, but it may not match in color. Chubby girls are better off choosing large models - shoulder bags or "envelopes". Tiny clutches should be discarded as small handbags come in stark contrast to the curvaceous figure.
Office decorations should be discreet and discreet. It can be small earrings made of gold or silver, a chain with a pendant, a thin bracelet or a pair of rings.
Shoes
High heels are the most reliable assistant for those with luxurious shapes. Shoes with heels not only add a few centimeters of height, but also make us keep our head straight and straighten our back: beautiful posture has not spoiled more than one girl. In addition, the heel visually reduces the volume of the leg, which is especially important if you are wearing a dress that reveals this part of the body.
The shoes that we choose for a business dress should be quite strict. This means that bright sandals, frivolous sandals or over-the-knee boots are not suitable for us. Preference should be given to classic models: pumps or simple office shoes with thick heels. In the cold season, ankle boots or boots with a tapered toe to the knee are suitable for a business dress.
Selection Tips
- Black, gray and brown are the traditional colors of business style. However, do not get too carried away with them, because the office style allows for other shades of clothing. Take a closer look at dresses in light colors: beige, cream, peach. If you prefer darker tones, then pay attention to the deep shades of blue, burgundy and green.
- Often plump girls and girls once and for all choose one style of dress for themselves, reminiscent of a shapeless hoodie. Do not try to go this way! Each figure is individual, so you need to constantly try on different models: among them there are sure to be several in which you will look perfect.
For a business look, I always have a lot of jackets at home that complement almost any dress and make the look office.
