Most of the fluffy skirts for children are presented in festive elegant options. T-shirts (both plain and with a pattern), shirts (checkered ones are very popular), T-shirts, corsets, tops, turtlenecks and elegant blouses are worn with such skirts.

Prepare for work:

• One meter of satin. We will sew a petticoat and a belt from this fabric.
• One meter of tulle. For a fluffy skirt with frills, we need a material 1.5 meters wide.
• About ten meters of the braid.
• 50 centimeters of elastic. Its width should be 2.5 cm.
• Threads to match the future skirt.

For sewing, you need to follow these steps:

• Fold the tulle in half and mark the strips on it, the width of which will be 16 cm (for the strip itself 15 cm and for an allowance of 1 cm). There should be five strips in total, and each will have a length of 1.5 meters.

Cut the tulle into strips and sew them together to make a piece 7.5 meters long.

Further:

• Trim one edge of the tulle part with a bias tape so that the product keeps its shape.
• Sew the edges of the tulle strip to make a circle.
• Make along the edge, which will be sewn to the belt, two lines parallel to each other. The bobbin thread tension should be set to 0.
• Pull off the sewn-on stitching to obtain an overskirt.

• Cut out a pattern for the sun-cut lower skirt from the satin. For this, the material is folded in four. The radius of the belt for a girl with a waist of 55 cm will be 20 cm. The length of the skirt is also 20 cm. Do not forget to leave 1 cm at the top and bottom to bend the skirt and sew it to the belt.
• Fold up the bottom of the satin skirt and sew on it.
• Cut out a piece for the belt from the satin, which will be a rectangle about 70 cm long and 12 cm wide.
• Glue the belt with non-woven material.
• Sew the belt piece to make a circle, leaving about 2.5 cm of the belt unstitched in order to later insert the elastic.

Fasten with pins or bast with threads the lower skirt to the belt, making uniform folds. Attach a tulle skirt in the same way, then sew both skirts to the belt, and then insert an elastic band into the belt.

To make such a skirt, you will need:

• A piece of satin for a belt. Its width will be 12 cm, and its length will be two girths of the girl's waist.
• Two cuts of the veil with a length of 4 girths. One of them will be designed for the lower skirt, and the second (it will be a little shorter) we will use for the upper skirt. We select the width of the cut depending on the height of the child. We will collect both cuts so that we get parts with a length corresponding to two waist circumferences.
• One piece of veil for the ruffle of the upper skirt. The length of such a cut will be eight waist circumferences, and the width should be 12 cm. The cut should be tucked in until a piece of four waist circumferences is obtained, which is sewn to the bottom of the upper skirt.
• A pink sheer ruffle that will be used to trim the frill that is sewn to the top skirt. Its width will be about 5 cm.

All edges are finished with an overlock or zigzag seam. To create pleats in skirts, you need to sew a stitch with a wide stitch pitch, and then pull the thread to create folds. The same line is made in the middle of the pink ruffle, and after pulling it together, a lush gathering is formed.

Next, step-by-step stitching of the parts is carried out - first, the pink ruffle is sewn to the frill, then the frill to the upper skirt, after which both skirts are sewn to the belt. Finally, an elastic band is inserted inside the belt.
