Cotton-based fabrics are often used for sewing bed linen. They are breathable and non-allergenic. Such materials include the following varieties.

• Chintz... A budget option, but the quality is not the best either. Due to its low density, the material quickly deteriorates.
• Calico... It is denser and more durable than chintz, but at the same time it has an affordable price, is environmentally friendly, and easily tolerates washing.
• Ranfors... A denser variety of coarse calico, resistant to dirt, does not wrinkle, retains an attractive appearance for a long time.
• Polycotton... A blend of cotton and synthetic fibers. It is inexpensive, has bright colors, even weaving. At the same time, it is not hypoallergenic and quickly loses its appearance.
• Poplin... Quite durable, but lightweight fabric. It keeps its shape well, does not require special care.
• Flannel... Fabric is soft and cuddly. The composition contains synthetic fibers. Over time, flannel may become pilling.

Satin deserves special attention... This material is also made on the basis of cotton, but due to the special way of weaving it has a characteristic shine and resembles silk. At the same time, the fabric does not wrinkle or slip, it can withstand a large number of washes and looks beautiful.

• Printed... A denser variety of material.
• Printed... It is used specifically for drawing patterns over the entire area of ​​products. Also has a high density.
• Satin jacquard... Its difference is that the drawing is not applied by printing, but is woven when the fabric is woven.
• Mako satin... Only the highest quality Egyptian cotton is used for its production. The finished products have a silky texture and a pleasant shine.

Batiste also stands out among cotton-based materials.... It is thin and light, beautiful, but not very practical, so kits made of it are used on special occasions. For example, they are given for the birth of a child or for christenings, as well as presented to newlyweds.

Silk is as popular as cotton-based materialshowever, natural fabric is expensive. Among synthetic materials, microfiber deserves attention....
