To date, every parent has at least once heard of a game called Minecraft. This game has become a real hit, and its popularity among children is only growing. It has an original graphic design that is easy to remember.

Due to the high rating of Minecraft, many manufacturers of various goods for children (clothing, school accessories, home textiles, toys, etc.) create entire collections of their products, the design of which is dedicated to this game. Among them there are also bedding companies.

Peculiarities

Children's bedding is always distinguished by bright and interesting design. In addition to the classic plant and animal prints, images of cartoon characters, comics and video games are common. One of these designs is the Minecraft-style coloring.

Such underwear can be recognized by the presence of images of the characters in the game: Alex, Steve, Enderman, Blacksmith and others; icons typical of this game; whole game plots, as well as thanks to special graphics (in pixels).

We decided to describe some of the brightest Minecraft children's bedding sets.

  • Bed linen "Minecraft" from "Novitex". Children's set made of ranforce is soft, but at the same time very durable, it can withstand numerous washings. Bed linen goes for a 1.5-bed place. The set includes a comfortable sheet with an elastic band that does not get out of bed.
  • Bed linen "Minecraft" for boys. A cool double-sided one-and-a-half euro set from the Polish brand Halantex will be an excellent option for a boy's bedroom. Consists of 100% cotton, which is a hypoallergenic wear-resistant material that is pleasant to the touch. The set includes a duvet cover and a pillowcase.
  • Bed linen "Minecraft Spawn". A set in the style of your favorite game will surely please your child. The 1.5-bed set includes a pillowcase, duvet cover and bed sheet.
  • The Minecraft bedding set from Tirotex (Moldova). The set (1.5-bed) is made of natural cotton (coarse calico) with a print of various characters from the famous game. Set includes: duvet cover, sheet, 2 pillowcases.

Kit sizes

In order not to miscalculate the size when buying a baby bedding set, you need to know the parameters of the child's bed and take into account his age. It is best to measure the exact dimensions of the bed. It is important to remember that 1.5-bed baby sets do not come in one standard size. It depends on the country of origin. Usually, only the composition of the set does not change: 1 or 2 pillowcases, a duvet cover and a sheet.

Russian bed linen manufacturers adhere to the following sizes: sheet - 145x215 cm, duvet cover - 143x215 cm, pillowcase - 70x70 cm. A 5 cm error in size is considered permissible. If we take each piece of the set separately, then children's pillowcases are most often found in the following sizes: 40x60, 60x60, 50x70 and 70x70 cm.

To make sure your pillowcase fits perfectly, measure its size before purchasing a set.

The size of the sheet should be 15-20 cm larger than the size of the bed in order to be able to tuck it under the mattress or so that it hangs freely on the sides. The standard size of a sheet for a 1.5-bed bed is 90x200 cm. Do not forget to measure the blanket and when buying, choose sets with a duvet cover 7-10 cm larger than the size of the child's blanket. This is required so that the duvet is loosely inside the duvet cover and does not fold.

The most common sizes of duvet covers are: 150x210 and 150x215 cm. Turkish sets have a standard of 160x220 cm. Buying children's bedding sets "with a margin", you insure yourself if it "shrinks" a little after washing, which is typical for products made from natural fabrics.

Types of fabric

It should be remembered that baby's skin is softer and more susceptible to the formation of allergic rashes, so it is very important to choose baby bedding only from natural fabrics, which are considered the most environmentally friendly and do not cause allergies. The most common materials for the production of children's textiles are coarse calico, bike, bamboo, satin, ranfors. All of them have their own distinctive properties, thanks to which they are considered suitable for making baby bedding from them.

The most common is coarse calico. Inexpensive and very easy to care for. It is hypoallergenic and durable, but it can be uncomfortable for babies to sleep on. For the smallest, the best option is a bike or ranforce. The first fabric is very soft and delicate to the touch, has a fine pile, perfectly warms, but is not suitable for hot weather. The second - ranfors - has the same properties as coarse calico, but its texture is much softer and more pleasant.

The main thing is that the fabric from which the bedding for the child is sewn:

  • had a natural origin or a very small percentage of impurities (up to 30%);
  • was hypoallergenic (cotton fabrics have this property);
  • was not electrified (the appearance of a charge indicates that there is a lot of synthetics in the fabric, but this does not apply to woolen products);
  • was soft and pleasant to the body;
  • was breathable to allow air to pass through and absorb moisture.

Almost all proven manufacturers of children's textiles use only high-quality materials in their production. Therefore, the choice of fabric remains with the parent himself, the main thing is not to miscalculate with the size.

How to care?

Choosing a children's bedding set, you need to know a few simple rules of care, observing which you will forget for a long time about buying a new set to replace the old one.

  • After purchase, before use, you need to wash the kit to remove excess paint, plus this will help get rid of the specific smell that is inherent in new laundry.
  • To increase the life of the product, you should wash it at 40 degrees in the delicate wash cycle. But it is best to carefully read the information on the packaging or product label, where the manufacturer gives recommendations for the care of a particular material.
  • At the end of the wash, immediately hang the laundry, turning it inside out. It is recommended to change the kits once every one to two weeks.
  • Ironing is also best based on the information on the laundry label.
  • If the set has decorative trim (lace, embroidery), it is better to iron from the back side.
  • Store the laundry in a dry place out of direct sunlight.
